Um, those random arrows in Vilja’s inventory, are those arrows she has collected by being shot?

Shopping, repairing, checking in with the boss, restocking potions, there's a lot to do besides slayage!

It was good to see Aravi with her colleagues at the Order’s headquarters. It sounds like Vilja would like to take a trip to Bruma. Maybe that snowfall in Bravil made her think of it.

I had the same thought as Acadian about the clothes: blue velvet matches your eyes, Vilja! Then she redeemed herself with the green doublet.

Very sweet to see Aravi and Vilja taking care of each other with the potion and sweetrolls. Vilja even made bread back at the Manor. This was a nice break before the next road trip. A whole gang of vampires attacking a camp! That sounds horrifying.

Oh, good idea, mALX. I wonder what Roland has to say about nightmares?

@mALX: Normally she has to brew potions too, but she has plenty still. She’s not going out for an afternoon in the park, she needs to be sure she’s ready to take on a scourge of vampires. And then later on we found out that she forgot something rather important as well. You’ll see.

Maybe I’ll take some screens or write out what Roland has to say about those topics. You all have busy lives and I would like to use the time I borrow from you all to show other things.

You know Aravi very well! I got a chuckle out of that second sentence. Vilja must really not like Aravi’s choice in clothing, if she took it upon herself to buy a bunch of new clothing. I have to admit Aravi doesn’t dress very fashionably.

I usually skip over the whole preparation process when I’m making videos but I needed something to slow us all down a bit before launching into Ninendava.

Vilja’s been wanting to go to Bruma for a long while now. Perhaps just to quiet her down Aravi will take her there.

I was ready to accuse Vilja of buying clothes for herself and not Aravi like she claimed, except she already has one of each of those. She wouldn’t want another of the exact same thing would she?

I’m glad you noticed the bread! I lost the rest of that scene. Vilja actually brought some garlic bread over to Aravi! She ate it while it was still warm.

And as if that wasn't funny enough, then Vilja asks, "How bout just go and kill something?" ... and Aravi turned around and looked at her ... I'm thinking, Aravi wouldn't have far to go to do that, ROFL !!!!

Quite a dagger collection Aravi has. I heard on one of her vids recently the old +70 skill comment from an NPC, “Looks like you’re handy with a blade”. Congrats, Aravi! And some of those daggers look pretty powerful! Every melee weapon that Buffy picks up says its damage is, um . . . one. Do you suppose that has anything to do with her blade skill of 5 and strength of 30?

I see Vilja tossed the silver goblet in favor of a big girl cup!

WooHoo! The waterfalls of Shadow’s Rest Cavern. Buffy has location notes for ten sets of waterfalls across Cyrodiil and has marked them all by scattering items of clothing near them.

Ugh. That will-o-the-wisp did a j-o-b on poor Vilja. How nice of Aravi to heal her up and – By Azura! That gargoyle was a shocker! What an unhappy surprise!

Great screenies! I’m so glad that Aravi has an appropriately flowered and ladylike shield – it’s beautiful! #14 is my fave of the screens – what a fantastic close up and pose!

Oh my goodness, the perils of a Nord roommate. Goblet on the floor, chugging out of a tankard that’s bigger than her head, and then how about we go kill something. I’m surprised there was no belch and scratch! Aravi's reaction was priceless!! I am laughing myself silly and bookmarking this video. OMG, it’s never going to get old!

Oh, I think Vilja was looking out the window when she commented on the view! Awesome.

Yay, waterfalls. Best not to mention how Jerric celebrates finding one.

Wow, that was a tough fight. It looks like it’s going to rain. Whoa, gargoyle! That was a shocker. Sometimes the journey is an adventure in itself.

I love the screenshots with the new Khajiit Blade! Screen14 is my favorite Aravi shot of all time now. How could you pick just three of them? I’m glad you posted them all.



All right, I’m going to watch the goblet scene again. So funny!!

The water looked chilly but Aravi needed a bath. Some bandits attacked along the road and she got some blood on her.

Wills are the only things that I have ever seen take Vilja down.

The shield is quite nice isn’t it? Screen14 is easily one of the best screens I’ve taken.

Oh, it looks much better to see Vilja in that armor than in the ballgown as she waits for Aravi !! GAAAAH !!! What was that? Vilja is back in her ballgown trooping through the place like she's shopping? ARGH !!!

Uh oh, Aravi's vision is blurring. That isn't good. Poor Aravi, she has to babysit Vilja at these dangerous places - and that isn't an easy task, lol.

If my game is working, Maxical may try to help Aravi. She has been trying to heal up Alix the Mouse #1 and may want to test him out in a dungeon. Lets hope she gets there in time to catch Aravi and Vilja, lol.

Great choice to leave Aravi on guard duty.

She was sooo set for a poisoned blade sneak attack on that vampy barbarian till the damn dread zombie ruined everything! Aravi’s getting really good with her footwork in support of blade. She did a great job of mostly avoiding that nasty one armed strike of the dread zombies.

Argh! Vilja! Get back where Aravi told you to wait!

Nice to see Aravi taking a break outdoors to heal and rest before going back in there. I loved seeing Aravi using her portable campsite! It is one of our fave mods.

Buffy is en route to try and help. She really is, but may be delayed just a bit. Can you imagine why? Screenshot

Oh, the light is just beautiful in those screens.

When that dread zombie followed the vampire around the corner, my heart was in my throat. I really hate those. Ugh, it looked like it was exuding clouds of yuck. I’m very happy to see how fast Aravi is with that sword.

Vilja, what?! Then her book needed more pictures. This was not her smartest episode ever.

Against the next DZ, that Restore Fatigue potion really made a difference. Good idea to set up camp and take a Mandrake break. This ruin looks like it could be tough!



mALX, I hope Alix feels better soon.

Acadian, what a beautiful shot! It looks like Buffy and Superian passed through before Jerric and friends found those falls.

@mALX: What the heck was Vilja thinking? She even pretended she was on her way to ‘help!’ Out the door you go! I don’t know if you imagined it this way but I imagined Aravi grabbing Vilja’s arm and hauling her out the door.

Aravi got some disease from those zombies. She hates zombies almost as much as she hates those that create zombies.

I hope you get Alix kicking again!

@Acadian: I’m guessing you meant Vilja? Because she was supposed to stay on guard duty.

That zombie ruined everything! She tried to wait to see if it would stop and turn around or something but when it became obvious that she was going to be revealed she hit it with a command and went after the vampire.

Yes, she went outside because she wasn’t feeling right. Some mandrake root and fresh air does wonders.

@ Acadian - Buffy and waterfalls ... or is it Jerric below that she has stopped to watch? ROFL !!

@ Grits - I see Jerric and Darnand's clothing beside Lildereth's ... but I only see Lildereth swimming! Are Jerric and Darnand swimming ... underwater? (and if so, what exactly are they looking at !?!). ROFL !!! I have run across THOSE types camping before, a quick shout to the wife usually ended up in them being hauled from the water by the ear followed by them rapidly moving to another camp site.

@ KC - I have been really tempted to add those mods you are using to get the great loot and try out this vampire quest - but I doubt Maxical would live through those tougher enemies Aravi faces !! Maybe I should wait till Maxical is at a higher level, lol. I can't get over the difference in the number and strength of the enemies Aravi is facing !! Maxical will try to come help her, I hope going in there and cleaning up won't hurt the Umbacano quest, lol.

I couldn't be sure if Aravi keeps going back out to check on Vilja or if she is resting up and healing between rooms in the dungeon, but it ratchets up the tension a lot to see her fleeing with a low fatigue and blurred vision - then when she goes back in I'm not sure if she's healed or not and start checking out her stats, lol. She should have kept that "fortify fatigue 35%" shield - that would help her a LOT !!

Aravi takes the hard road in her fights, not using the help of companions and eschewing the benefits of enchanted armor & weapons - I've noticed that in her arrow selections too! That is really awesome, makes the battles that much more scary to watch and that much more a victory when she beats the enemies. Watching Maxical fight after seeing Aravi in action - it is like a seeing a baby fight after watching Ali, lol.

I absolutely love these vid series you are doing !!! Awesome vid !!

Grits – Argh, Buffy missed Jerric at the falls! Great screenie and we can even see the bridge that Buffy & Superian crossed. Between Jerric, Darnand, Lildereth, Buffy, Maxical and Vilja, poor Aravi’s not getting much help, is she?

KC – I loved how Aravi commanded those ghosts to fight each other. She even got a wolf in the process. I was so happy when she snuck back out of sight to let things run their course. I couldn’t believe it when she then charged in there before the ghosts had reduced their number to one! I’m going to send Aravi some finger(claw)nail polish to use with the hope that it will help her to patiently bide her time while those command spells are running their course! .

Then I was all happy with Aravi again when she took out that bow and remembered to poison it for the next engagement.

Oh, Buffy finally arrived. She couldn’t help but notice Vilja in her blue velvet gown and fully charged big tankard of ale. . . . So she figured maybe the best place for her to try and help would be outside for now. You know, guarding Vilja while Vilja guarded the door. Screenshot

I guess that ghost fight could have taken a long time with both of them immune to each other’s frost attacks and the steel longsword not doing any damage. I was a little worried about that blade trap when she backed up during the wraith/wolf/ghost fight. It looked like she was kneeling next to a puddle of blood.

I love that Shield of the Warmonger. I think that Aravi’s Dark Rose shield suits her better, though.

Vilja is still in fine form, I see. Charm amulet indeed! Then she breaks out the ale while on guard duty. Sigh.

This video gave a great sense of the twisty, turny corridors. It looks like Aravi is being cautious, checking around corners and above for traps.

Yep, the whole crew went into the water. Thankfully you can only see Lildereth, and not the naked Nord doing a cannonball off the falls. Not sure where Darnand is. Probably at the bridge calculating what spells he will need to make it from there to the water. The lads can get a little competitive.

Jerric wanted to make sure everyone got together this time, so he packed a picnic. Looks like he forgot the cups again.


ETA: Oh, I didn't think about how much the fatigue bonus on that shield would help. Good point, mALX!

@mALX: You should try it. Fran’s mod might be making things more difficult. Or maybe standard Oblivion leveling would be difficult? Lol.

Aravi is resting more often. After she found that ax and shield she decided to go back out, drop off the shield, and take a short breather. And maybe she checked to see if Vilja had drunk herself into a stupor.

That shield would have hurt her casting ability, and it is a heavy shield. Aravi specializes in light.

About her gear: Most of her stuff is unenchented because she cannot fix enchanted stuff herself. Most of the arrows she uses are looted arrows. What she finds she uses with the exception of iron and steel. She did run out of arrows on the road to the imperial City fighting those two bandits and she was forced to purchase some.

Ali? Typo or a nickname? Lol.

She goes through quite a few poisons in this dungeon as you will see.

@Grits: I think that was a puddle of blood at one time, but it's just a stain now. The texture of the stone was consistent with the surrounding stones. Aravi noticed because she doesn’t wear shoes.

If that Warmonger shield was light I think she’d use it. It’s heavy though so she gave it to Vilja.

Just thinking about heavy armor, I wonder what Aravi would look like in blades armor? That might be worth checking out.

I made an oops commenting on the last screen. I was too busy laughing at the pile of clothing all over the ground that I didn’t notice that it was actually Lildereth in the screen!

A picnic! So is this set up for when Aravi comes out after killing all the vampires?
And there are plenty of bottles, who needs cups? Great screen. How did you get the baskets up there? You can’t put those in your inventory can you?

@ KC - (Ali) - I was comparing Aravi's fighting ability to Ali's, and Maxical's fighting ability to that of a baby's. (Ali = Muhammad Ali/Cassius Clay)

I also have to agree with Aravi checking to see if Vilja is out there drunk - or passed out instead of just sleeping. She is rapidly becoming quite the tippler, how many times has Aravi had to pick up goblets from the floor lately? ROFL !!!

The water looks Awesome, but what's the opacity when you are swimming underwater? I liked your last one because for the first time ever I could see when someone was swimming underwater, lol.

The vid ... all I can say is ... HOLY CRAP !!!! I fully expected those vampires to chase her right out !!! ARGH !!!

The basket is either 24D91 or 24D92. I think it’s the second one. I added them to Lildereth’s inventory for the photo shoot and just dropped them. That wheel of cheese gave me fits. It kept knocking the apples down the hill. I’m still vanilla, so I have to get creative. You should have seen me at the waterfall trying to get Roland Jenseric and Keld of the Isles to stand in for Jerric and Darnand. Keld ended up attacking Lildereth with his claymore. It was a debacle! When I finally start installing mods, you will see a flood of screen shots! The Blades armor is my favorite heavy armor. I know someone who would trade a set for an heir, if Aravi’s interested. That water looks beautiful!

The video: OMG, from the very first shot that was a battle! The enemy health meter went down, then it went right back up when the vampire healed himself, argh!! They are so fast! Good job keeping them bottled up in that corridor. Those last two were scary when they saw her right away. I think I heard the Altmer collapse and die as Aravi sprinted for the steps. That little peek over her shoulder said a lot! I’m with mALX, I really thought the last one was going to keep chasing her! Now where is Vilja, passed out under a bush? What a great, fast-paced video!

Old business: KC, Silly me. I’m so glad you reminded me that those ghosties weren’t hurting each other as the reason Aravi joined that fray. And Grits, that picnic looked beautiful! Buffy was afraid to ask for any – she’s heard not to get between Jerric and food.

Nice looking water!

Gosh, those vampire scouts were so quick as they charged! Then they were joined by a summoned zombie! Then by a mage! Argh! Good call by Aravi to chase down and kill that mage to get rid of both the mage and summoned zombie. Whew.

Then. . . then, she sneaks back and a new even baddddder group start on her! DoubleArghArgh! I was so thankful that she scooted her little tail right back outside again to heal up and plan her next move.

@mALX: Good that you now have the right place in mind. That would be kind of funny actually to see Maxical standing at the other one wondering where everyone is though.

And at the end they did follow her out the first time. But then VIlja did something so stupid and inexcusable I had to dump the recording and reload the auto save from when she left the ruin. I was so mad.

@Grits: It didn’t occur to me that you could add those to your inventory because you can’t pick them up in game. Of course that won’t have any effect on whether or not you can console them in. Duh!

Sounds like you had some fun trying to get the photo shoot set up. A tip for next time: If you type “tai” in the console then all of their AI will be shut off and won’t move. You can target the command to specific NPCs as well.

I think Aravi will be just fine paying for a set that will likely fit her, so no trade necessary.

@Acadian: Aravi wasn’t moving as fast as she could have in that last video either. She had some leg injuries that damaged her speed so those vampires had a speed advantage. Those last two seemed like they were a lot more dangerous than the previous three. Or perhaps she was just tired. Either way she decided to run and I think that was the best thing she could have done.

Aravi is nearly slaughtered while Vilja slept, and she sees Aravi covered in blood, barely able to breath, and diseased from the scum she battledd with - and Vilja says, "What a lovely day it is today...don't you think so too?" I'm glad Aravi took her bedroll from her, I wouldn't give it back when Aravi is going into danger, lol.

Whoever made this mod has put a ton of work into it and did an AWESOME job! This is so complex, and every time you think Aravi has beaten the big enemy there is more! I have to get this mod, but first I want to get the mod that gives all that great loot, lol. Maxical spends weeks after cleaning a dungeon hauling all the loot to the shops, that is how she stays in Septims all the time, lol.

(Hint, hint ... if you will post your mods ... , lol). Awesome vid! I jumped a mile when she walked in the door and they were all waiting for her !!!
