How about he tests his thieving skills some more? After all, a master thief should practice from time to time to stay in shape.

Another good tip, although he already did test them out earlier this year when he wanted to finish his town cuirass collection quest

Lothran have just visited the small island S-E of Leyawiin, the one with the bridge to it and the ruined house. There´s an abundance of Nirnroots in this area and he always checks up on them when he´s in the area to make sure tmar´s character Baa hasn´t picked any

Today Lothran left Leyawiin and Blackwood and is currently enjoying a beautiful sunset from the bench at Imperial Bridge Inn. A few Azhklan trolls were slain and a Courier saved from a wolf, and next time the Dunmer will hunt for necrodudes at the chapel on his way to Bravil

I love Imperial Bridge Inn, that's the place one of mine discovered last year, and I had no idea there's an inn tucked away back there. Is Lothran headed back to Bruma soon?

... i haven't been playing Oblivion much this past week (imagine that) except with Sarah Phimm a couple times. Her game is interesting in a way. No action at all; she's merely a cook for Mog in Two Sisters' Lodge. It's a funny thing too, while I'm being with Sarah, I can do other things around my house, like help my daughter with homework or some chores. It's because Sarah's game hasn't got any action. I've also been playing some Sims 3 ... which is (of course) another low-action game.

Anyways, good to hear Lothran is headed .... somewhere.

... i haven't been playing Oblivion much this past week (imagine that) except with Sarah Phimm a couple times. Her game is interesting in a way. It´s still rather refreshing I think to play games with very little action. I truly enjoy what the intro of the manual says; live another life in another world, and in my world there´s lots of peace going on

Yeah, he´s a little all over the plcae right now but he does have part goals in mind: Bravil-Imperial City-Aleswell-Bruma. And then it all starts over again with Chorrol in mid-March.

I think I need to give Lothran some more structure, don´t you think..?

OMG, this reminded me of one of my favorite fics of all time by Rachel the Breton; when her title character "Edward the Imperial" ended up at Cadlew Chapel!

That "servant" (or who Edward THINKS is his servant) is no other than Martin Septim! (in his humbler days before finding out he is the Emperor's son).

And Edward joins the Dark Brotherhood with his "Servant" in tow, and the Adoring Fan joins them - I LOVED that story so much !!!!

How I miss Rachel the Breton and her wonderfully fun writing!!!!!

@mirocu - maybe I mixed something up and pants at Cadlew Chapel aren't exactly unique but I know you can find a piece there which is otherwise obtainable only by killing NPCs that wear them, and IIRC only two or three NPCs wear these particular pants.

I think you mean the black zero weight pants that Vicente and only a couple other NPC's wear. I've only gotten robes at Cadlew, can you get those pants there?

Because they are zero weight and so is one of the shirts you find in Gweden basement; I take those two items and enchant them for the highest Chameleon I can and just carry them in my inventory so if the need to sneak and be stealthy comes up she can just change out her armor for the clothing and tiptoe through dangerous places. (usually with the Ring of Khajiit on as well).

UESP says they're the Rugged Pants - nobody is wearing them, not even a placed corpse.

Oh wait, you said Anvil docks. Oh, THAT Captain! Do you know, that is one quest I've never been able to find! Now that I know he has rare clothing, I'll go hunt again and more thoroughly!


I think I was afraid of upsetting friendly relations with that girl you buy your upgrades from, does she not try to stop you from going below decks?

Slow day in Bravil today. Lothran sold a collectible weapon he didn´t want anymore, got some other weapons repaired up to 100% and then mostly wandered around town and talked to some nice people. Now he´s enjoying an evening at Silverhome but I think as night falls he´ll check out the nearby cave for potential treasure
