I hate those frost trolls !!! Kharjo has them under control with that staff of frost, he is Awesome with that thing! It was too dark to see Aravi (for me) when you freed the camera up and went around to her face, but after she shouted I was able to see the area a little better, lol. Great vid !!!

That frost troll had a nice little ice cave. Oops, outside it looked like Kharjo gave Aravi a few sparks from his staff, but she didn’t take any damage.

That was a very dark, snowy night! I kept scanning the horizon for a sleeping dragon shape! I guess the one who lived there is the one that attacked them earlier. Ugh, a pile of bones. That place has creepy sacrifices written all over it.

Very pretty at the end with the aurora and moon, after Aravi cleared the skies. Kharjo seemed quite protective in this episode, the way he followed so closely and ran in front with the staves. What a fun (troll exterminating ) stroll up the mountain.

That was some headshake by Aravi at the start! She does not like the cave? I think it is pretty. Well, except for the skeletons, and frost troll of course...

Whoa, Kharjo really did a number on that troll with those staves. Aravi set it up, and he knocked it down.

Another troll outside. Those frost trolls can sure take a beating! I too thought that Kharjo blasted Aravi a few times in the back. Good thing she did not take any damage.

Eldersblood Peak? There should be a dragon up there. Unless that was the one Aravi killed just before. Must have been.

Indulging Curiosity.

What a beautiful spooky cave! Trapped! Sild spent more time threatening Avavi than he did dying. Was he a wimp or Aravi just that full of awesomesauce? Probably both, I reckon.

Outside the cave, I perked my ears to pick up any wolf noises. Then a dragon flew across the moon! Wow, that was cool! I loved how she gave that fire throwing skellie an extra whack for surprising and interrupting her dragon huntin’!

Fight’s on! That dragon did some serious damage to Aravi – I was nervously waiting for her to heal. Dear Kharj gave her respite to do so by taking several seconds of dragon breath – ouch.

And we end with Aravi slipping on her magical blue feet and popping into another dungeon. I love her curiosity, but I get a little nervous. . . you know, with what they say about curiosity and cats.

To the Top of the Mountain

A little waterfall! At first I thought maybe I saw steam from like a hot springs, but then realized it was (brrrr) blowing snow – no kitty bathing here. Oh, and the troll. . . .

Kharj is almost starting to look a little ‘magey’ between his cape looking a bit like a cape those dual staves. That’s good though, since between the two cats, not much gets close enough for melee.

I still love Aravi’s ‘will-o-the-wisp’ little blue light!

Oooh! Pritty sky – especially the moon right at the end.

@Grits: He zapped her several times and she was going to shoot that arrow at him! Yes, the previous dragon was the one that lived at that peak. I wasn’t sure if Clear the Skies actually worked for normal weather or not. Aravi didn’t feel protected after he zapped her in the back several times. Lol. Thanks Grits!

@SubRosa: The cave was unexpectedly bright when she entered it. She was tempted to take the staffs away after he blasted her several times with the lightning one. Yep, it was that last dragon. Thanks SubRosa!

@Acadian: Is Aravi awesome? How is that even a question? I loved seeing that dragon fly across the moon, took bad it took exception to Aravi’s presence on its mountainside.

Definitely no bathing in this area, not with the cold or trolls. I try to make use of that little light where I can, but Aravi’s night vision is just better. Glad you enjoyed its use here though. Thanks Acadian!

It was very hard to like any screen better than the hot springs one, but I absolutely LOVE the Archery screen best - Love Aravi's expression, the background bright colored grass against the muted blue of the mountains in the backdrop - AWESOME SCREEN !!!!! They are all great shots, but that one knocked me out !!!

In that first pic, Kharjo has this look on his face that says: "This one is going to marry that one someday."

Aravi looks happy in the archery pic. Kind of a creepy happy, but happy!

Yup, I like that armor Aravi’s got.

The archery shot is my fave. Leave it to Grits and I to notice her new bling (earrings). The cool expression on Aravi’s face, perfect timing right after release of her arrow, the hauntingly lit sky and clouds – just beautiful!

Who was that man standing by the fire? Did Aravi talk to him? Is Aravi getting cold now (still)? Is that why she stood by that fire? I absolutely LOVE the stamina panting breathing!

I can no longer read the place on the screen where it tells the enemy she is facing - GAAAAH !!! That was AWESOME !!! She sure showed them !!! That lady said "you're as good as dead" as Aravi was tearing her throat out, ROFL !!! What a great camera angle you got on that !!!!

URK !! She killed a poor horse !!! GAAAAH !!! She took down a Mammoth bare handed !!! This vid is AWESOME !!! GAAAAH !!! I love it !!!!!!

Holy Crap !! She just killed a Whiterun Guard !!!!!! I was surprised she ran by the hot springs instead of washing the blood off.

The end - her pulling to a stop, breathing hard, and then the other wolves howling - that couldn't have been more perfect !!! Totally Awesome Vid, this is up in my all time fave vids !!!!!

That looks like the smuggler's den next to Whiterun. I like how when you open the chest, the rest of the bandits show up. Ancasta found that if you frenzy one of them, the other bandits appear just as if you opened the chest. Then if you open the chest after they are all dead, even more appear!

Whoa, she nearly got killed by that bandit mage!

It is weird how her invisible feet still glow from the muffle spell.

Ahh, so its wolf time. I suspect Aravi may have been planning on that all along, since she did not take Kharjo with her.

I wanted to laugh when that last bandit said "Your as good as dead!" as Aravi was ripping her throat out!

Wow, she even killed a mammoth!

She's declared war upon Whiterun too!

A nice night hunt into a beautiful sunrise. Then more night hunting. I could hear your fatigue mod in Aravi’s breathing! Then she put on her blue cat feet of stalking and went up to that cave. Ouch, a bit of a retreat is in order to heal up. How neat that we can see her by those blue feet when she’s invisible!

Uh oh! Bring out the big dog! I was so afraid she was going to kill the horse that went with the bandit wagon. I was relieved that it had run off. Eeep! Poor horse. Oh noes, even the mammoth went down. Wow!

After dispatching the bandits like dog food, Aravi's killing spree that spared neither beast nor guard was sobering and really drives home the indiscriminate downside of being a werewolf. What a cool surprise as she transformed back into our kitty while running. When she stopped to contemplate things under the night sky with the backdrop of howling wolves, it was very haunting.

As ever, your composition choices of what to include and how much were spot on. Great job!

Wow, this was an awesome video! What a ride from Aravi’s solitary night hunt on the plains until sunrise, to the brush with death against the bandits, and then the werewolf going completely out of control!

That guy beside the road looked like a skooma dealer. If he was, I’m sure Aravi scared him too much for him to want to share her fire. Aravi can really move with her bow drawn, nice! That was a fun hunt.

Wow, that smuggler mage nearly ended her!! Excellent strategic repositioning. Even in such dire straits, the little glowy feet were adorable. Had Kharjo been along, I’m sure the retreat and then wolf it option would not have been on the table.

Ah, the sweet taste of bloody revenge. Oh no, horsey! Oh no, mammoth! Oh no, GUARD!!

What an awesome werewolf rampage! The beast is a real danger to Aravi, as well as to Whiterun’s finest. Did Aravi get the upper hand and run away before she killed the guards? It looked like the one she mauled had a shred of life left, and since she changed back while she was running, it made me think she might have gained some ground on the beast. That was tremendous, she sprinted until she couldn’t run another step. As Acadian said, that was a haunting moment when she looked back at Whiterun with the wolves howling.

This is a great video, definitely a favorite!!

@mALX: Grits got it, he was a skooma dealer. Aravi leaves them alone but doesn’t associate with them. Khajiit already have a bad reputation with that.

The wolf tearing out the throat is one of the ‘kill cams’ you can get in wolf form. Yeah, the wolf followed that poor horse. I totally didn’t see the mammoth or the guards though. That was kind of scary. She didn’t actually kill the guard, she sent him flying and he fell out of the tower, barely survived. The springs weren’t hot by the way. Very chilly. Glad you liked the ending, that made my day! Thanks mALX!

@SubRosa: That’s the place. Aravi’s learned that she needs to be farther away from civilization when she lets the wolf out. The way I play it, she can technically choose when and where she turns, it’s just that the longer she goes without transforming, the more she needs to transform. I also play it like the wolf is almost a totally different entity. That might be Aravi’s wolf form, but Aravi herself has very little control over it. It is a hungry beast that wants nothing more than to feed.

I did laugh when the bandit yelled. Who does she think is going to avenge her?

I had to save before the wolf launched itself at the mammoth. I had no idea how that was going to turn out. Thanks SubRosa!

@Acadian: I thought it was so cool (and cute! ) that you could see her blue feet running away.

I knew you weren’t going to like it that the wolf followed the horse, but that’s what it did when it was done eating bandits. It probably wasn’t very noticeable, but she started to turn back while she was attacking the guards, which is why she was able to pull away. I’m happy you liked the end as well. Thanks Acadian!

@Grits: I’m sure if Kharjo was with, the retreat wouldn’t have been needed. He’s that awesome! I thought the glowing feet were adorable too.

You are completely right about the wolf being totally out of control. Aravi learned something very important from this really close call. Those guards would have killed the wolf had she not started to transform back. None of the guards were killed, Aravi wouldn’t have forgiven herself if that happened. She didn’t actually gain ground as you said, she just started the process of transforming back while she was attacking. At that point, something in her mind told her that this was very wrong and she was able to tear herself away and run. I’m very happy you liked how I ended the video. Thanks Grits!

Great to see Aravi is enjoying the relative warmth of the Rift. The colors and light in these are beautiful!

Are You Ready has to be my favorite. I just love how the firelight shines on her. Hmm, still two tents I see. Kharjo is a real gentleman!

I never would have guessed that Through the Flames pic. I do love the art style of those ancient, decrepit bricks. The Midden is like that too. It gives you the impression that the place is incredibly old, and falling apart.

Maiq! I love the colors and shadows in that pic. He is a lot more interesting in Skyrim than Oblivion. He usually would not talk to my Oblivion characters at all. On those few occasions I was able to actually find him. He turns up everywhere in Skyrim!

That last pic was my fave, with the colors of the night sky, and Aravi bathed in the firelight.

@Acadian: Lol! You are right of course; she’s not often very far from him. The Rifen area is nice and warm, so Aravi will get plenty of time in her ‘kini top! Thanks Acadian!

@Grits: You got it! I didn’t even know that place was there until recently. Aravi and Kharjo shared one big tent for a while, but it weighed 30 lbs! The little tents weigh 10 lbs each so they are using them. I’m happy Aravi and Kharjo are finally getting down to the Rift! Thanks Grits!

@SubRosa: I love Maiq! I just plain prefer Skyrim’s Khajiit over those in Oblivion. When I play Oblivion again, it’s going to be difficult going back to those Khajiit. I wonder if someone will mod the Khajiit to look like Skyrim’s? I can dream.

I found that the Shout the Greybeards teach you to get to the top of the mountain will change the weather wherever you are. Aravi triggered those beautiful auroras. Thanks SubRosa!

When Aravi talked to the leader of the Greybreards, Paarthanax the dragon, he told them that they would need an Elder Scroll to learn the shout to defeat Alduin. Aravi and Kharjo are making their way back to Skyhaven Temple to ask one of the Blades, Esbern, where they might find an Elder Scroll. They get side tracked at a mine.
