The car makers don't like the big brother safety/mileage stuff either but have no choice since that is forced by politicians.
The car makers do confess that a great many customers want convenience high tech computer gadgetry like gps etc though. My concern is exactly that - the high tech gadgetry. I like to keep a car for 15-20 years but the new ones are cell phones with wheels. Ever heard of keeping a cell phone for 15-20 years? -------------------- |

At least one car company is moving away from touch screens. Personally, if I need something like GPS, set your phone to do then put it in a holder, the cup holder, somewhere you'll hear the guidance. Don't need to look at it.

Don't worry. I didn't notice much honestly. And it's more than ok to get stuff off your chest sometimes. I know I do that quite often; just recently about cars
