QUOTE(mALX @ Sep 26 2016, 08:51 AM) * Okay, the fight with Molag Bal screens! http://imgur.com/a/gYW1S* *Perks up at the Stros M'Kai location* Hey, does that mean Mazul and Misa (or Julian and Misa) might get to adventure together? Please?

Thanks Everyone! I had put this off so long - only did it now because that "One Tamriel" update is going to make this fight worse at Misa's level.
I was kind of frozen when he picked Misa up and was holding her so close to his mouth and opening his mouth - then he started turning red, and I was freaking out - then happened to see that little message in the screen to use the sacrifice thing to attack Molag Bal and free myself.
I spammed the X key a hundred times after I saw that message, and after the light of Meridia burned him he dropped Misa from that great height - it was scary!
But the fight after all that (and getting up to Molag Bal) was actually not as bad as I had feared it would be all this time. My armor protected me A LOT; even when he jumped on me (because I couldn't seem to run or move around much) my health never went down too dangerously low.
Started off with the bow, then when I couldn't run around I went ahead and changed over to duel wield. I was so freaked out that I forgot to use my Ultimates or "Spin-to-Win" - just straight beating repeatedly with my (absorb health) blades and screaming my head off in fear.
And last week I made myself a glyph that cost me 17,000 to make = a Truly Superb Prismatic Weapon glyph = 5000 + damage against Daedra and Undead - forgot to enchant a bow with it and bring it with me, so almost called off the fight; but my friend Aussie talked me into sticking it out (we talked on TeamSpeak throughout the fight, if she wasn't deafened by my shrieking)
** Haute - Until "One Tamriel" update, we won't be able to see each other due to being in different Alliances; but afterward - most def!

Between working and sleeping, I've been spending the last couple of days with Mazul exploring the last corner of Glenumbra. We've cleared Cath Bedraud (with the help of that Wake Up Dead stout), saved Glenumbra from the menace of Angof the Gravesinger, and now tackling Crosswych. Hard to believe, but Crosswych is harder to complete than Cath Bedraud. I think it's because both Blaise the Foreman and Sternis Gelves are heavy magicka users and every time she gets close to them they annihilate her with flame spells. She finally killed Blaise by using a flame staff and moving fast around him, but it made her realize how inadequate her iron armor is. At Level 16, she can now craft herself a decent set of steel armor, and make herself a nice steel greatsword. So after we finally killed the foreman, we headed back down to Daggerfall to visit the bank, get a riding lesson, and craft a full set of steel armor. She had enough improving materials to bring the cuirass up to blue, and the greaves up to green. The new greatsword too is green, if I recall correctly. Unfortunately, when she tried to improve the oaken flame staff she had, she lost it. We are taking a break from trying to kill Gelves until tonight, when there's more people around and hopefully there will be another player on the same quest, and we can kind of help each other. Weekday mornings are awfully quiet here in Glenumbra, and most of the time we rather like it. However, when it comes to the boss fights, it helps to have other players around. Anyway, here is Mazul in her new armor, fresh off the anvil Front viewBack viewThen it was off to the dyeing station, where we could try out the different colors we have access to (not very many at this point). WTF?? You can't be serious! Finally we have a full set of armor in the colors Mazul prefers, and it's back to Crosswych to try again tonight. Mazul is hanging out behind the manor house to wait for comrades. New colors frontNew colors backJulian would like Mazul to level up her clothing skills so that she can get an updated version of her armor. She is finally at the point where the leveled armor she is getting is better than mALX's Death Wind set. So we are stowing the Death Wind pieces in the bank for the next character. It's too nice a set to break down and learn from . . .

It's too nice a set to break down and learn from . . . Unfortunately, Misa can only make the basic (levels 1-14) in Heavy armor & weapons or any wood crafted items like staves. She just raised her level in Blacksmithing, but so far only has traits learned in swords and daggers. In Woodworking she has almost all the traits, but no skill points left to raise the level on it (and there are only a handful of skyshards left in Tamriel that she hasn't gotten, so not likely she will be able to raise that level any time soon, or she would offer to help). Medium armor is about all she can do, lol. Even light armor = she just hasn't learned traits for, she has been researching medium armor since day one. But Julian's leather armor - that Misa can do. Swords and shields - can do. Oooh, you made her a gorgeous armor!!!! Even without the dye, but LOVE the gold chestpiece !!!! This post has been edited by mALX: Sep 28 2016, 07:38 PM

Cirinwe arrived at Hatching Pools today. The main Hist there is amazing. She also fought some familiar foes and took part in the trials of The Hist, receiving a mysterious vision. She can't quite put her finger on it, but she felt a little different during the vision. (and so did I with that weird screen blur effect ) Finally, she had a look at some ancient Argonian architecture. Even though Cirinwe knows the Argonians aren't allowed to build with stone anymore, she thinks it's a real shame that these ruins are all but forgotten. Maybe she's found her true calling as a scholar of all things Argonian?

That ancient Argonian ruin looks like an underground Mayan temple! I'll have to go check it out when I start my Ebonheart characters!

I LOVE the Argonian architecture, those pyramids!!!!

Oh yeah, it's great to go back through all these quests again. Ciri also gives it a different, non-Argonian, perspective which is always interesting to think about while we're adventuring. Just a couple of shots from yesterday: Helping out the inmates of White Rose Prison, Cirinwe the Centurion. Haa-Rei captured this view in Wrothgar. As ever, one of the most beautiful regions in the game.
