Haven't checked it out but patch notes say more balancing, transmutation tweaks and bugfixes.

Yeah, I went over there and it was switched to the EU server; but no exciting items to buy or new seasonal quests to do.

The ESO Live thing said there'd be a new patch Monday and then Khajiit guesses they'll be working on the Witches Festival stuff?

Hope so. indifferent.gif

The appeal quickly died for me when I learned that you could only ever hold about 4 transmutations at a time (two if you don't have Plus) meaning that the droprate would most likely be pretty low. Looks like I was right. :T

At the very least, I have access to them thanks to pledges. I guess.

It's really only useful if you are using looted weapons or armor. This could be good for characters still leveling (like all of Khajiit's), but max level characters won't need it right?

I think it would be the exact opposite = no one will want to spend that much cost on anything while their characters are in any transient leveling stage. I think everyone will wait till their characters are CP 160 before wasting the expensive mats on the transmute (if that is what you were talking about). laugh.gif

Damn, Khajiit did not even consider the cost of the transmute mats. So instead of doing this transmute thing, why not just craft a new piece of armor or weapon? That way you can get exactly what you want, no muss no fuss. Maybe it would be useful for uncraftable sets?

That is the point, for Monster sets, drop sets, etc. So instead of farming the vet dungeons repeatedly to get "Infused" (etc) you can just change the "Training" piece you picked up to it. Or for Tanks you can change your Warrior-Poet and Green Pact to Nirnhoned, etc.

The cost = look closely at those pictures they provided; each piece was costing 50 of those transmute stones; so you will have to farm those stones big time to change even one piece of armor. (Or possibly buy the stones off the Guild Traders; can you imagine how high they will be?)

That said - whenever we have all the crafting tables IN the Guild Hall = I do intend to get a Transmute Table for us to use. Right now they are showing at 1250 vouchers at the Master Writ turn in guy. Not sure if they will sell them for Crowns or not in the Live server, I hope so.

Thanks mALX. Khajiit was having trouble understanding the point of the transmutation stations. Since none of his characters use the dungeon sets, it wasn't initially obvious to this one.

Britta is a Tank, and recently all the Tanks started changing over from Armor Master and Song of Lamae (which you can craft with Nirnhoned trait) to the Warrior-Poet and Green Pact which are both dropped sets. Well, I didn't change over with everyone else because I didn't want to give up the huge protection of my Nirnhoned armor. Now I won't have to, I will be able to just turn them all into Nirnhoned, WOO HOO!

The Tanks are also changing from Monster sets like Tremorscale (which is fairly easy to get) to the Mighty Chudan = which only drops in the Veteran version of Ruins of Mazzatun = which I could never get through even once without a group capable of carrying me through it (and I know in advance I'd get a crappy trait on it, but would have to feel lucky just to even get the helmet and live with whatever I got).

(I haven't found anyone willing to drag Britta through it yet, though I've shamelessly begged) - which is why Britta is still wearing last year's Tanking gear, lol.

So this will make those crappy-traited dropped and Monster sets useable; no more farming Vet dungeons for better traits or working so hard to get what you need and then throwing it away because it is "training" = Woo Hoo!

Khajiit really thought about getting this horse for either Mira or Brenna, but decided in the end that its style really didn't suit either of them. Still might. Don't know. Does it come with all the hardware or is that added by the riding lessons? Usually it says if it's on the mount by default.

Here's the complete showcase for November. That Telvanni armored robe is frickin' awesome! Also, why no Nord female clothes?

The silver-colored face plate, small black saddle bags, and leg wraps are added by riding training.

Oh oooook! This is good news! Perhaps Khajiit will buy it since we can hide individual items we don't like!

Aw! Well, it may be ugly, but it moves kind of cool! And who knows, it might glow in the dark or something.

At first glance it sort of looked like the working model lol, and who knows, maybe it was and they decided it looked good enough for a mechanical pet so they polished it a bit. I wouldn't have gone with such a garish color scheme though. It's what's really putting me off.
