Hey!
I basically added this as Fallout 4 screenshots may get confused in the general thread... and seeing as the Fallout 4 players on here are quite small for now I thought it would be nice for us to have our own separate space so our screenies don't get drowned out in the screenies on the general thread  (not that FO3 &NV screenies aren't gorgeous of course! |

Sweet power armor!!
Is that the mod which is a 700MB download? I am pretty sure that none of us on Xbox One have the room left for that download.  I love the grass and foliage. It looks the opposite of my game, lol. That is the really awesome part of the modding community, tailoring to our needs!-------------------- Games I am playing-

It was 800MB when I first downloaded it, takes up almost as much room as all of my other mods combined. I think the Red Sun pic mALX is referring to is just a sunset pic I took with my modded FO3 weather, which I made more colorful than the vanilla game.
Wow, the gore level is high! Looks like Persephone disarmed that guy. That is a neat handgun. Is it a Desert Eagle? It seems odd to see the Brotherhood in Vertibirds, but I am sure they captured a lot of them from the Enclave after the events of Broken Steel. That is a long way down! But at least there is a mattress at the bottom! Off the map looks the same as in any Beth game. Still, I like that you can actually go off the map. Most games very strictly curtail where you can move to. If it was a little redder, I would say that planet was Mars! It is cool to see Boston in the distance. I can even make out the Brotherhood's giant floating Heading home looks the best. I love the purple sky and the ominous red splash along the horizon. -------------------- |

RadStorms look great though I doubt they feel the same.
Oh no, why did Matlock have to die?  I bet it must be fun bringing down vertibirds! While the USA suffered heavily during the Great War, it looks like Canada's been through much worse, there's literally absolutely NOTHING left.  Love the snow and red sunset in the final pic. Acadian- Yes, the billboards are still really neat in Fallout. I always read each one as I come across it. They always seem charming and fun. The snow effect was coming down in that last pic. Unfortunately Beth decided to leave out the nice snow animation from Skyrim, just how silly is that? Last winter I checked it did snow in Boston...
SubRosa- The handgun is indeed the Desert Eagle. The person who made the mod put the best ever sound to it. The gun booms like a Dirty Harry gun and has echoed in my sleep after many long-night gaming sessions. When you start playing the PC version make sure you try it out.mALX- I have yet to try that test area under the Wizard's Tower plug-in. I must boot up Oblivion and give that a go. It is amazing just how many things you folk know about Beth games. I am still learning! The beds in FO4 are the same as the last game. I am pretty sure that ownership does not change to you. But with so many settlements and campsite mods there is always a place to sleep so it doesn't really matter. Lopov- Matlock! I love it. He Vertibirds are a strange one in this game. Yes, they look great when they are attacking from the sky but they always have really low health. Most times they just spin in the sky with Brotherhood people falling out the side before crashing landing right on top of the character. A mod can be used to increase their health. ** Okay, a few things are changed up this week. I am now using the Spring plug-in for Vivid Weathers and the Spring in the Commonwealth grass mod. I am also testing the Darker Nights mod to see whether I like it better. Still early days as I only downloaded it yesterday. There is now grass everywhere and it gives the Commonwealth a very different look. Spring in the Commonwealth Warmer weather A Raider Sunset Look what Chalice found! Is it This Desert Eagle? I just downloaded it to save for later. Along with a Healthier Brahmin mod.
Springtime for Hitler, and Germany... I see our old friend the Chinese Assault Rifle makes a reappearance in FO4. The waterfront looks really neat in the Warmer pic. What is that thing that looks like the Washington Monument in the background? Raider sunset would look really nice. If not for the suspended body! A vaultgirl bobblehead! I love it! The swamps look pretty barren, like it's winter. Doggies! Someone has been having too much fun with the mannequins... What a great plug! Is that from a mod you made? Or can you spell out anything with the neon lights? -------------------- |

Commonwealth looks much more alive with new mods you're using but also less creepy because of better visibility.
Looks like raiders aren't hanged only in Capital & Mojave Wasteland. Is it possible to board that zeppelin? It's the Big Guns Bobblehead - a girl edition. I believe the zeppelin is the Brotherhood of Steel's base, which you do board if you join/ally with them. I have seen vids with people on it.

SubRosa- Yes, that is the Desert Eagle! You will love it.
I recommend all the gun mods from that author except the M1911. It just feels too small in the hand. I also like that Brahmin skin you found. It looks sweet!The Washington Monument type building is Bunker Hill. It is a trader post that you can drop into when you decide to take a break. I spend a lot of time either going to or from there. The game has heaps of neon signs, light boxes, writing etc, and you can spend half the game just playing with the settlement features. I have rarely touched it but thought a Chorrol sign would be neat! Lopov- Yes, the Commonwealth feels so different now that winter has left. I really love the grass mod and give it a thumbs up. As SubRosa has said, the zeppelin is the home base of the Brotherhood of Steel. I have boarded it only a few times just to confirm that they are still pompous fools. Chalice is mainly working for the Railroad and testing the water with the Institute. She is planing to make life very hard for the Brotherhood! The bobbleheads are only male in the Bethesda game. I grabbed the mod as soon as I saw it. It just makes more sense for a female character to care about the female ones. Besides, they do look like mini versions of Chalice. Acadian- Thanks! Do not worry about not having played the game. Beth games are Beth games. Just a few more explosions here. Chalice is not as precise as Buffy. I did add the Bobble to the stand collection, I think I have about 9 or 10 out of the 20 now.Renee- The rad storms are sensational with Vivid Weathers. I hear that the other mod, True Storms, will be coming out soon on Xbox. I cannot wait to test that. The game has really cool neon signs and letters and you can write over all the walls of your settlements if you choose! mALX- Thanks! I am glad that you are enjoying the Fallout journey towards summer! ** I have a spare weekend this weekend so will post some more pics! Darker Nights mod is really neat. The dark is dark so you need to use either your pipboy light or a flashlight when you explore. The pics probably do not do it credit, but in game it is spot on for what I was looking for. Each light, whether a settlement or drink machine becomes a beacon of shelter in the claustrophobic dark. A beacon in the night Flashlight It is dark outside the light! Sunset at Sanctuary Here comes a problem! Job done! Where is the Deathclaw? Moving in Another view of Chorrol! Those nights are really dark, I wouldn't like a ghoul creeping on me from utter darkness.

Heh, my theory on why Beth doesn't make their vanilla nights overly dark is that doing so hides the great graphics. Those dark nights are neat, but the day shots really show all the graphic goodness. Are the windows in game see-through to outside?

That is really dark and creepy. I wouldn't like playing with it that dark though. Besides my eyes not being as young as they used to be (eyestrain), I like seeing the game I am playing. I always think that when developers hide their games in fog (like Morrowind) or darkness (Doom 3), they must be ashamed of their game, since they don't want me to see it.
That is an amazing Sanctuary sunset! Uh oh, Alpha Deathclaw, and is that just a 10mm Pistol that Chalice has! Oh I guess it is an Explodo-Deathclaw Pistol! It looks like the end of Jaws! This must be a great game for Red Sox fans! I wonder how New Yorkers feel about it? It's back to Casa Chorrol! Neat picture of the ballpark on the wall. -------------------- |
