I tried sleep today. Cat keeps waking me before the alarm goes off.

Darned cat. I usually need the bathroom at 4 or 5 but then she needs fed, then wants to play, and causes a HUGE ruckus.

So I have to nap to stay sane.

My new military retiree reading/distance bifocal glasses arrived with yesterday's mail. Perversely, I hurt my left eye while rubbing it not two hours before mail arrived. Sight in that eye was blurred the rest of the day. That being the case I didn't bother unpacking the glasses until this morning, my vision being almost back to abnormal by then.

Sight in my right eye is definitely better with these new glasses. The left eye sees about the same as it did with the old glasses, but it's been my 'better' eye for decades.

The bifocals were free. I bought a pair of computer glasses too. I shelled out cash for those, but my copay was fairly minuscule. A good thing. Can't see out of them worth a darn at computer monitor viewing distance. I suspected that would be the case. Same thing happened two years ago when I bought a pair computer glasses. I keep telling the examine that I view my monitors at a distance greater that the norm...a little over three feet to six inches further away. Yet I away get glasses that focus at around two feet, maybe a bit more. Those do me no good. But again, I expected I'd be hosed, and didn't pay much, so no biggie. I'll just keep using the same $12US Walmart OTC +2.00 strength glasses bought at least ten years ago. They don't give me ultra sharp focus, but aren't far enough off to keep me from seeing and reading what I need to see and read.

But Saturday! Gonna bring up the power drill I got for my b-day to the cottage!

Yeah I paid a LOT of money for my glasses..... Ugh. I need special materials for mine. And very specific frame sizes.

Been nearly 48hrs since I uploaded a TS2021 video to YouTube. 1080p still hasn't finished processing! I shutter to think how long it'll take 2k.

Gonna have to take my car in for repairs (again) Monday. It's making scary noises. No way am I gonna drive it any further than the repair shop, which is thankfully close by.

Probably. I'm rocking a 32 inch 1080p screen so 480 is just ew.
