I don't know about the paying thing...

Running your own forum is harder than you think...I did it, it wasn't easy...You think about the fights that go on here...I feel for Stargleman every time he gets hassled...

If we had our own forum it would be hard on all of us to make sure it keeps going...No more disappearing for months, we'd have to be here all the time to make sure it didn't go down...

Then there's the recruitment thing...Do we go out and get more/how do we vet them/etc?...

Age rating would be another thing...You've all said you'd like the stories to go more adult...

I'm not sure I'd read them if they did...I'm happy going a bit further than it can at the moment...I pushed mine to what I thought a PG-13 rating was...But that was the odd swearword and violence...

No offence intended at all here DE, but where would you draw the line with the stories?...And if you skew the fan fiction to 18-plus and the forum is partly his, he could just turn around and say "Well, it's within what I thought the rules were"...

There would be fights, and going along with stuff for the sake of it and not being happy with it...

I think staying here and making sure this place as good as it can be is the way to go...But that's personally speaking is all...
