My deepest sympathies to your entire family, Lopov. Sympathies also to mirocu's family friend. It seems inevitable that we will all be touched by this disease in one way or another. My own father informed us on saturday that he has been diagnosed with lymphoma. Thankfully the disease has been diagnosed in the early stages and his prognosis is excellent. I wish the same could be said for your situations.

And just to move on a bit, I´m gonna wash my car today.

So, I bought a New 3DS last week. A definite improvement on the old 3DS, but there's only one problem with it:

You can't get screen protectors for it. You can get them for the XL, which are basically the same ones used on the 3DSXL repackaged because the old and New3DSXL are the same size. So I had to get some of them and trim a set down.

Kind of annoyed about that.

Please accept my sympathies too. Life and death are difficult for everyone involved.

Is this the place where we ask a pertinent question without any chance of an answer?

If so- I have one. What ever happened to Eric Lindros?

I remember on draft night they said he would be the greatest ever. I am still waiting for the Stanley Cup...

Our world is a bit darker, but the heavens are brighter. A new star has ascended. Thank you, Sir Terry, for all of the words, all of the laughter, all of the moments you made me think.

I think once I'm done with the trilogy I'm currently reading(I hate stopping halfway through) I'm going to re-read every Terry Pratchett book I own.

Hey Kobby... smile.gif ...

As for Pratchett reading...I've already re-started The Colour of Magic... biggrin.gif ...If I get to book 40 (all of which are hardback, most of which are first editions, one of which is signed... wink.gif ...) it'll be a miracle...But it's something to aim for...eh?... laugh.gif ...

Yeah, well...I started in '88 with the Sci-Fi and Fantasy Book Club then, as I started work in 1990, I usually bought them as they came out (hence the mostly first editions + The Colour of Magic/Light Fantastic/Equal Rites and Mort are all much later special edition hardback reprints) and then, once married, it's been a tradition for the last few years to get one from the Mother-in-law for either Birthday or Christmas... biggrin.gif ...Sorted!!...

Although...That's not to say I've read them all...
