Congratulations to Shogun SubRosa! Thanks for sharing your campaign with us along with your observations of Shogun II. I remain impressed with the scale of the game and its setting. 'Facing the enemy general' is a fabulous shot. Not only does it have horses and some up close action but, as you've done before with flowers, here it is the beautiful sun that provides the incongruity. Last through the ages?!? By Azura, it looks like SubRosa City is still faring well after five centuries!

Back to Hecate and her big gurl gun! Wow, you can really see the Skyriim influence on the mojavie Legion - men in skirts and red shirts. Hecate in action. *happy sigh* What a wonderful shot of Hecate the Gungirl. Skeeters? I think I saw a mosquito out here in the desert once. . . but that was years ago. I figured it must have stowed away on a plane full of tourists from back east. Looks like she found some Shogun influence there in the last shot?

QUOTE(SubRosa @ May 4 2016, 03:05 PM) mALX: You cannot go in any of the buildings in the TW games. In Rome Total War you would fight inside cities though, battling through the streets. Sometimes you would find estates out in the country that would fight near. That pic is the first I have seen farms in Shogun 2. It is pretty neat to see. The boats in that one pic of crossing the river are just for show. You cannot get in them. If you notice, the water level is low there, so it is a ford you can just walk across. The enemy attacked me at that ford with all their cavalry. You can see the dead horses on the far left. After wiping them out I sent the infantry I had used to defend the ford across the river to attack the enemy from their rear. To be honest, it is not easy commanding an entire army. The pause key helps a lot! But you can only watch one area at a time, and things can happen in other places without you having any idea. Like your general getting into a fight with hundreds of spearmen... The next turn reinforcements took care of the remnants of the invaders I would be paused for days, drawing maps and plans, I singled this shot out because it was just beautiful! I love the cherry trees, how cool they put those in there! I like how they show where your army (and I'm assuming your enemy's army) will be marching, and they showed the next land with the names on it - sometimes I wish they would do that in ESO, lol. These games look so great for me to watch someone else playing them, but I don't know if I would ever be able to actually play one myself, lol. I bet you would be awesome playing "Stratego," or any of the other world domination games, lol. I used to find a small island and try to amass troops to defend it; my son wiped me out every time,

QUOTE(SubRosa @ May 4 2016, 05:09 PM) I can't get over how stunningly gorgeous that first screen is! And the second - amazing graphics to have so many NPC's populating a screen in action including their horses! This game is Awesome, I can see why you like it! The last shot I singled out - I just spent some time in Cyrodiil (in ESO) - this shot so reminds me of the Alliance war going on in Cyrodiil! You try to usurp control of the other Alliance's keeps; steal their Elder Scrolls; etc. - have to attack their fortresses with Ballistas and trebuchets, (etc) filled with hot oil/rock/diseased meat/fire/lightning/etc. You can get missions to attack forts and seize them; but if you are like me (playing single player) it is better to get missions to repair the keep walls or scout behind enemy lines. You can also heal the fighters while they do the combat if you are too green or inexperienced to take on a fort. The girl I play with from Australia and I came across an enemy gate and couldn't cross it; and she pulled out a huge trebuchet and started hauling off and bombarding the gate with just the two of us there, But after the battle, the fortress walls remain damaged till someone repairs them, so for people like me who are playing alone and can't take on a fort - repairing the walls afterward is a good way to earn rewards. Anyway, that last picture reminded me of what it looked like when they are laying siege to a fortress in Cyrodiil. Very cool looking game, I'm so glad you shared it on here! Awesome graphics, and I love that you were given the honor of being a Shogun at the end !!! QUOTE(SubRosa @ May 6 2016, 01:41 PM) Acadian: ShogRosa sounds about right. I really loved what they did at the end of the victory video, the camera opens to the statue, and then zooms out to show the modern city all around it, with your clan's mon on the building to the left. Back to the Mojave. Early Morning SniperWake up call for the LegionHecate in actionMighty big skeeters in these partsHecate found the Repconn 'O' Hecate !!! Uh Oh, I see trouble ahead if she is declaring war on Caesar's Legion! WOO HOO !!! Can't wait to see what she does to the Legion next, she will have to have one eye over her shoulder at all times, lol. OMG, is that the O? I never would have thought that is what that was! Awesome shots, and again wanted to thank you for showing that Shogun game. It is really impressive!

Acadian: At least the Legion skirts make more sense in the desert. At least during the day. I imagine at night it must get awful cold out there in the Mojave. No skeeters in the Mojave? I suppose you folks have flies instead. Not to mention radscorpions. I hadn't even thought of the crosslegged sitting as looking Japanese! But you are so right! Hecate is a Samurai Sniper. mALX: I love the cherry trees on the strategic map in Shogun 2. It is one of many things that really brings a Japanese feel to the game. That is neat to hear about the alliance war in Cyrodiil. I have actually seen talk of Elder Scrolls mods for the Total War games, though so far as I know no one has ever made Tamriel Total War. There are several impressive Lord of the Rings total conversion mods for Rome Total War 1 - Third Age Total War, Second Age Total War, and Fourth Age Total War. The Legion never gives most of my characters a choice about declaring war on them. Not after seeing what they did to Nipton. It is supposed to frighten people, but it just gets my character's dander up, and puts the Legion on their list of abominations that must be expunged from the world. Except for Loviatar. She thought it was nice of the Legion to leave all those tasty snacks up on those crosses.... But I am using a mod that reduces the frequency of the Legion assassin squads. So I don't have them constantly coming after my characters. Blast OffBrassyAngry DeathclawToo close for comfortMuch too close for comfort

No skeeters and no flies here. The lack of skeeters makes complete sense in the desert. Not sure on the flies though. I spent lots of time in the deserts of the middle east and it is swarming with flies. Just lucky out here in the Mojave I guess. Well, we do have rattlesnakes (not the blue-eyed blonde kind), mountain lions, bobcats, coyotes and bark scorpions. The bark scorpions are small but among the most dangerous scorpions there are (not counting the megaradiated giant ones on FONV of course.) Blast Off – You know I love it when you show us screenies of those old billboards. Brassy – Wow, that brings back memories of having to ‘police up our brass’. Deathclaw. . . oh my. I can’t even imagine how terrifying it must be for Hecate to be seeing that magnified in her scope!

Oh, I meant to mention and forgot - each of the items you fling on people has its own effect - of course the fire and hot oil both burn, etc - but the diseased meat makes it hard for the enemy to heal; when it hits them their healing is reduced by a percentage and then you pound them with something else and they can't heal up from it. I thought that was kind of a cool touch in combat, lol. That is exactly how it struck me seeing those Cherry Trees - it just gave a perfect touch of Japan to make me feel immersed in the setting (like seeing sampans and that rice paper-wall building) . I think I already said that I loved anything Oriental when looking at your apartment pictures and mistakenly thinking that statue of William Shakespeare was Emperor Mao or something, I guess it doesn't even need to look Oriental when my glasses are off for me to feel the Japanese vibe, (at least I was right that those were cherry trees, lol) . OMG, that is one ugly Deathclaw! I am tied for favorite between the two "Too Close For Comfort" screens - especially the first one, where you can see the bullet cartridge being ejected so you know she is firing for her life! Hecate isn't a Dead is Dead character, is she? It really looks like we almost found out on those shots! Awesome shots !!!! (and scary !!! )

Early sniper is wonderful! Hecate looks so happy in her deadly work. Taking notes on her Pipgirl? New hat. . . . Oh my. I hope the Fashion Rangers don’t catch her. I love the saspirilly sign with Hecate peeking out from behind it ready to shoot. A well deserved cold one. I think I’d stick with the soda pop instead of that nuclear moose juice.

* I never play DiD either; spend way too much time making my character look nice to throw it all away just because they had a mishap, Oh, I've seen this spot before! Can't remember where it is though! The map = Easter Egg time! I do know where that one is. BWAAHAA! Hecate looks adorable in that ram-horn helmet! Ooh, she is about to find out where my "Where am I" thread screen came from a week or so ago - the one no one recognized, lol. I love that posing; took all kinds of notes on it and lost them all in my move! I'm going to have to redo the notes so I can see Misa holding a drink in the Mojave or Wasteland instead of just in ESO, lol. Awesome shots !!!! Acadian: Hecate is an early riser. After all, the early sniper shoots the worm... Thankfully the Fashion Rangers were busy with the boys wearing red skirts... mALX: That is another reason I don't play DiD. Like you, I spend a long time working on not only their faces, but figuring out their outfits, creating mods just for them, etc... The Early Morning Sniper pic is on the roof of Violet's lair. She's the Fiend leader with all the dogs. Hecate has the Animal Friend perk, which made all the dogs friendly. Until she killed Violet. Then the dogs all went hostile. But thankfully a Legion assassination team attacked at just that moment, and the dogs all attacked them. That turned out to rather well. I love that map. The first time I saw it I was scratching my head over what it was. Then it all sank in. Is that pic no one recognized inside the Sunset Sarsparilla building? Hecate has not gone inside yet, but probably will soon. I think she might have 50 star caps by now. Oh noes, about the poses! Now you need to write them all down again. This looks disturbing...Vegetable riotPlants that killShooting ghoulsShooting ghouls IIThese ones are too close for comfortHecate puts them downNow to deal with this nuclear reactorMr. House's houseIron ManBeautyBeastThe Deadclaw PromontoryThis post has been edited by SubRosa: May 15 2016, 05:34 AM

A deadly garden! Those ghouls are too close indeed. Beauty is certainly aptly named. Beast – wow, he looks like the monster in Predator. Love the wisp stalks on the left side of the picture. Roll out the deathclaw carpet for Hecate!

That must be why it looked so familiar, I've probably stood right there after the battle was over too! You work so hard to live through the attack, so kind of earned that climb to the top of her steel lair, lol. That map is one of those cool touches that made the Fallout world so fun! Yes, I had rewritten the poses; then moved. I know I put those notes in a box; one that hasn't been found yet. Our deck is still stacked high with boxes to go through; I kind of lost momentum after that surgery, lol. So yeah, will either have to rewrite the ones I wanted or wait till I find them. Oh, I hate that vault! Worse = I hate getting up to it through that Cazador pass! Hecate looks like she just breezed up there, how can she look so good after being stung a billion times? That pass is one of those reasons I never play DiD, because I'd have to restart hundreds of characters on just that one spot on the map, Are you there on the quest for Camp McCarron or for Veronica? Urk, I hate ghouls! GAAAAH! I don't remember "Mr. House's House!" Is that what House used to look like? My how time changed him, urk! Oooh, I love the Deathclaw Promontory - but only with incendiary bullets, lol. These are some great shots, you always make me want to play whatever you are playing because your shots just really bring out the feel of the game!

Acadian: Hecate prefers her enemies to far, far away. But well within the reach of her M110 Semi Automatic Sniper System of course! You noticed the wisp stalk caps! Those are one of the only meshes/textures to make the transition from Oblivion to Fallout. They look a lot healthier in Cyrodiil though. mALX: I spent all the game collecting every antivenom I could find and hoarding them. I must have used about 40 of them in the past few days, exploring around Red Rock Canyon and then out north of Lake Meade. I hate those cazadors! Hecate went to that plant Vault for the scientist lady in Camp McCarran. Actually she went twice. The first time she cleared it out just exploring the area. Then she went to McCarran afterward and got the quest from the scientist and went back. The ghoul scientist magically appeared there the second time she went there, and she wrapped up her quest easy by burning up the vault and destroying the plant data. Mr. House's house is a just resort hotel that he must have owned, given that it was named after him. I am pretty sure he actually lived in the Lucky 38. The Deathclaw Promontory is one tough place! I like to bring satchel charges and mine the two entry areas, and lure the Deathclaws into charging over them. Anything else would be blown to bits. At least it softens them up some... Hecate was not expecting this! That looks like an uncomfortable place to keep her knifeSlender...Make with the prize, now!Hecate is the TopsTime to settle up with BennyRing a Ding Baby!

I hate the cazadors worse than ghouls! I remember you told me before that their poison kills you worse than their sting does and antivemon helps; I never knew that when I played on the 360. I will most def learn to make it in the game I started a while back (when I start playing it again). The plants/McCarron quest with the ghoul was so fun; I must have died thirty times trying to blow up that hallway! Loved that quest! Oh, I looked it up - Mr. House's house is Camp Golf now! I have never seen or noticed that "House Resort" sign on the door, or the picture of Robert House in there !!!! Man, I must be blind !!! I do love the Camp Golf quests - training the recruits, etc. Kind of don't like either pushing that guy into committing suicide or letting him continue hurting the NCR though. I did like listening to him talk. I like bringing Veronica to the Deathclaw Promentary and giving her "Pushy." She goes up to those Deathclaws and punches them out. When she first starts out, she can "one punch" kill them; but pretty soon she gets overwhelmed. But until then, it is fun to watch her in action, lol. Then I have to get the Anti-Material rifle out with incendiary bullets to save her, lol. * BWAAHAA! Eulogy's girls stand by their man, Oh wait, this isn't FO3! So it can't be Dukov either! What the heck? I don't think I know what/where this place is! Man, that is one ugly hooker! I don't see the knife though. Urk, looks like Hecate's time up in that space ship back in the DC Wasteland had some residual effects on her! YEAH !!! She finally went in!!! Hecate is being followed by some creepy looking guy in this shot! Holy Cow, did she hit him from that far away? Awesome !!! Urgh, glad I wasn't eating for that shot, Did his body guards attack Hecate for killing him? It doesn't seem like they are even in a defensive mode in the shot! I always save Benny's jacket and wear it, but ... have never seen it on him with his head gone before, that would kill my desire to wear it, I think, lol. I loved this set of shots, really Awesome update !!!

Not expecting indeed! Looks like Hecate violated the dress code. Slender - Eeeep! What happened? A manicure malfunction? Shooting Festus. I’ll bet she can’t miss from that range. Walking down the street in front of Tops. Love the nekked girl sign behind the street light. Is that from a ghastley mod? Inside Tops to settle with Benny – That place has seen its better days. Blew his head right off!

Love the holster billboard! What a great batch of Hecate shots. I love that area just outside Tops, where you can see the 38 sign. Hecate’s brass flying from the chamber is very cool, as is her nifty ‘chameleon’ suit. Oh, and palm trees. Lucky 38 looks pretty good inside. Something tells me Hecate did not go inside to either get lucky or to get a pair of 38’s. Lots of headshotting going on! At least Hecate didn’t pull off his ... well, she just ripped off unimportant stuff like legs and arms. Oh noes, Ceasar’s getting blood all over his nice Legion uniform! Hecate in a skirt! Aww, teddy bears.
