It's so funny, I looked back at the beginning of this thread three years ago and I posted that we were making straight nacatamales, instead of fusing them with pasteles.
Well, they wound up fused. My dad apparently can't help himself. š¤¦š½āāļø He prefers pasteles. But this year! We are doing plain and simple nacatamales. Like, for sure for sure. We have our tree and honestly, I've never had any trouble with the cats. The worst they do is try to drink the water, but we cover it so they can't get to it. Thanks Decrepit! I enjoyed the linky - very similar to the trip I take when I go downtown Chicago via Metra! Only my trip takes an hour and a half (as compared to a 2 - 2.5 hour drive plus looking for parking), and not as scenic!
