I named my first character gurgle. He was green, and had a very stretched out face(at least for the dungeon tutorial. I used the default imperial model when I got the chance to edit his appearance) Then there's my first elder scrolls expierience.....that didn't turn out well. I'm not sure what I named him what I did. Maybe because he looked so weird.

My first character was an Orc named Nairon. I distinctly remember him being born in the Atronach Birthsign, and turning into a Vampire. *Le Shrug*
I was a newbie at the time, I guess.
Which gives me an idea.
What were you guys' newbie antics when you first got a TES game?

QUOTE(Grits @ Jan 31 2013, 05:21 PM) Mine was a Nord woman named Rowan, but Im not sure how I spelled it. The PlayStation died soon after I made her, and so we got a new one. My first character that I really remember was an Imperial woman (Spellsword) named Rowan Varrus.
I have always loved that name. I love those tree/plant names, like Holly, Rose, Willow, etc... I have wanted to use Rowan for characters more than once, but I keep thinking of your Rowan (and Rowan Atkinson), and it does not feel right. This post has been edited by SubRosa: Feb 1 2013, 02:57 AM

I remember going through that first Ayelid ruin, the name of which I forget at this moment...Bloody early mornings...You know the one, just across the way from the sewer exit...Aaamywho, I remember going through there, part stunned at the beauty of it and partly terrified for some reason...Oh, and then the joys of going back and to into the shopping district and meeting Varnado and...The other one...Dear Gods man, wake up!!... Aaaamywho, my first memories of playing Oblivion are of going back and to to the Ayelid ruin...

Vilverin, eh? I remember going through there the first time, and seeing the campfire, I thought there were friendlies that could help me in my quest. Turns out I was wrong. Painfully wrong.
One that is sooo etched into my memory is that........
......
.....
I mistook the Roxey Inn for the Fighters Guild. Whaaaat? You may be wondering? Weeeell, long story short, the language barrier had something to do with it. My copy of Oblivion is Japanized, you see, and at the time, I couldn't read some of the kanji. Yaaah.
