Some people just can't imagine others would play a game differently from the way they do. My argument was if food like Cram and Sugar Bombs are still edible after 210 years, then she can probably walk into a Super Duper Mart, kill some ghouls, and grab some hair dye off the shelves.

Tenpenny is a great example, and so is the Strip in New Vegas, or any NCR location. Cleaned, powered, lived in, and thriving.

All the vanilla raiders in Fallout 3 have gloriously quaffed punk hairstyles. There was clearly no shortage of dye or gel in the Capital Wasteland, at least according to Bethesda.

After learning some holidays are recognized in this game I found this picture of a pumpkin on one of the homes near Vault 111 on Halloween, so now I'm wondering if some raider painted it for the occasion, or if it's always on this particular home....

I believe the jack-o’-lantern person image is supposed to be a Halloween decoration from before the bombs fell, as I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it in other places in the Commonwealth. Must’ve been made out of some tough stuff. Lol

According to the lore, the Great War took place on October 23rd, 2077. So those are decorations that people had up for Halloween when the bombs fell.

It is great to see GenJenn-X hanging in Bahstan. Maybe she will bump into Blood Raven in her wanderings.

Jennifer's home is an abandoned trailer behind Abernathy Farm

Jenn retrieved the power armor from Concorde and is going to be experimenting with this armor, none of mine have ever worn PA in past games. It's partially because this game is so much harder than Fallout 3 and I'm sick of seeing my toon get pwned! Jenn seems to prefer it for travel, but will continue to sport her greaser jacket + Jeans during downtime.

While in Concorde we got a message saying Abernathy was attacked! She moseyed back to the farm slowly. I don't fast-travel, which seems to be the idea here. Anyway, now that she's back I don't see evidence of an attack. No corpse enemies, etc. And none of the farmers mentioned an attack. But still.... Jenn is now torn whether to just stay on the farm waiting in her spiffy new armor for an attack; like she's now their bodyguard or something. So she's between staying on the farm or going for a real long walk! All the missions so far are on the other side of the map, and maybe she'll feel more confident travelling the Commonwealth in power armor. Not sure yet.

The power armor in FO4 is different from the other Fallout games. It is not simply clothing or armor that you wear, it is more like a vehicle that you drive. It even has a separate power source, Fusion Cores, that you can take from generators around the Commonwealth. It is not something I use very often, mainly just for big missions.

Dang it, yinz are making me want to play this again, too! Been a while since I had a toon in the 'Wealth!

Great shots! I love that Jenn is in that trailer. There is a cabin nearby if you don't mind a sad story and a skeleton!

My oh my, Jenn X returns and what is one the first things she does? She announces her return by blowing up a car for all the world to see!

Heh heh heh, Jenn X did it! Defeated the deathclaw in Concorde... no power armor, no minigun. She got it with her dual-barrelled shotgun!!! She explored the town a bit and found the Speakeasy. This place has a balcony which has a better angle into the street below than the museum, but not good enough. The monster never came into view so she braved the street again. Turns out, the ruined building next to the Speakeasy has an even better view. The deathie was initially below the street in some pit, but eventually it got curious and began running in plain view.... yea eat some buckshot, deathie!

...stupid Cosworth was flying all over place down below, idiotic bot! But mostly the deathclaw kept running in place, trying to get into the building Jenn X was using. It pretty much ignored Cosworth after a couple swats, so all Jenn had to do was keep firing into the beast literally making an easy target for my scavenger.

Here's the closest Jenn'll ever come to teabagging an enemy. wicked Epic!

I like how rain streaks down the glass partition (lens?) between me and my character. Gimmicky, but I like it! Can't find that pic though. Bummer.

....and of course, Lopov'd, sort of Jenn is following Preston and the other survivors now, this seems like it'll be fun!

Jenn is not so much tea-bagging the Deathclaw, as she is standing inside of it because it is so huge. Cowabunga!

When you are wearing powered armor in the rain, you can see raindrops making little beads of water on your hud, just like it does on the windshield of a car. It really brings home the feeling that you are driving a vehicle when you are in the power armor.

With her outfit she kind of looks like a mobster. She should get a fedora to round out the look.
