Okay, so maybe I shouldn't quote a Poison song in the title... Since everyone is doing it, I thought I'd post a few vids myself. This first one was reduced to 640 x 480, as trying to upload it at the original resolution would have taken over 3 hours. This is my current Fallout 3 character Tomoe Gozen. She wears the samurai armor from the Mothership Zeta dlc, and uses the katana from there as well. Tomoe at Hank's Electrical SupplyTomoe also found a very fun trap next door: Tomoe at Gold Ribbon GrocerI also have an old one I thought I would put up. This video was not created by myself, but rather someone else, who sent it to me and gave me permission to post it. It is from the game Rome Total War, and the mod used in the video is all my work: Amazon Total War. It gives a look at just a small slice of what ATW has to offer, showing a battle between the factions of Amazonia and the Greek Cities. Love the chillin' shot! It would be good in the Caption thread as well. Persephone found Arvak's skull - soon she'll have a new pet in Skyrim. Reapers look more fearsome than Keepers. It's Serana's mother. She look as old as her daughter. It's good to see pics of the Soul Cairn, it's been a while since I did it, and I forgot about the battle with the dragon up until now.

Acadian: Persephone spends a lot of time taking sides with Serana against other people: her father, Isran, and her mother. I guess you could say Serana is a very polarizing person! Seriously though, one thing I like about the Dawnguard main quest is that its heart is a very dysfunctional family squabble. It makes it all a little more relateable. Unfortunately summoning Durnevhiir is a shout, and since Persephone is not the Dragonborn, she cannot do that. But I did find a mod that adds a spell to summon him, and still advances the vanilla quest that summoning him is part of. So far it is working good. Lopov: Persephone always finds every grave. That is where she is most at home after all... I like Arvak. But unfortunately when Persephone summons Avrak to ride, Serana is left behind to walk. I found a mod that allows you to summon Avrak and then have a follower ride him instead of the player character. But that would leave Persephone on foot. Hmmmm, this has me thinking. Maybe I will create a copy of Arvak with a different name, and give the spell to summon him to Serana? But even if I did, how would I get her to use it when Persephone mounts up on Arvak? I did some tweaking to both Serana and her mother's features. First I tried a few mods, but they made them both look too much like baby doll porn stars. So I went back and just tinkered with them slightly. I gave Serana a red lipstick, and made her jaw a little narrower so her face has a more triangular look. I already modded out the vampire butt-faces added by Dawnguard, so all I did with Valerica was change her face texture to the normal one, instead of the 50 year old one. I always thought it was strange that an immortal vampire would look old. I always thought her undeadness would make her look like she was in her prime. QUOTE I always thought it was strange that an immortal vampire would look old. I always thought her undeadness would make her look like she was in her prime. Exactly. Nice shot of the duo - undead and with sparkling eyes. And with the same armor, only colors differ. Air support? Did Boomers somehow fly to Skyrim? Oh, no, it's Durnehviir, he's probably even more lethal than B-29. The Forsworn couldn't decide which one of the three is the most fearsome. Great action shot as Persephone kills the (I forgot his name) Forsworn. Did she manage to save Margret in time? A movie promo would also look great as a computer background.

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Oct 27 2016, 07:08 PM) Lopov: I think Potema was from the 3rd Age, since I believe she was a Septim. So Persephone was already over three thousand years dead by then. I don't think it's Ataxia... It might be Death though! I don't have a name for Sofie's fox. Maybe Foxie? I am not doing the Vampire side, but the Dawnguard side. But those lenses might have been added by the mod I am using to clean up Fort Dawnguard. I had forgotten about that until now. Acadian: Persephone is originally from Cyrodiil. So maybe there is a connection to all that pale-ness down there? I thought it was neat that Sofie's pet was a snow fox, considering that their home is in Winterhold. It would have been weird if it was a regular red fox from that neck of the glacier. I really do love Isran's voice. Which makes it a little hard for me to dislike the character. They did really well with the voice actors they used for the Dawnguard DLC. But I do love how everyone reacts when you tell them that Isran wants their help... mALX: Persephone's floating Skywalker pic is from using the Ascend pose. Its one of the vanilla poses from the Puppeteer Pose mod I use. I loved the Potema quests too. The first one had those awesome blue energy tendrils flowing around the cavern. And they both are great for bashing necros and vamps. I think it is supposed to be some kind of Ancient Nordic runes on the sword. It is from a mod that replaces the vanilla draugr greatsword textures with the glowing runes. I have been using it for years. I had to use TFC to get up close enough to get that second pic of the lenses over the Dawnguard foyer. The kitchen is from the Fort Dawnguard mod I mentioned to Lopov. The vanilla version was a torture chamber, if I recall... I think there are several mods that allow you to buy the Whiterun house without doing the main quest. There is also one that allows you to buy the Windhelm house without doing the MQ either. Looks like something untoward befell the Moth Priest visiting SkyrimGlowing Eyes to the rescueDon't see this everyday...Persephone at the controlsDexy's Midnight Runners"Will you stop swimming in the sky!"Comes a HorsemanThree Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky... Ooh, I didn't know they had mods to get that Whiterun house! That Windhelm house - I don't remember even seeing pictures of it, but I'm sure I have - just can't remember what it looked like. Of the houses I did get (Markarth, Solitude, and Riften) = Riften was my absolute favorite. I like "Glowing Eyes to the Rescue" here, nice colors in that shot! What in Nirn is that thing? Holy Cow, is it in that place where you have to get your soul back? Oh, coffins - must be part of Serana's quest, I haven't done that one yet other than finding her. Persephone's armor is fantastic here, just gorgeous! OMG, this shot had me laughing every time I looked at it! What is she (is that Serana?) doing up in the sky? And how? This invisible horseman is another thing I've never seen in the game, that is Awesome! I'm taking it that last shot is in the Dawnguard fort? It looks much better than I remember it! Great shots! QUOTE(SubRosa @ Oct 29 2016, 01:07 PM) Acadian: TBH, I just love listening to Laura Bailey's voice. She is one of the best voice actors I have ever heard. I had saved the Ghostblade from Persephone's earlier visit with The Pale Lady. I am glad I kept it. I was originally going to give Serana an ebony sword, but then I saw the Ghostblade, and it just seemed perfect. I was wondering if I would see the Headless Horseman this playthrough, and then there he was! It is the little things like him that I love about Bethesda games. Broken Oar GrottoSprayWho's hungry?ShadowgreenPumpkin Spice SprigganSneakingFlagmanSwimming with SeranaIce and Lightning Believe it or not, I remember Broken Oar Grotto! I just can't remember why I remember it, This is such a great shot, because you can never see it as a whole like this when you are going through it, just what is immediately in front of you! Ooh, Spray is a beautiful shot! Love that blue color! Would hate to be on the receiving end of that look Persephone is giving, lol. Oh, she has two children now? Awesome !!! Shadowgreen is stunning! What a spectacular shot! OH! Now I see how Renee guessed the "Where am I?" Oooh, I see a trunk! There is something good in it, I'm sure of it! I love this shot, this is gameplay at its best! Flagman could almost be an Easter Egg, great find! "Swimming with Serana" is probably my favorite shot - I noticed in all these shots with Serana that she seems to be looking at Persephone and in several of them she is reaching a hand out toward Persephone (or so it appears). It really makes it look like they are companions in a much closer bond than "follower" entails. Really great shots, all of them with Serana, but this one in particular stands out because she is both turned toward Persephone and reaching for her - and Persephone's blue eyes bring the shot up to the next level! Awesome shot! Ooh, Serana has some wicked spells I didn't know about! Good shot of her! Awesome shots !!! This post has been edited by mALX: Nov 2 2016, 08:38 PM

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Oct 30 2016, 08:57 PM) Lopov: I noticed the whole eye thing that Persephone, Serana, and Dexion all had going on. Everyone has to be unique! Well to be fair, Dexy was not blind yet when he read the scroll. I think it is the second scroll he reads that makes him temporarily blind for the first time. I have not gotten that far yet. That is the spriggan's natural color. It is one of those added by Dawnguard I think. It is not the Earth Mother, since that is purple I think. It must be the other one, I think the Spriggan Matron. Serana was actually swimming in that pic. P&S were swimming around in the grotto underneath Robber's Cove. Apparently they over did it, because even after they got on dry land, Serana insisted on continuing to swim about 15 feet up in the air! That shipwreck that Persephone was sneaking up on at night was the one on the north coast of Solitude Hold - Orphan's Tear. Acadian: They probably did take their cues for Serana from the modding community. A lot of mods from one game wind up being regular features in later games. Like plants disappearing after you pick them. Broken Oar was technically on P&S's path. They passed it on the way back to Castle Volkihar. But more importantly Sorine Jurard sent them there on one of the missions for her crossbow upgrades. She has an awful lot of those! I love Shadowgreen. Especially since Persephone has a Kyne's Peace spell, so she does not have to kill all the animals within. Flagman might be Captain America Tamriel. But I could be wrong. I can definitely see Persephone is definitely an Avenger. Not needing to breathe makes it so much easier to get down into those shipwrecks. Especially that big one one between Dawnstar and Winterhold. Pilgrim's Trench I think it is called. I forgot to mention before that Serana does not resurrect chickens in my game. I am using the Sneaky Serana mod, that has an option to turn off her reanimating. I also tweaked her a lot myself, and added some new spells to her arsenal. Right now she doesn't have any summoning or reanimating. But now that we have left the Soul Cairn, I am tempted to give her a Summon Boneman or Summon Wrathman spell as well. Either would be unique, so I would not mistake them for one of Persephone's pals, or regular undead monsters. Or she leaves her soul to travel to that place to get something, but I can't remember what. The spell in "Red Handed" looks great; and Persephone's hair looks Awesome! Wrathman looks like one of those ads where everything is monochrome and one thing has color so it stands out and draws the eye, lol. Oh yeah, she is in that souls place! This place gave me the creeps! (I never got this far in the quest; but saw vids of it and got the creeps from just watching! ) Oh, I thought she had to go there without Serana! But there she is! Ooh, did she get that ghost horse? Well...he does look pretty frightening! Both the Reaper and Creeper Keeper!!!! Urk !!! Chillin' is cute !!! Hey, who is watching her children while she is in Coldharbour? "Er ... Mother, what cold eyes you have ... " "Taking Sides" - gotta love that both Persephone and Serana are standing in the exact same pose and kind of passing a look between them, This is my favorite shot of this set!!! Oh crap, that dragon is huge! And probably undead! "Slugging it out" is just plain bone chilling !!! Second favorite shot, that is awesome you were able to capture that !!! "Durnehviir" - now is this the dragon you get to summon after the quest is over? Awesome shots !!! Great shot! But the truth is, I have never seen Serana have so many shots with her head turned toward the player! Because I have seen so many screens of her facing forward - never facing toward the Player like she has in all your screens - it gives the feeling that there was a connection between them. I don't know if you just happened to capture it at the right moment, or what - but absolutely LOVED all the ones of Persephone and Serana together. This felt like bonded friendship or even closer all the way through these pictures of them together. Awesome shots !!! "Air Support" - Yeah, that is Awesome shot, love that sky! Bwaahaa, "Bad day," lol. Wow, that guard and guy at the counter are just standing by doing nothing while she impales the guy right in front of them? What???? Very cool shot! Urk, is that a centurian? Can't tell from that angle, lol. Oh yeah, a movie promo or a book cover !!!! Awesome Shots !!!!

Lopov: With all the vampire armor I have picked up doing the DG questline, I could not resist a side by side comparison of D&S. It turns out Durnehviir summons Bonemen and Wrathmen! That was a big surprise when Persephone called him in at Valtheim Towers for some tac air support. Persephone did save Margaret in time. It was a one shot kill straight out of the gate. Weylin never even saw what killed him. ghastley: I have the Dawnguard talk disabled, so I have never had that problem when entering Markarth. I do get the impression that Weylin is "supposed" to kill Margaret though. Acadian: I am liking calling Durn in for close air support while outdoors. But his drab green skin could use some improvement. I think I am going to look for some retextures. mALX: I checked, and I do have a mod that allows you to buy Breezehome without doing the Main Quest. It is a nice little house. One of my favorite vanilla ones. The Holy Cow pic is from the place where you rescue Dexion. The vampires are holding inside some kind of forcefield within those glowing standing stones. Serana somehow glitched herself up in the sky. She and Persephone were swimming around in the grotto beneath Robber's Gorge, and Serana kept on swimming even when they went back on land. She kept doing that until I saved and reloaded. I am using a mod that cleans up Fort Dawnguard. It makes it much better looking. Descent is in Valerica's study, where you enter the portal to the Soul Cairn. The Soul Cairn is a neat place. It has a really blighted, cursed look. Durnehviir is the undead dragon you fight for the Elder Scroll in the Soul Cairn. After you defeat him, he talks to you, and lets you summon him back in Tamriel. That is a Dwemer Steam Centurion in that Downfall shot. Persephone and company killed it on a walkway in Nchuand-Zel (the dwarven ruin inside Markarth), and it went flying off. As soon as I saw P&S locate Arvak’s skull in one or your recent sets I had visions of Ghost Riders. Woot! So cool to see Persephone using a bound bow. Did you know I’m rather fond of conjured bows? Mazultoft! Darryl’s brother Ulfar looks great dueling with the steampunk metalhead. I hope after that centurian fell, the girls picked up Grimsever for dear Mjoll (if they hadn’t already). Luvs that dungeon! Plenty of wide open space for a sneaky archer. Great to see Durnie in action again. Ancestor Glade is such a pretty place! Persephone’s new armor looks good!

Lopov: Serana will be earning the other keep soon too! That low arrow of Persephone's as actually in the leg. But a little too high to turn that bandit into a guard... Serana is riding Arvak. I use a mod that changes his textures to an ice theme. Serana's fiery horse is provided by Convenient Horses. You can set it to automatically give your followers horses when you mount up yourself. The shield is from Skyforge Shields. I think it has been taken down from the Nexus though. Acadian: Arvak is my favorite horse in the Elder Scrolls games. Because you can summon him up when you want him, and he disappears when you don't need him. Persephone found a Bound Bow spell tome in some random loot. So she decided to use it to get the spell and start using it for long distance sniping. So far it is has come in handy. But without any perks in the archery skill, it is still mostly something to play with. P&S did pick up Grimsever while they were at Mizzenmast. I was not expecting it to be there, as Persephone had not talked to Mjoll about recovering it. I thought it would only spawn there if you started Mjoll's quest. ghastley: I did not even see that Vale Cat at first. It is a good thing I did not just step into the passage. I decided to take a picture first, and I was setting up the shot that is when I noticed the eyes, and then the rest of the cat. haute ecole rider: Persephone has a lot of red in her pics because of the Absorb Health effect on her sword, and her Absorb Health spells. I liked how that contrasted with the brilliant white of the waterfall behind her as well. Lopov: The Dark Passage was only that bright in a few areas! I found myself using Night Eye more than once to see. I love the glowing mushrooms and plant life. Thankfully they are not caused by radiation! Hair from mods often disappears in Bethesda games when you do the right (or wrong) things. In that case it was because I was looking at Persephone through the body of the ghost. I usually see it when my character swims underwater in third person, and the camera is still above the water. Again, seeing it through the water like that makes the hair vanish and they appear bald. That happened as far back as Morrowind. The Forgotten Vale is one of my absolute favorite places in all the ES games. It has a stark beauty. Magnificent Desolation, as Buzz Aldrin described the Moon. It is the kind of place Persephone could retreat to for a thousand years, to escape from the rest of the world. Acadian: The only character of mine who had a problem with Serana was Revansch. But that was because Revansch had been tortured and killed by vampires and then rose from the dead to take vengeance upon them. That does not work at all with the Dawnguard questline. Since then I have approached it with characters who possess less vitriol for vampires. Thanks to that, they have all gotten along with Serana just fine. Persephone has the strongest bond with her by far, thanks to also being undead. Serana is like a sister, just like Sigrun. So much ice and cold! Nice that neither P nor S require a toe ring of resist frost. Deadwalkers is such a beautiful shot of Red Eyes and Blue Eyes. And. . . Army of the Dead is a fabulous shot of Red Eyes and Silver Eyes. Love that moment when Serana picks up VampGeek by the throat to choke him out! Makes ya just wanna cheer!

Actually I think it suits her the best of all possible locations in Skyrim. She would fit on Solstheim too, especially in Castle Karstaag. Great screenies of the Glacial Passage and the fiery Moon over the Auriel's Sanctum. Wow! Deadwalkers know how to look straight in the camera. The Army of the Dead pwned Vyrthur! And brought some light to the throne in the process. I really don't recall anymore what happens with Vyrthur at the very end. Do you kill him or does he stay alive?
