Grits: That is the priest mask that doubles magicka regen rate alright. It is from the end of the Mages College quest. Are you still playing Hale? If so, I think we need to have a fashion intervention! The bone dragon was a real eye-opener! Aela is my first character to finish the College of Winterhold questline. So that was a surprise. He went down awful easy though. King Coin: I thought the same thing about the woman Aela is following! I think someone stole her sweetroll... That is Aela's absorb spell, not the draugr's. I created a mod a long while back that added Absorb Health spells to the game. It was more complicated than I expected, because for some reason the absorb effect will not level your skills. So what I had to do a little sleight of hand with the game. I made the Absorb effect cost nothing, then created a new effect I called Damage Health. Rather than using an absorb, it is a straight value modifier, like other damaging spells. I made the cost for that really high. Then I added 1 point of that Damage Health effect to every Absorb spell. Because it has the highest cost, the game uses that to determine skill leveling, rather than the absorb effect. Acadian: The Dwemer are basically an excuse to add Steampunk elements into the ES games are they not? Some of their stuff does look really neat. Aela likes her new staff much better than the one she was born with! This one is the reward for the Mages Guild questline. It absorbs 20 points of magicka, and if the target is out of magicka, it absorbs health instead. So you can blast away with a spell in one hand, and use the staff in the other to recharge your magicka from your enemy's own blue. Technically her boots came from Solstheim. The Waterwalking effect was added by the Dragonborn dlc, which takes place there. I made a mod a few days ago to add some pairs to regular Skyrim. That guy behind Aela is Tolfdir. He's one of the College professors, and is your basic absentminded wizard. So with the faeries is right! Oh how I’ve missed Waterwalking! I love that shot with the assassin!! Wow, Aela’s Ward came in handy inside Azura’s Star I imagine. I’m amazed by how the vanilla game makes that shrine just about invisible. I’ve only had one character stumble upon it, and they all walk right by at some point or another. How fun to follow Aela’s adventures in pictures. Is Aranea going to tag along for a while?

Great to see more of Hrafngoelir! That’s a neat pose at the Talos shrine. I never noticed that the Talos symbol looks like an axe. I just love Hrafn’s new carved Nordic outfit! As great as it looks on men, I think it looks even better on women. That picture with the Stormcloaks is my favorite. And that is a beautiful shield! Who is that on the table? Is that the guy who owns Hollyfrost Farm outside the city! Someone ordered a head on a platter, and he got confused!

Acadian: I am sure I will pick up Aela (or would that be A4? ) in Skyrim again. Or in Oblivion! Hrafn is going to kill everyone who gets in the way of finding her mother! Grits: That is the Hollyfrost Farm guy on the table! Honest work, but a bit dull. I guess dancing on the Jarl's table is how Skyrim farmers loosen up after a hard day at the plow! I am really liking the Carved Nordic Armor. The Nordic shield is a little over the top though. That is why I went to an alternate from the Skyforged Shields mod. It only has two basic textures, with the color changing according to the type of material it is made from. That is the Heavy Steel version. I always thought the Talos symbol was a sword hilt, pointed down. The horizontal part is the crossbar, above it is the grip, then the two arches are the same as an antennae style pommel the Celts used to love. It always makes me think of the West Coast Choppers German cross. The Battle of WhiterunI think Ralof looks better with the guard helmet, rather than a Hide Helmet (though of course I have an open helmet mod)Liberating Solitude is hard enough, without Jaree trying to recruit Hrafn to help him plunder a ship! After the war, Hrafn hooked up with RalofHrafn is my first character to ever get marriedThis post has been edited by SubRosa: Apr 16 2013, 04:39 AM

I always thought the Talos symbol was a downward-pointing sword, but now I see a symmetrical axe blade shape as the crossguard. Neat. Congratulations to the happy couple! Hrafn looks beautiful in her wedding gown, and I love the way Ralof’s armor matches. Did they propose at the Talos shrine? That open steel plate helm looks great! The Battle for Whiterun always makes me sad. Thankfully there aren’t any civilians about unlike in Solitude where apparently the scum never stops recruiting. That picture with Jaree-Ra is hilarious! Lol, Acadian’s comment makes me wonder if Hrafn will indeed retire to the life of a guard!

Acadian: Perhaps Hrafn is a WereBear? That arrow looks a little bit below her knee, so I don't think Hrafn will be joining Hitler You had me laughing my cubs off at the last part! Grits: I never noticed that the red from Ralof's plate matched the red in Hrafn's wedding dress! Now that was a some nice synergy. Where else would two Stormcloaks propose, but in the sight of Mighty Talos! It's too bad Heimskr could not have performed the ceremony! That would have been hilarious! Ja-Ree was not the only civilian wandering around the streets of Solitude. The old guy who says "Being old's not so bad." was there too. In fact, he was standing right behind one of the barricades that Hrafn had to hack down to get to Castle Dour. Naturally she hit him by accident. Then Ulfric tried to arrest Hrafn for assault... I just love this game sometimes. The Wolves of SkyrimThe horny toads sure grow big around these parts...Squaring off with an Ash SpawnMove over Ted Nugent, Hrafn is the Whackmaster! The Dunmer tombs are creepy places.

Beautiful shot of Hrafn Ice-Bear with her new metal bear helm, the ice flows and wolf. The wolf looks about as well-fed as some of the coyotes out here in my high desert. Overall, a gorgeous screenshot! Yay, a silt strider! (Don’t tease me if I’m wrong ) Nice shot of Hrafn’s armor, shield, axe and bear helm as she fights that’s that red-eyed dude. I really like how you can see the scar below our whackmistress’ left eye! Can she hear the bonz like her crazy ancestor Jayred Ice-Veins (of the Shivering Isles)?

Is Frea going to follow Hrafn? I think she must have new follower dialog, since she has a unique voice. Love the silt strider, and that’s such a great view of her. I pretty much lost my mind over Solstheim. Wow, Night Elves remind me of the violet Dunmer in Oblivion. I like her white tattoos. Ivy really rocks that Forsworn outfit! It looks great on her! Very nice. Poison spells and the name Ivy along with that headdress somehow fit.

Acadian: Maybe one day Buffy will decide to visit Morrowind, or Solstheim, and then you will have Silt Striders. They are amazing critters. Belladonna was too cold in that outfit. So I decided to play Ivy instead. Envy and all... Grits: I do not like Frea's voice. It puts me on edge. So I won't be using her as a follower. Not that I really like followers much anyway. I am just too accustomed to what a pain in the rear they are in Oblivion to ever warm up to them. Solstheim did not do much for me. The weather is all bleah all the time, and the place itself is very small. But the way you cannot sleep unless you complete the main quest is what really bugged me the most. I doubt any of my characters will spend much time there. Ivy, her green skin, the poison spells, and that Forsworn outfit do all come together nicely. That is why I decided to start playing her for a while. I also noticed that sometimes when she mines ore, you can get a little view down her backside - if the camera is just right. Ivy puts some poison on an orcStaff in one hand, healing spell in the other. This was a close fight.Going for a swimHere is Asgeir, who will appear in the upcoming Aela FicAsgeir is one of those naked Nord typesElenarie will also appear in the Aela Fic (she was my old character Artemisia)Elenarie has a different bow than Artemisia didFinally, I have been spending some time with my old friend Lara (she could put someone's eye out with those!)This post has been edited by SubRosa: Apr 30 2013, 06:35 PM

Love the colors you’re using for Ivy and her poison! Dual wielding staff and spell! Very nice loin-kini she’s got. Asgeir is a hunka hunka burnin’ Nord! Great to see Elenarie (Artemisia). You’re right, she’s got a big girl bow now! Speaking of big. . . thanks for the Lara eyes and sharp objects warning!
