So as I sat around waiting for people to show up for the World Boss Daily in Vvardenfell, I realized that it's been three days in a row that I hadn't gotten a single motif from either the Temple or the Ashlander dailies. I also remembered the Crafting Monkey only has half of the Morag Tong Motifs.

Then I went shopping. No more stressing over world bosses. If the Squad's getting the motifs it'll be whenever cause there's no point in incomplete motifs. :V

Jerric had a blast last night riding around with a group of friends all in skeleton costumes. He was overdue for some silliness. And of course there was also a great deal of slayage.

Pog the Magnificent just became chief of a bunch of echatere herders. Hats off to the quest writers who not only recognized that he is an orc, but also gave him an option that I don’t remember being there for Jerric. Pog figures that his best move as chief is to go adventuring most of the time to maintain such a frightening reputation that no one will dare to mess with his clan while he is away. At least until his tribe remembers that he is supposed to have wives. Then he’ll want to go adventuring all of the time.

BWAAHAA! If it is the quest i am thinking of in Wrothgar - I heard it was only offered to Orc too; so was really surprised that they offered Misa the opportunity. It may have been broken by the Morrowind patch at the time I did it, but you are right - it is supposed to be race sensitive. (Misa ignored that question entirely, did NOT want to be chief of an Orc clan, lol).

Mira decided to put off questing for a while and has taken up residence in Kvatch to focus on crafting writs and Gladiatorial contests!

She got a few pieces of the Morihaus armor set from the two arena fights (a cuirass, shield, and ring) she participated in (Kvatch's blessedly doesn't have a "no looting defeated gladiators" rule ).

Congrats to Mira. The whole Gold Coast is a beautiful area to explore. I just so happened to have put a Morihaus ring into the guild bank this morning - but it's only blue and also CP160. Perhaps if she like and stays with Morihaus?

With most overland dropped sets you can farm the jewelry at dolmens and simply find or buy the other two pieces for a set. The problem with this one is that there are no dolmens to farm in the Gold Coast so that increases the challenge of finding what you want.

Also trying to cobble together a dropped set prior to CP160 is frustrating because it will be obsolete before you can complete the set.

Oh ok gotcha. Yeah it seems ok for Mira's purposes but Khajiit really just likes the looks of it, lol! Since Mira will be hanging out in the Gold Coast she'll do the quest to try to get the Minotaur style and Order of the Hour.

Having a quest change depending on your character's race is really, really cool and I wish it happened more often to avoid the weirdness of the vanilla questlines. Wrothgar showed the devs were listening.

'Course, when you get someone that tends not to stick on one place to be your chief, there will be issues. I hope the Orcs have some way of picking a replacement whenever their Chief happens to be one of those and screws off for far too long. but what if they come back to reclaim their title???

Come to think of it, I always thought the whole stronghold system was a Skyrim Orc thing, not a Wrothgar one. Retcons I guess. (But then Skyrim's just on the other side of the Druadachs, and it's several hundred years till the 3rd Era where the Stronghold thing is considered outdated and Orcs are more egalitarian)

Anyways, second the notion of the cute wolf carcass. I have the Crafting Monkey use a full set of...whatever the Medium armor set drops in the Gold Coast. I think I used to have some pieces of the other sets saved but eventually deconstructed them because i never used them. Hm.

I really do picture Jerric hugely enjoying tumbling through a mob and knocking them down!!!! Kudos to the Dev that thought that armor set bonus up! I'll bet it has given a lot of players a good laugh!

Not an armor set, but in the Mages Guild line there is an exploding rune that tosses the enemies up in the air 15 feet. It doesn't really do much damage to them, but stuns them for a few seconds. Every time I set that off, I am about rolling laughing at the result! I have it on Misa's Bow bar; and pair it with the shot that blows them back 15 feet. So first she blows them up, then when they charge her she hits them with that arrow and throws them back again. I have never laughed so hard in combat in my life! It is a riot to use!

So I know how much Jerric and you must love seeing the enemies being bowled down as Jerric comes tumbling through! I have tried to find a Youtube vid to see that working, but the only ones I found where showing it broken when it first came out, lol.

Aww man! Looming Shadows and Roar of the Crowd has to share the daily?!! Bollox. Did get an Assassin's League Axes motif from the big Minotaur guy, and an AL gloves motif from the Knight Commander dude, though.*

*Which turns out are completely useless to us right now since we don't have an assassin...

Yehap, can only do one or the other a day. Since there's only 2 world bosses in the zone it shouldn't be too hard to find someone asking for help in exchange for the quest share, though. Still, it makes getting even one of the Motifs a hassle.

Speaking of Motifs, the Crafting Monkey's down to only Buoyant Armiger and Militant Ordinator. There's no way I'm getting a full set of BA any time soon given the rarity and absurd price. Since I'm not actively hunting down chests in Vvardenfell, I wonder if I ever will outisde of another Anniversary event like this year's. Hm.

Anyway, I might get MO once I see what banking AP does to its price. Probably nothing but maybe the price will drop anyways because depreciating value. idk

I wonder if I'll ever have the highest possible Master Writ drop rate. I know Motif Knowledge droprate is incremental, but still.

Yay! Mira finally got an Order of the Hour motif page, lol! Boots!

Buffy got 5 free crates delivered to her this morning! She got a robe costume that is not horrible. She got a nix hound pet that is horrible. She got a dwarven monocle thing for one eye that is curious. She got a dwarven puzzle box that is fun. She also got quite a few 'consumables' (most notably a motif book for a style she doesn't like) that she was able to sell back to the cat so she now has 47 crown gems in case something comes up in the crate store she might like later. The gems for a possible future purchase and the puzzle box makes her happy - particularly since she didn't buy the crates anyway.

She also had a fun time opening up all those things!

We took the opportunity to peruse the 'crate store'. It seems they are in 'dwarven' mode now. I guess the inventory changes, but right now, there was nothing that drew her interest. No palomino horse nor butterfly pets.
