"Have you read or heard much about the dwemer's disappearance? One theory is that they defied the gods and were wiped out. Do you see now why they interest me so?"
"I certainly do now, however I never looked too much into the lore of the dwemer. I have plundered some of their facilities though, and taken some items of interest from them," Osano replied to Arcyakt. He was glad to have an intelligent conversation with somebody; the group of travellers he was with however friendly, often argued amongst themselves. He then asked Arcyakt, "Back on the mountain, you said I would soon be immune to normal weapons. How long would that take? And on that topic, I meant to ask you, are you dead? or alive?" Osano hoped his words did not offend the mage, his curiosity had gotten the better of him.

Mage

Arcyakt's face went sullen. "Most people would have the common sense not to ask me such questions." he said threateningly.

He broke the awkward silence with a laugh. "Good thing you are not most people! It's rather dull ahving slaves all of the time. It is much better to have..." he paused, searching for the correct word. "Partners, such as yourself."

"As far as your powers are concerned, it depends on the person. I would guess that it would take no longer than a week - but don't think your powers will stop there. You may find you have some magical prowess as well...and as for my longevity...I admit, I do not know. I would guess that I can be killed, for it is said that even gods can be killed. Though I do not know if I can die of natural causes or not. I almost interest myself as much as the dwemer do." he said with a chuckle.

Osano's heart stopped. What have I done?!

Osano stood motionless, he expected to die right then and there. He reached up to feel his heart just to make sure he wasn't dead. Still beating...

OOC: my heart really did skip a beat lol
arcyakt scares the hell outta me, i swear

Mage

Arcyakt laughed as he patted Osano on the back. "Why do you look so shocked? It was the fact that I joked, wasn't it? Can unfortunate mages not joke?"

He continued down the corridor, searching for the weather machine.

Osano breathed a sigh of relief A joke, it was just a joke, calm down. He smiled but words had left him. After walking for a few minutes Osano finally said while quietly laughing at himself, "I guess it was pretty funny."

Mage

"This is it." he said as he walked onto the platform. He studied the pictures on the wall and the levers. "Hmm..." he muttered things to himself, things about the mechanics and enchantments of the machine.

"Defy the gods, indeed." he said with a low whistle. "This weather machine is actually operational."

He pulled some paper, a quill, and some ink from the folds of his robe, and began writing something down.

"We are done here, let's go back to the entry room."

When they finally got there, he cast a spell on the room, connecting it to his mirrors.

"Do you want to go back, or would you like to stay in Mournhold for awhile?" he asked Osano.

(OOC: Thx for making me read around 15 pages... Well well)

Arco had stayed a little away from the group, but saw what seemed to be Falx grave. Falx was a good man, one of those Arco didn't want to lose in the group. He took out the waterskin out of his sack and drank a little before rising scanning ahead. He could already see Morrowind, all the fighting in the group. He really didn't understand why he would stay, it didn't look like anything good would come out of it...

Arco stepped down before starting walking a little east, nearing the mountains downfall against Morrowind, he scanned out trying to find the way to the nearest village against the water so he could return to Vvardenfell, he didn't really want to. All those horrible memories could almost come to life again, it could break him...

"Guess we'll meet again in Mournhold" Arco said to himself before he leaped of the edge and started running down the mountain side against the open fields of Morrowind..
Jonacin removed his sword from his belt and placed it by Shakur's helmet. "I no longer need this blade. I suppose it's time i let you all in on a little secret" he said to the group. He held out his hand, and effortlessly produced a Shehai in his hands, the glowing spirit sword shaped like a long katana with stylised flames winding up the blade. He then let the blade vanish again, after making a few practice slashes with it.
Serene instinctively took a step backwards when Jonacin summoned the enchanted sword.....

"Ahhhh," she yelped, "what was that?"

She also felt sorry about Falx, he was a good man, probably one of the most reliable..she wanted to give him a little something he could use on the final journey, so she took 2 small blue vials from her backpack and kneeled beside the grave;

"May your soul have an easy flight to heaven" she chanted as she put the vial containing an exclusive levitation-potion beside the other gifts...

"May your burdens be few and light" she continued as she put the second vial beside the first one...

She then rose to her feet and embraced Jonacin...

Arco was soon down the mountain, his fast running through the trees on the mountain ground gave him some small wounds but he kept on going. He headed for Maar Mok before getting a Silt Strider ride to Isra Nium at the coast...

As he approached the field surronded by mountains and forest, he stopped. He looked up at the mountain as the sun went down, checking if he had some extra thoughts. He only hoped all would be alright, even Niran...

Serene noticed Arco´s running down the mountain, and wished he hadn´t left because he was one she could trust.

She decided to try some telepathy magic she learnt long time ago..

"Arcoooooooooooooo."...she concentrated and spoke his name inside her head, focusing to send her thoughts into his brain....."Arcoooooo, you hear me?"

Arco could hear Serene, he was quite supprised. Didn't know she possessed such power, but Arco knew it was best for the group that he might come back to them later. He needed the scimitars...

Arco kept on running against Maar Mok to get some rest before continuing...

Sel

Instead of waiting for people to aknowledge his suggestion, he went ahead to find a good place to camp. In the rocky terrain on the mountain, the best shelter he could hope for would be a cave.

All he found was an indention in the side of the mountain large enough for two people - not even worthy of the name 'cave'. He had already decided who got to sleep inside the cave - the only two females in the group. And hopefully they could fit a smaller one in there. He layed down outside of the cave to try to clear his head.

The thoughts of him being insane had always been there - until the mage showed him that he wasn't. But now, something else was nagging at him...

"An Ansei is a warrior among my people who has the power to call up a Shehai, or spirit sword. Most Ansei can only call up the form of the sword, but some, like myself, can call up a true sword. Shakur has also demonstrated this ability, although it would only seem to work under times of great stress for him"

"No, you would not have to come down here. I will know when you want to get back, and then I will take you back. Have a nice stay in Mournhold." he said. He didnm't give Osano a change to answer - he cast a spell, teleporting Osano to the surface and then himself to his castle.
