So Aravi is now a Companion! It was very neat as you panned the camera around during her ceremony. Also nice that Farkas spoke for her.

It felt so good to see her back with Kharjkat!

I loved their road trip and the wonderful little things you showed us. Orc tossing, the Khajiit races, a waterfall and. . . spiders. You really show Aravi’s fear of them effectively.

During the last scene, your ‘camera work’ of panning out and around to show some of that beautiful high scenery was, once again, wonderful.

@mALX: I enjoyed the ceremony too. It suited Aravi. Short and quick.

Aravi lost her temper with the orc. His death is something that she regrets, though the way he attacked Kharjo makes her feel less badly. Thanks mALX!

The fight on the road wasn't really intended. She lost her temper and hit him. Well, he drew a weapon and that was that. Aravi tried to keep him alive but after he bashed Kharjo in the head, she wasn't as willing. Nilheim! I forgot what the place was called. That place is beautiful. Aravi and Kharjo stayed there for the night. Thanks Grits!

@SubRosa: "Big swords and little swords? Were they talking about weapons, or their privates?" Maybe both?

Aravi's learned to keep her temper in check. The orc was rude, but he didn't need to die. Aravi will not close in on a spider! Kharjo can squish them if she can't shoot them before they get close. Thanks SubRosa!

@Acadian: I love that little ceremony! Aravi likes Farkas when he's not turning into things, but nobody can replace Kharjo! I like to show scenery, so sometimes I go overboard on it. Glad you liked it though. Thanks Acadian!

Here's what I've been working on for the past couple of days. A feature to my mod to send your companions to collect ingredients for you. I'll be adding more things for them to do too.

Very neat! This reminds me of how you could have Dogmeat go find things for you in FO3. Will the follower come back to you eventually? Or do you have to keep them in sight, so they do not just wander off picking ingredients forever?

I did not know you could have multiple followers? Is it because Lydia is a housecarl, and Kharjo basically a mercenary? I know the game does make distinctions between them, as well as with animal followers.

Is that a new font you have in your user interface? I don't remember seeing it before. I am using the optional Celtic font that came with SkyUI.

They'll go forever, so it's wise to keep them in sight. They have trouble in rough terrain and around water, but otherwise they do pretty well. I'm actually surprised how much stuff they get in their inventory.

I have a mod running that allows for multiple followers. I don't use more than one, but I ended up installing it because there were so many requests for my mod to handle multiple followers.

The font is default SkyUI, so what ever that ships with.

That mod is neat. The main thing I’m sure is that now your followers can get some rest and relax some. Lydia really did collect a lot of stuff for Aravi while Kharjo had her back. Maybe now, I trust, Aravi will take them someplace warm?

From a nice, relaxing swim, to orcs in a tower. She never should have went there... Bandit Outlaws no less. I wonder why there are no Bandit In-Laws? I guess no one wants to marry one.

That dragon tomb looked different from the others. It had a depression in it. Does that mean the dragon in it got resurrected by Alduin?

I see the gate guard tried to shake Aravi down too. I think that the top persuade option always works, no matter what your speech skill is. I have done it with some pretty low-skilled characters.

Hey, and there's Darth Maul just inside the gate. My first character to go to Riften was Scylla, and talking to him made her want to start killing Black-Briars on sight. That Brynjolf guy too. It annoys to me to no end that they don't give you an option to tell him to get stuffed, or beat the crap out of him (without going to jail).

Where all the lowlifes get drunk and knife each other. Sounds like a great place!

Alright, Aravi got one of the special drinks! I loved the names and descriptions of all of them.

Vid 1. Loved the scenery. You can see the wheels turning in Aravi’s head as she sorts out the best way to cross that river. Glad to see her getting comfortable enough with the Khajiit who guards her back to just drop her duds and swim across. Using unrelenting force to ‘blow away’ that baddie atop the fort was brilliant! Welcome to Riften; must pay visitors tax!

Vid 2. Wow, Riften is a hard town! The only bright side are the two delightful Argonauts she met. I’m with SubRosa - those drink names/descriptions were cool as can be. I’m glad Aravi gave that first buffoon who wanted her to steal a ring the old head shake. Then I was glad to see her offer to help a lizard in love.

ROFL !! Aravi blowing that guy off the roof had me in hysterics !!! Riften is not the friendliest town around, lol. It kind of reminded me of Bravil, but on Skooma. I am dying to see what all Aravi does there, I think I did more in Riften than anywhere else, not all of it good though, lol. Great Vids !!

I love the flower picking for followers. What a huge help they can be instead of just standing around yawning. For a second I thought Lydia was going to start swatting butterflies. She really got a lot of stuff!

It’s great that Aravi is getting comfortable enough to swim around Kharjo. Especially since he really was watching her back.

Oh, nice Shout off the tower! What a view. That’s a great spot for a picnic, especially since there were no bodies cluttering up the place.

It was so beautiful all around Riften, and then so unfriendly once they got there. Brynjolf comes across as such a condescending jerk. It’s hard to believe someone hasn’t taken his head off his shoulders.

Wait, where did Kharjo go? As rude as everyone was and after the comment about lowlifes knifing each other, I can see why Aravi went to bed armed and clothed. I'm glad she chatted with Talen-Jei. My favorite people in Riften mostly have tails.

@Acadian: Skyrim’s very pretty! I’ve had to cut out a lot of pretty scenery, otherwise we wouldn’t go anywhere. The Argonains are the best people in that town. Riften kind of reminds me of Bravil, and I think the feel of the town is what Bravil should have been. Thanks Acadian!

@mALX: Glad I’m not the only one that thinks of Bravil. Aravi’s stay in Riften is pretty brief. She stayed the night and then this new video is what takes place in the morning. Thanks mALX!

@Grits: They won’t go after bugs with this AI package, but I’ve noticed them going after fish…

I’m sure Kharjo was watching her back. Closely. Lol. Aravi hasn’t had to shout someone off of a tower to win a fight yet, but with previous characters I’ve had to resort to that in order to win. I love the Rift, but I hate Riften. That place is not very pleasant. I think the only town Aravi was less comfortable in was Windhelm. Thanks Grits!

The first things Aravi finds in the ratway are an axe and a skull. Not promising.

I love the conversation. "This far? We're living in a sewer!"

Mr. Fist did not last any longer then the other ones.

I was expecting there to be a head in that basket Aravi found, next to the bloody tree stump.

The Man says people tend to get hurt in the Ratway? Looks like people tend to get killed when they mess with Aravi!

So Esbern is further down the rabbithole? And it sounds like the Altmer are after him as well.

That sewer/dungeon is wonderfully atmospheric – you can almost. . . smell it.

I was pleased to see Kharjo hop right off that high ledge after Aravi; that leap would have sent an Oblivion follower into a frantically sprinting case of helplessness.

I both hated and loved the Rat-Away, had some FRAPS issues in it. LOVED getting the "Gloves of the Pugilist!" They really come in handy when you are toughing people up, ROFL !!!

I never saw those bear-traps in there (didn't use a light source), but sure felt them! Thanks to Aravi I now know they are there for the next time, lol.


I got a kick out of that guy being just a "low life," lol. I guess it could have been worse, "low life scum" or something, lol.

Even with Aravi's shedding light on everything, it was still pretty dark, lol. Still, loved this Awesome Vid !!

@SubRosa: Ax and skull, what a pleasant greeting to the Ratway. The conversation was pretty funny, between the first two guys. I like those conversations you overhear in Skyrim. Aravi was really expecting a head in the basket too. She was hesitant to look. Thanks SubRosa!

@Acadian: I hope you couldn’t smell it. I’m sure Aravi’s going to be very happy to get out of there though. I was surprised Kharjo hopped right down too. I was getting ready to use console commands to bring him down, but it was unnecessary. Thanks Acadian!

@mALX: Fraps behaved when Aravi was in there. I think Aravi broke down the Gloves so she could learn the enchantment. Aravi was lucky, she didn’t see the traps while fighting, but didn’t go over any. That was pretty funny seeing that guy just labeled ‘low life.’ They couldn’t even call him criminal or something. Thanks mALX!
