Yesterday I got my newly acquired 12 bore blackpowder shotgun, the one I showed recently. A nice piece, besides the makeshift mending, and the hammers lock up firmly. I really like this one; it's the shotgun I always wanted from when I was an egg
 I also zeroed in the scope on my .30-06 so now it hits perfectly for the distance I usually hunt at. Used nine rounds in total. This post has been edited by mirocu: Aug 17 2019, 10:33 AM -------------------- Lol bird

I know I said I zeroed in my gun but man, I still had adjustments to make.
Day off today so I decided to put my rifle in a jig I made so I could really drive it home. First shot revealed I was off high and to the left. Might as well have been shooting one of my blackpowder revolvers. Managed to get it lowered, then righted and I was home. Three rounds in the center of the target and all touching each other by half. Can't do much better than that! -------------------- Lol bird

Can't do much better than that! How do you change that? I remember having a little 22 revolver that used to throw way high and right; I never knew you could fix something like that! Scope has two nobs you can turn in order to line it up with where the bullet hits. Quite simple. It's a little trickier wiht iron sights if you don't know how to adjust them, but not hard to learn.

The numbers show in what order I fired. I know the 4 looks like only two rounds but I did fire thrice. And this is my newly decked out rifle Close-up The cartridge holder is brand new and I absolutely love it! -------------------- Lol bird

Not really I'd say. If anything it's much easier to draw it like a sword due to the long barrel so it may even be faster. Didn't plan to be a gunslinger though
