Grits: Her frost resistance is nothing compared to her 90% fire resistance, from her Dunmer blood, and a necklace of 40% fire resistance. Only lightning can really hurt Bendis. Acadian: That mod that makes Azura's statue viewable from a distance is one of the best I have downloaded. Not only does it look marvelous, but it also makes navigating around that part of the map much easier. You just have to look to Azura to know the way to go. King Coin: From a purely nuts and bolts perspective, Windhelm is one of the best cities to base a character in. There are three general merchants, a smithy, an alchemist, a court wizard, and a food seller. Most are all clustered together in the market district, and outdoors. The latter is nice, because you do not have to go in and out of a lot of buildings to go from one to another. Niranye even has an arcane enchanter behind her stall, so you do not have to go to all the way to the palace to use the court wizard's. I downloaded the scenic carriages mod, that allows you to actually ride in the carriages between citiesBendis cleans up the last Dark Brotherhood blood from her blade. King Coin: You do not get attacked while you are in the carriage. So somehow it makes everything non-aggressive. However, no one moves out of the way of it either, and when the carriage plows into someone, they go flying! Or get squished. The only way to wipe out the DB is to start the DB questline, by talking to Aventus Aretino in Windhelm and doing a job for him first. Bendis got ticked when a DB assassin tried to kill her, so she decided to get some payback by wiping them out. Grits: That stained glass window in the DB Sanctuary was just too cool looking to pass up taking a pic in front of it. Like you said, what better than to clean her sword in front of it to show a job well done? Can Niv sleep in Sadri's house? I did not think you could do that without mods. Acadian: You can take out most of the Dark Brotherhood. There are only two characters you cannot get to (I don't want to give away spoilers). It is nice though, given that their assassins tend to always come after you, they give you the chance to get some payback. I just wish you could do the same with the Thieves Guild and Raven Black-Brian. It would be nice to play a law-and-order type character and clean up Riften. Bendis was getting stale. I tried doing the main quest with her, but just could not get very far. So I started a character who has been kicking around in my head for a while. Yep, Niv did a favor for Sadri, so now she’s welcome in his house. Including the bed. Of course she got his pickpocketed key taken away by some guard, so now she has to break in every night. A lot of NPCs will let you take inexpensive stuff and sleep in their homes if they like you. Jensa crashed at the boss’ place plenty of times during her Stormcloak days, and I’m still not sure how Achille got access to Mikael’s bed at the Bannered Mare. Most places have safe containers, so there are a lot of options for the vagabond. Big D was my pioneer in this area, until he met Sylgja. Shouts as spells is such a great idea! I could do that as an imaginary “mod,” just pretend that Shouts like Aura Whisper and Kyne’s Peace are spells for my non-Dragonborn mages! Denelle has a ton of dragon souls, since we don’t unlock the occasional Words she finds. This is going to be great!! Thank you, SubRosa!! Shakti looks awesome! I love her coloring and facial markings. I think Slayage is my favorite for her ears-pinned fight expression. Drumsong is a another favorite, though. So peaceful. I really enjoyed these screenshots!

liliandra nadiar: I take them all as far as they go. *shrug smiley* Some character's stories last longer than others. Some just unfortunately get all that they want too quickly, and have no more reason to keep risking their lives. And some just get so powerful, that playing them is just boring. King Coin: I figured you would appreciate seeing another Khajiit. I think I have now played every race in the game at least once. So far I have converted Unrelenting Force, Kyne's Peace, Animal Allegiance, and Clear Skies. I also just did Aura Whisper and Elemental Fury, but have not tested them out yet (so there is probably still more tweaking to do on those.). It is a lot more work than I first expected. The trouble is that being shouts, there are no regular spell visual and audio effects for any of them. So that all has to be added in manually. And there are over a dozen different variables with those. The drumming pic is from Puppeteer Master. It has a lot of poses, including all the ones for playing musical instruments. I tried a mod that lets you play instruments and even use them as weapons, but it CTDs whenever I try to start the game. Grits: My characters do favors for NPCs all the time, but I have never thought to see what that would get me from them. They just spend the night at the local inn, etc... instead of breaking into someone's house to sleep there. I guess I am too used to Oblivion, where you cannot wait or sleep when you are trespassing, and everyone immediately calls for the law as soon as you step in their door. In a bad moodA cat and her rat armyShakti does her first big job for the Thieves Guild. She has to break into Goldenglow Estate, steal the contents of the safe, and burn 3 of the bee hives.

Another aquatic kitty! So that’s what’s on that island. Strangely enough, Aravi’s never gone there. Lol! Apple pie, some drums and a flute! Some of those cheese wheels make food that is very useful for magic users. Aravi makes stews and soups when she can. Nice taking out that guard with a Khajiit’s natural weapons. Hard to tell which torches can be taken and which cannot. Why not use the nighteye? Oh I see, the torch was for the hives. Snatched a salmon on the escape! I like the rat army screen shot. She looks like she's wearing the foot wraps in that one.

I’m with Grits in really liking this kitty’s facial markings – the tabby ‘M’ works in and extends down below her eyes so nicely! If she’s going to be modest and swim in her armor, she needs a converted whisper (certainly called desert breeze) to magically dry her gear out when she climbs out of the water. Or perhaps just shuck her duds around water the way woodsters do. I see that like all SubRosa trademarked characters, this one is a grasshopper, bouncing from rock to rock. Oooh, a TG quest. . . *quietly singing ‘Khajiit like to sneak’* Hee: stealing cheese to catch some mousey snacks, I’ll bet. During my recent travels, my son showed me how lock picking works in Skyrim, so I was able to easily follow exactly how your lockpick pro mod helps. Like you, I’m underwhelmed by the whole Thu’um shouting at your foes stuff – unless you’re a gray-bearded Nord. Or a dragon. I like the change you made to render the effects as spells. Neat how Shakti was able to flame the bee hives with a torch.

King Coin: That is the first time any of my characters have ever been on that island too. I think that it is normally inaccessible. At least by the bridge from the mainland. Shakti picked up the Gloves of the Pugilist from one of the thugs in the Ratway when she joined the TG. That made her unarmed attacks much more deadly than using a weapon when she was at lower levels. She wears the foot wraps a lot, to be quieter. Grits: I just loved the idea of a cat with a rat army. Shakti was a fun character to play, precisely because of what you said about what she considered loot-worthy. She loves music, so she always takes any instrument she sees. Same with Eidar Cheese (not goat cheese though *blech* she says). And what cat could pass up a fish to go with that cheese and wine celebration afterward? Acadian: Those facial markings are actually considered war paint by the game. I think of them as natural coloration though. I have found that a lot of the spells that did not make it to Skyrim are actually shouts. Things like Detect Life, etc... But you can only get the shouts by following the Main Quest, at least in part. So making them spells is my way of putting them back in the game for non-MQ characters, which are pretty much all of mine. Shakti is now Batman. Erm, Catwoman?Three NightingalesWith Shakti becoming a Nightingale and returning the Skeleton Key to its resting place, her story is done. Meet my new wood elf, HesperiaHaving lunch with a sprigganAnd some water to wash it downAs with all new characters, the eternal question of "what to wear" arises. I am not sure I want to keep using the green variant of the Triss armor from the last two pics. She might go with the short-sleeved furOr the long-sleeved furThe leather just does not seem quite rightI think she looks good in this modded variant of the Nord Hero armorBut maybe with hide boots instead. This post has been edited by SubRosa: Aug 26 2012, 12:09 AM

A Khajiit? A thief? Definitely cat woman! As usual, you did an excellent job on creating Hesperia. Looks like you started her out with some conjuration skill. I do like the way the Triss armor looks. I wonder how Aravi would look in it? Nord Hero looks nice, and the hide boot substitution was definitely a plus, but Triss looks most natural on a wood elf in my opinion.
