Yes, please! I was the driver last night, so I’m mostly suffering from lack of sleep and the memory of our host last night’s dreadful choice of music. And the accompanying interpretive dances. There are some things one can’t un-see. The Grits family has neither dog nor cat, so we enjoyed our friends’ pets last night. Their cats are much bigger than the dog, but the dog thinks that she is the queen. There was a continuous show of nipping and swiping underfoot until the neighbors’ fireworks started causing furred creatures to dash off in all directions including straight up. The dog ended up shivering in Mommy’s arms while the cats retreated to sanctuaries unknown, demonstrating that the dog has an accurate understanding of her place within the household. Coffee! Yes, that would be nice. Happy New Year!
