What are some silly or odd things you have learned in Skyrim? Here are a few of mine.

It can snow lots, without a trace of accumulation!

It is possible to walk (jog, or even sprint) fully on snow and ice, and never fall flat on your ass!

Why risk your life when chopping wood can earn hundreds in one day!? hehe.gif

Skooma sucks (literally) in Skyrim. Nobody knows how to brew it like they did in 3rd-era Cyrodiil. kvleft.gif

Alcohol causes drunken effects for 30 seconds at a time! indifferent.gif

*On a rare cloudless day* Ahh! What IS that giant white ball in the sky? panic.gif

Food often has restorative properties. Who needs a hospital bed when a bowl of vege soup will do just fine?

The art of spell creation has been lost in just 200 years, while the technology to make crossbows has finally been re-attained. huh.gif

Guards often speak in funny accents! laugh.gif "Wait! I knuh yoo!"

Lots of folks apparently have their sweetrolls stolen.

Cat-people make the best travelling sages.

Couriers are the most duty-conscious folk in Skyrim. They always deliver their mail. Dragon attacks? That letter is too important! Got to deliver it! Right now!

Couriers are also indestructible. No matter how many times you blow them up, stab them, dlfreeze them, shoot them, or shock them, they always survive, and the next time you see them, they're perfectly fine.

Eh? I managed to kill a courier once, so I could steal his blood.

And stop looking at me as if I'm crazy, dammit. You just don't understand how intensely sane I'm being right now.

Then the courier that gives the players their mail doesn't die. I've killed plenty of couriers too, but not that one courier.....blink.gif

Ha ha so true!! It's a shame there aren't any Khajiit couriers (as they were in Cyrodiil) who can deliver these "important messages" even faster.

Thieves only know one method of killing (gutting like a fish).

Court wizards are often preoccupied, never sleep, speak with a lisp, and/or have us "figured for a mage", even if our character is brandishing smelly armor with a giant battleaxe to boot.

Ataxia has become quite a problem back in Cyrodiil.

If a merchant happens to be selling food that seems way too fresh, chances are it's stolen, or there's something fishy going on.

Children only know how to play tag, hide 'n' seek, or summon Night Mothers from the void.

They say that it's hard to catch fish with your bare hands, but in skyrim, it's more simple than shooting fire out of your hands.

Fianna and Gerda are very serious about their jobs but, apparently, they don't do windows and they won't venture outside Dragonsreach long enough to take the skeleton out of the moat.

Mila Valentia works with her mother, to sell fruits and vegetables. It's fun most days, but hard work.

Braith, in Whiterun, is a Redguard child? huh.gif

*chuckles* hehe.gif laugh.gif

Sweetroll theft is apparenly quite a problem in Skyrim.

One arrow to an appendage is apparently enough to end an adventurer's career. (hah!)

Fun things bandits like to do in their spare time: viking.gif

(1) they like to paint snow with blood
(2) they like mounting decapitated heads upon their walls
(3) they like complaining about stupid bees and their stupid honey
(4) they like pondering whose "brat" is really theirs

Old ladies who cook and clean and do whatever it is they ask are the true survivors of Skyrim!

No, her parents are redguards. Braith looks like a Nord, not a Redguard
