Hello everyone!
This is a journal for my Skyrim character, Sherryl. But before I post I have a few words:
Lissa is STILL my main priority, but I just couldn't resist the urge to write some of this journal!

And seeing as this is set 200 years after Lissa, there may be information about Lissa's story in this one that nobody has read in Lissa's story yet, but don't worry, I won't post ANY spoilers

also, I'm still working on reading through alot of the other stories on this forum, but again, I couldnt resist the urge to write a part of this Journal.

INTRODUCTIONEverything was quiet in Anvil; nothing out of the ordinary. I’d always found myself wondering about how the war had caused less people to travel to the coastal city. Almost all the Imperials in the city had fled elsewhere. Anvil was practically a ghost town, which sucked. The only thing that kept me going insane with boredom was the letters from my pen pal.
I was sat in my house, at my desk, quill in one hand with a piece of paper on the table.
“Dearest Ria...” I wrote. My mind went blank. I never usually had this much trouble writing a letter to my cousin. I laid back in my chair, arms folded and biting the tip of my thumb in thought. I decided to re-read the letter I was replying to, hoping it would spark an idea of what I could write.
I reached for Ria’s letter and read it out loud; a little habit I had which made me less than popular in the Mage’s Guild library.
“
Dear Sherryl,
I am sorry to hear about the current state Anvil in is, sound harsh! BUT all hope is not lost for you, cousin! I couldn’t help but remember that a few letters ago you told me of your craving for adventure?
Well, I have some news! My family, The Companions, are recruiting new members! They are rather like the Fighter’s guild, but are a lot smaller but a LOT tighter. I may not be able to promise you will rank higher than a whelp, but I CAN promise you adventure! And lots of it!
Think about it?
Your cousin, Ria.”
What Ria was offering me was huge; maybe even life changing. I didn’t know what to do. Do I leave my home and my life to try and make myself a better one? Or do I stay in Anvil until the day I die, either by the war or a brick to the head due to the crumbling state of my beloved Chapel of Dibella... okay, that was irrelevant, but still; whatever I was to choose would mean my life would take a specific path. A path that would eventually lead to my destiny; whatever that may be.
No, the decision had to be made. I had to go with my heart this time.
I mean, who am I to turn down the chance for a great adventure? The chance to explore a whole new province in the land of Skyrim? Who was I to deny myself the chance of a better life?
I’m a Cristenn, that’s who!
