2. A journal saying that he went to a nearby cave to kill the Sunken One, because he was responsible for the events at Kvatch.

3. The offering consists of some gems IIRC. The Sunken One attacks when you find out the last part of the journal and you have to kill it to get out.

Okay, let me try for the first time. I read the list of the quests on the previous page, so if it's complete, then the following quest should still be available

That is so funny! I was not sure, but here's what came to mind for me:
1. In the coffin = Manduin's Amulet.
2. Arrogant bastard = Kalthar.
3. Traveling refers to Kalthar relocating from the Leyawiin MG to Fort Blueblood.

So. . . I thought perhaps the quest was the Leyawiin MG recommendation. Now, after reading CT's guess, I think he got it way better sussed out than I. I guess that's what I get for playing a guild girl instead of an assassin.

I see that while I was composing this, Lopov just popped on to confirm that wise CT is right.
