QUOTE(Dark Reaper @ Sep 26 2017, 10:13 AM) QUOTE(TheCheshireKhajiit @ Sep 26 2017, 10:05 AM) Congrats! Khajiit started last November.
Thanks---its funny people like my sister swear WoW is the MMORPG ever yet I played it for two weeks and got board with it and stopped playing. See quest in TESO have meaning and story to them someone gives you a quest that quest branches out and beyond. WoW's quest are like You go kill!, you go kill and then.....nothing else comes of it. You grind to get to the next level move on to next town repeat and nothing feels accomplished. TESO might have had a rough start but its gotten so much better now . Nah WoW is poo. Well, Khajiit says that but he's not sure how they may have changed the game since it's been almost a decade since he played it. It had its moments, like the beer thing and the Darkmoon festival was fun, but the game quickly got monotonous and almost job-like. This one was falling into a similar trap with ESO but the solo friendly nature allowed Khajiit to take a break from the grindy stuff.

* Misa can't go out in public due to a +32,000 bounty she got yesterday. By this morning it had barely dwindled down into the high upper 29,000 range, and that is with her skill points spent in "Swiftly Forgotten," lol.
So in order to do her daily Writs today, she had to do some fancy maneuvering. She was holed up in the (Reapers March) Rawl'kha Outlaw Refuge waiting out the bounty, but she is my highest crafter; and the best chance I have to get Master Writs - so this morning I took her sneaking down the river in Rawl'kha to a wayshrine (because most guards will not jump into water to come after you).
She went to Coldharbour where there is no law and she could walk around without worry - picked up her daily writs there (and crafted them all while there).
Then she took the wayshrine to the Craglorn wilderness and swam down the river to; then sneaked into Belkarth to hand in the writs. By clinging to the fringes of the turn-in spot she avoided detection by the guards there - turned in the Writs, then hid in between two rocks while she fast traveled back to the Sleek Creek house (because its back door is 20 feet from the door to the Rawl'kha Outlaw Refuge with no Guards to nab her).
She has a banker and merchant at the house there; (plus those in the Outlaw Refuge) = Was able to deposit her Master Writs for Bubba to "try his hand at doing." This will be the first time we test out the new "voucher depositing" banking function; so hope it works!
It will be 2 a.m. tonight before Misa will be able to fence any more items again; so far her one trip of stealing yesterday has netted 49,879 gold and she is still heavily loaded up with stolen goods. I doubt her bounty will be cleared for days; even with using up all my leniency edicts and phony pardons on it; but I will not spend any of the gold on a bounty that high, lol.
Britta is enjoying Misa's discomfiture though; she got to get out and run the Guild Store shelves last night, lol. And I'm sure Bubba will enjoy getting the chance to do Master Writs ... if he can do them, that is. He doesn't know near as many motifs as Misa does.

This happened a lot when I had the Crafting Monkey do the Dark Brotherhood questline and the daily sacrament for the motif. He's learned how to avoid the guards in Craglorn and before housing hit, the Hollow City was the best place for crafting and banking needs. (You can do it in Mournhold, too, but you gotta be careful in the forge area, and while the banking area is safe, getting in and out of the bank building is tricky, to say the least.) You can see it as a fun, new game mode. :V Anyways, congrats on the 3 years, Reaper. I reached my 2 year anniversary in May, myself.

QUOTE(Acadian @ Sep 26 2017, 08:36 PM) Buffy's very excited about getting three mystery crates full of presents! I won't let her actually buy any of the darn things but she loves getting the free ones. Lol, well Khajiit hopes she gets something worth while!

QUOTE(Grits @ Sep 26 2017, 09:13 PM) Lildereth’s favorite outfit is in the new crates, so she’s excited. I think we’ll have enough gems to buy it if we don’t get lucky. The free crates are fun, but after I saw the gem exchange rate I’m not interested in buying them. Even though Elke’s perfect hair was in the last set (but not for sale). Good luck with your crate opening tomorrow, everyone! Thanks G!

QUOTE(Acadian @ Sep 27 2017, 10:21 AM) Buffy got her three crates and had great fun opening them! Nothing that she will actually use inside though. Highlights were a Dominion Scout costume that is okay but not something she will likely use, and an adorable black and white guar pet - but again, Kitsune the vixen's place is not in jeopardy as Buffy's pet. Lol. A serpentine body tatoo (ugh) and a nice selection of consumables. She turned everything she could into crown gems, taking her total such gems from 7 to 16. Since the crates were gifts, she is very happy to have gotten them. You ask Khajiit, he believes they could raise the exchange rate for the gems. 25 lethal poisons for one gem? Come on throw us a frickin' bone here! Give us at least five gems! It's not like that's going to break them!
