KC's got a point, we're ignoring the little minor details like timing lol

The way I understood it. the WG thread was in real time. It took us a month and a half to get through one tiny mission because of our busy schedules, but when our characters got back, only one day had gone by.

Yes, it’s supposed to be in real time, and you gave a great example of everyone just being flexible about it. There are going to be times that we want to put on a specific event (Saturalia, birthday parties), but otherwise I think it’s working to just not keep track of the date. This is my first shot at RP not to mention planning anything, so it's quite a learning experience! smile.gif

Also where is the Vera/Stefan/Lycus streak-off?! Don’t be shy! (Or explicit. Lol.)

But, how many people actually get that? I do. Do they?

NOPE. But I read all about it when I tried to quote you. How did the board eat your spoiler tags?

It doesn’t all have to make sense either. How can Aravi be in Skyrim when the events of that game happen 200 years in the future from the events in Oblivion? They can’t really, so I ignore that little detail.

I always wondered this but you pretty much cleared it in your Aravi thread. I'm totally the opposite. I MUST come up with reasons my characters live that long otherwise I'll beat myself over it tongue.gif

Vampirism and Lycanthropy and Daedric interference mostly. The rest are, eh, a real head-scratcher.

You guys do realize the Nerevarine gains biological immortality and immunity to disease in MW, yes? And those events were six years prior to the events of OB.

No Dragon Break needed there.

Yes. In fact, isn't your character in the RP like this?

Ahhhhh. My favorite subject.

Teh Dragon Break!!!

In Daggerfall, there were six alternate endings that the player was free too choose from.

Now, this was TES2, so how could they possibly incorporate all six endings into TES3: Morrowind?

WITH A DRAGON BREAK!

Akatosh= The Dragon God of time. 'Break' time, and you 'break' the Dragon. A Dragon Break.

The book the 'Warp in the West' appearing first in Morrowind, and OB and Skyrim, recounts how stuff just all happened simultaneously. That is, all six endings happened side by side. The event of the Totem being used broke the dragon, and Akatosh has to mend time.

What happens is that stuff gets rearranged and Time, is never quite the same again.

Also: Lorkhan is Akatosh. WHAAAA?! Aedra and Daedra are quite literally their spheres. Akatosh is Time Itself.

Lorkhan is Space itself.

Space and Time are inexorably connected. Yet there is a dichotomy.

Short Version: Retconning to butcher your own lore to make a game that's interesting.

Ah, I remember the confusing conversations we had in the Bethesda Lore Forum. One of the popular subjects was CHIM and the Dragon Break and contraversial for Bethesda's meddling. It all spends my head into a spin.
