It’s neat that Hickok mentioned seeing some small people shoot the BAR. It is said that Bonnie Parker, of Bonnie and Clyde fame, often carried a BAR during their crime spree, and indeed there are pictures of her posing with one.

I'm in Sweden. My friend and his wife and kiddo are in Paris in a couple of days, and will be in Stockholm next week. I'm going down to see them.

I don't care for winter anymore. It just means I have to fill up the pellet feeder at work which means yet another thing for me to do

I like the heat. What I hate is humidity. So living in the desert with single digit humidity is perfect for me. We're having a hot spell here on my mountain overlooking Las Vegas (110's) but that should be calming back down to normal highs for midsummer of 100-105 next week. Can get a tad uncomfy in the summertime but I prefer it to even the fairly mild winters here where a light freeze at night is not uncommon and the days usually get up to at least 50 or 60. Most folks disagree with me - even the ones who live out here but I don't care.

I don't really like cold indoors. Outside? Fine. Inside? Oh hellllllll no.

Saw a nature program yesterday talking about how it can get to -10 Celsius in the desert at night and even snowfall! Was bizarre to see the cactuses covered in snow
