Here's another one:

Purple mushrooms cows on top
Eating ice cream with chocolate sauce
We're so happy all the time
We're so Fing high we're on cloud nine

.... yeah. Can't tel I was wasted when we wrote that one. Out of all our tunes, I don't even remember how to play that one.

There there was Drug Induced Sleep, an impromptu piece with my bff on a 12 string acoustic and me on my Stratocaster. It had no lyrics, but I still remember and can still hum the melody.

Was the only kid in my school with a demo tape. Lulz. And I still got a copy of White Noise. I just can't play it. No cassette player. I'm pretty sure the tape would get damaged if I tried to play it now. Sadface.

I wanted to be a music producer. Start my own studio. It even had a name: Raven's Nest Recordings.

Ah, the joys. I'd aspired to go to Berklee School of Music, but mom refused to let me move put of state to attend a school like that.

Le sigh.

In laws cancelled on us. FIL is terrified of getting sick and is obsessed with it. He's also a hypochondriac that thinks stuffs wrong with him but never wants to see a doctor.

I'm waiting on glasses. This is week 3.

No call from dentist. Was supposed to happen in October.

Doubt it.

I'm not eager to spend ridiculous amounts of money on glasses either(I wasn't charged the 580 or something for the appointment at the time, and the frames alone ate going to run me 2000). He couldn't tell me what the lenses will cost, only that the left lens will be half price as there's no prescription in it, only enough lens material to even out the weight.

Duolingo changed how it works now. I hate it. My 1025 day streak is over and I haven't finished the course. Never going to learn this miserable language.

I should just go back to the US. I'm a failure.

Crikey, you made it this far! Even though things don't go as planned it has much more to do with the virus than you! The only thing that you've listed that can be attributed to you is learning the language, and I do not fault you even for that. It's very difficult to learn a whole new language, I know that too, remember? It's especially hard for adults as the learning ability dwindles with age.

To me, the very thought of moving to another town gives me anxiety but you moved to another country, got married and procured a citizenship. DON'T THROW THAT AWAY!

I'm sure you and Mikael can have a nice Christmas despite all this. It sucks, but try and make the best of it still. The memory of trying to make it nice is better than a memory not even bothering. Things don't go as I want it either but beating myself up over it would only make it worse. And I am far too stubborn to allow that to happen! wink.gif
