Beauty shot is not what I was expecting, but I surely do love old blue eyes. Bright eyes, on the other hand, really is a beauty in that shot! I laughed at the Lucia shot – “Thanks for bringing me home. What can I get into?” Some great action shots vs the Wolf Queen. Does Potema remember Persephone?

Very eerie shot of Persephone floating above the fray. I very much enjoyed that whole Solitude/Wolf Queen quest series. Well, Arcadia (no relation) does indeed have a point. Could be ataxia. I hear it’s quite a problem in Cyrodiil. Aww, luvs Sofie’s pet fox. Surprised? I never looked up to notice the source of Izzy’s vamp checking light – very neat! Heh, Izzy does make it easy to befriend Serana. I imagine Persephone will befriend Serana – and help the DG destroy Harkon.

Renee: I love the Headless Horseman. I have followed him at least once. He takes you all the way to Hamvir's Rest, where he disappears into the graveyard. Serana is the best follower Bethesda ever made, so I like having her around. In spite of all the ice shards I keep digging out of my back... She has a lot of special dialogue for specific places you visit, which is really neat. Plus she interacts with the world more better than the regular followers. But mostly she has a wonderful voice (thanks to Laura Bailey), and is just a well done person. Being undead herself, Persephone feels more at ease with Serana than she can with any living person. Acadian: TBH, I just love listening to Laura Bailey's voice. She is one of the best voice actors I have ever heard. I had saved the Ghostblade from Persephone's earlier visit with The Pale Lady. I am glad I kept it. I was originally going to give Serana an ebony sword, but then I saw the Ghostblade, and it just seemed perfect. I was wondering if I would see the Headless Horseman this playthrough, and then there he was! It is the little things like him that I love about Bethesda games. I think BethSoft learned a great deal from the fantastic work of companion mod creators like Vilja etc and it really shows in Serana – she’s not there yet but is a massive step in the right direction for vanilla followers. And I agree also that Laura Bailey’s voice acting for Serana is superb. Broken Oar Grotto – nice to see P&S straying off the straight DG path for some fun. Spray – Oh noes! I hope that’s not Persephone’s blood? Does she even bleed? Who’s hungry really shows what good ‘moms’ P&S are – considering that neither of them eat. Aww, Shadowgreen warms my heart. I’m so glad Persephone has a friend besides her bony or draugry pals. Heh, that matron certainly does look done up in Halloweenie colors! Nice shot of Persephone sneaking with her trademark absorb health spells at the ready. Flagman. One of her old friends? Swimming. Must be nice to not really have to breathe. Ice and Lightning is an imposing shot of Serana – even if we know she’s probably going to resurrect a chicken.

Aw, who's hungry? Who would like some taffy? Even from a couple ancient undeads, those two kids would be wont to pass that offer up! I love the Sneaking pic. And also "Spray". That does it. You just inspired me to fire up Skyrim finally. I'll do this later today. QUOTE(SubRosa @ Oct 29 2016, 01:11 PM) Renee: I love the Headless Horseman. I have followed him at least once. WHOA no way. QUOTE Serana is the best follower Bethesda ever made, so I like having her around. In spite of all the ice shards I keep digging out of my back... Try getting into the habit of staying out of Serana's way. If you run straight for an enemy, for instance, try side-stepping once you're up there bashing into it. This way, Serana gets some clear shots into that enemy, and Persephone is now ice-shard free. QUOTE She has a lot of special dialogue for specific places you visit, which is really neat. Plus she interacts with the world more better than the regular followers. But mostly she has a wonderful voice (thanks to Laura Bailey), and is just a well done person. Being undead herself, Persephone feels more at ease with Serana than she can with any living person. Yes, that totally makes sense. They're both undead, and in their own ways I'm sure they compliment each other, personality-wise, though this could become a power-play if it's not the right roleplay. I wiki'd Serana's voice-speaker awhile ago, and was surprised that her voice-actress has quite a resume. This post has been edited by Renee: Oct 30 2016, 04:42 PM

Acadian: They probably did take their cues for Serana from the modding community. A lot of mods from one game wind up being regular features in later games. Like plants disappearing after you pick them. Broken Oar was technically on P&S's path. They passed it on the way back to Castle Volkihar. But more importantly Sorine Jurard sent them there on one of the missions for her crossbow upgrades. She has an awful lot of those! I love Shadowgreen. Especially since Persephone has a Kyne's Peace spell, so she does not have to kill all the animals within. Flagman might be Captain America Tamriel. But I could be wrong. I can definitely see Persephone is definitely an Avenger. Not needing to breathe makes it so much easier to get down into those shipwrecks. Especially that big one one between Dawnstar and Winterhold. Pilgrim's Trench I think it is called. I forgot to mention before that Serana does not resurrect chickens in my game. I am using the Sneaky Serana mod, that has an option to turn off her reanimating. I also tweaked her a lot myself, and added some new spells to her arsenal. Right now she doesn't have any summoning or reanimating. But now that we have left the Soul Cairn, I am tempted to give her a Summon Boneman or Summon Wrathman spell as well. Either would be unique, so I would not mistake them for one of Persephone's pals, or regular undead monsters. Renee: I am not sure if taking candy from strangers or undead is a good thing! Play some Mycharonna for Halloween! I do make a point not to charge straight at bad guys. Instead I move forward at an angle, so Serana can have a clear shot. But she still manages to magically plant her ice shards directly into my back... Still, Serana and Persephone fit together so perfectly, because they are undead. They have a lot in common, starting with immortality. They are also eternal outsiders, forever separated from the rest of the world. Laura Bailey has done a ton of work. I am sure a lot of that is because she is so good. But also because she mainly a voice actor, and doing voices does not take a long time. A VA can do their part for a game or even movie in just a few days. So they can do a lot of work in a short time. It is boring work. They just sit in a room and read off a sheet of paper with all their lines. One after another after another. A few tv and movie producers actually put all the voice actors together in the same studio to do their scenes together. That way they can play off one another, and feel like they are actually acting. The Cone Wars and Rebels do that. Awesome pics. SubRosa! I really loved Chillin- That sit down scene just looked so neat. Time to get the ElderScroll- Women with purpose! ** I installed Skyrim Special on Friday night on Xbox One so I can now take some pics myself. Finally. For us console users the game is really epic and I love all the graphic changes to the game. Lighting, fog, textures are all really neat. The only part that annoys me is that at sunset the whole sky turns pink instead of just the western sky. Perhaps the sun and planet system on Nirn is different to ours but I still find it annoying. The ice caves look really neat and I love them a lot. Some other things like rugs on the floor seem a bit backwards from how my memory remembered them. Those on PC have already run heaps of better mods and graphic cards so the difference will be small. Still, 64 bit and DX11 must be tempting indeed. For me the game gets thumbs up. Great shots! The sky reminds me of Cyrodiil. A sabre-cat isn't a match for Bear-Claw. Otto looks tough, I like his blind eye.

Acadian: Persephone spends a lot of time taking sides with Serana against other people: her father, Isran, and her mother. I guess you could say Serana is a very polarizing person! Seriously though, one thing I like about the Dawnguard main quest is that its heart is a very dysfunctional family squabble. It makes it all a little more relateable. Unfortunately summoning Durnevhiir is a shout, and since Persephone is not the Dragonborn, she cannot do that. But I did find a mod that adds a spell to summon him, and still advances the vanilla quest that summoning him is part of. So far it is working good. Winter Wolf: Persephone never passes up a chance to sit down and catch up with old, dead friends. Otto makes me think of Otto Blendker, from Michael Moorcock's books. Not because of how he looks. Just the name! Skyrim SE reminds me a lot of Fallout 4, with the slight blue tinge, and bright look to everything. It is probably the same game engine after all. Wow, love all your shots, as usual. I still haven't gotten back into Skyrim yet, but I will. You should write up some sort of story between Pers and Serana! Just a quickie. Looking at those two in such close quarters, there must be some dialog going on... QUOTE I am sure a lot of that is because she is so good. But also because she mainly a voice actor, and doing voices does not take a long time. A VA can do their part for a game or even movie in just a few days. So they can do a lot of work in a short time. It is boring work. They just sit in a room and read off a sheet of paper with all their lines. One after another after another. This must be why some lines are delivered with such a lack of emphasis, while others have too much!

Jugula! Nice. I like the new priestess outfits. SubRosa, that vampire detector lens is a neat discovery. Still finding new things! I love Sofie's snow fox. Great catch with the horseman! Serana and Persephone look good together in the pictures. Like they are good partners. Good thing Persephone is not bothered by her errant Frost spells. Aww, I love the picture of Persephomom cooking for her girls! Swimming is a beautiful shot, but Shadowgreen really takes the prize. Absolutely gorgeous. It would be neat for Serana to summon the Soul Cairn beings rather than leaving ash piles everywhere. I've always thought that the Soul Cairn summonings were sort of friendly helpers, while raising the enemies you just killed seems, well, kind of mean. Fantastic shots of the Soul Cairn adventure! I especially like the ones with mom and with Durnehviir. Another ancient immortal pal! Whoa, matching outfits! Serana looks so feminine, I always like that. That is the most spectacular takedown of Weylin that I have seen. Watch out for those undead reflexes! Movie promo is very dramatic. I see a Caption This contender. Winter Wolf, I am also enjoying the new atmosphere that SSE brings to the consoles. Otto looks great, and I love his name! He caught some nice sunny weather. I love how the colors pop when the sun is out. Jerric version SSE_PS4_01 (just kidding) had a meeting with Jarl Balgruuf. I took a picture while they were talking.
