Some shots from this evening's guild meet. Guild meet Pool partyThe sun risesLast lizard standingQUOTE(SubRosa @ Mar 3 2017, 12:23 AM) Love those Hist trees. I like the glowing flowers too!
Fun fact: when a Hist tree flowers it means that the Argonian eggs beneath it are going to hatch.

Misa died at the Guild meeting last night; trying to jump across from the tower to the roof across from it, lol. Haa-Rei sleeping at the bottom of the pool was hilarious! Really had a great time, and it was so great to have Kazeara join us now! ** Ooh, I didn't know that about the flowers on the Hist!!!! This post has been edited by mALX: Mar 5 2017, 12:31 AM

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Mar 10 2017, 04:15 PM) QUOTE(Acadian @ Mar 10 2017, 12:47 PM) Very cool! Is there a power that makes animals friendly? Not yet! The Morrowind expansion introduces a new class that can have animal combat companions! Super excited!

QUOTE(SubRosa @ Mar 10 2017, 05:15 PM) QUOTE(Acadian @ Mar 10 2017, 12:47 PM) Very cool! Is there a power that makes animals friendly? The bunnies and deer are already friendly; but there are certain quests you can do in certain areas that cause the wild animals of that area to be friendly to the Player for the rest of the game. The Daggerfall Covenant/Glenumbra has the "Wyrd" area (huge area!) that (once you have finished that questline) the bears and wolves in that whole area will never attack you again (unless you attack them, and doing that may break the bond you have with them) They will still attack any player that hasn't completed the quest there, just not those that have. The Aldmeri Dominion/Auridon has a smaller area that is heavily populated with bear and wolves attacking when you arrive - after doing the questline they become friendly; and for the rest of the game you can pass unmolested through there while everyone else that hasn't done the quest is getting attacked. Again = if you attack them they will attack you back; and your bond with them might be broken. (so don't ever come to that area seeking easy pelts. I don't even defend another player against them = don't want the bond broken). The Ebonheart Pact has one area where the Giants and Mammoth become friendly to the Player, but it is a very small place - does not apply to any other mammoth or giants. The game has several areas rife with attacking ghosts that = once completing the questline you can pass through them untouched after; while others with/around you that haven't done the quest will still have to fight their way through.

Thanks all, for the kind words. @SubRosa, mALX is right on the critters. Deer & antelope are quite realistically unpredictable. Sometimes they're very skittish, other times you can just about push them out of the way. Such was the case for that antelope shot. I love that the giants and mammoths are quite like Skyrim's. They generally tolerate you getting fairly close before deciding you are worth their hostile attention. In general, you can skirt around most hostile critters if you give them a bit of distance. As for the bunny, Buffy was trying to recruit it into her 'long-earred gang'.

The following characters may appear familiar to anyone who's read SitC... Gee, I wonder who snuck to the skyshard on top of the Bleakrock Isle barrow completely unarmed? And disguised herself as a bandit to grab the shard in the mine, still completely unarmed.(Rule #1 of playing Adryn is that she cannot fight. This makes her interesting but exhausting to play, and I may have to give my other characters a few points in the crafting skills so we don't have to rely on her to gather mats. Particularly hide, lol.) In the meantime, mALX's new dye station gets a visitor. After dyeing her armour a more becoming shade, Ervesa relaxes with... a mug of Nord mead, apparently? You do you, Ervesa.Aaand posing. You're aware that that isn't actually your home, right, Ervesa? All you've got is a cubbyhole in Ebonheart where you're trying to save up for a basket for the cat.(So I bought the personalities pack thinking Furious might work for Adryn. It doesn't quite - I was hoping more grumpy and less... furious, lol - but Cheerful is the BEST THING EVER and I am never taking it off Ervesa oh my god look at her grinning at you there.) You might get higher quality pics in better lighting in a few days.

Adryn! So happy to see her in ESO! Oh, I agree on Cheerful. That is Buffy's primary personality. She also has Dutchess but that is pretty posh/pretentious for Buffy. Isn't that crafting courtyard that mALX set up at Hunding House Our Guildhall just fantastic?
