This thread can be used to discuss the soon-to-be-created PC NA guild, so as not to clog up the other areas of the forum.

First order of business is a name. Drop any ideas in here or shoot me a message and I'll chuck them all into a strawpoll some time and everyone can vote on it.

Names can include spaces and punctuation but not numbers, and there is a limit of 25 characters.

Quite enjoyed the NA guild meeting this evening. Ghastley's puter is down but he was on discord. Grits and I were in game and voice. So the three of us chatted fashion and puters for an hour or so. Then mALX showed up and we introduced her to endeavors and got her 3/3 endeavors for the day. I had to go at that point but it looked like others stayed on for a time.

Thanks to those who made it and we missed those who could not make it.

I'm sad that I will miss this month's guild meetings. I was going to propose a Companion fashion show!

We'll miss you, Grits! A companion fashion show is a great idea. I'm guessing the EU guild could maybe look at some event dailies as it is the last day of the event. The NA meeting will be after the event ends though. That said, Elden Hollow I is one of the pledges that day which is a nice, comfy one if we like and our numbers are not >4.

I hope to be at both meetings, but wait: If Grits can't come, has Generalissimo Franco come back to life yet? (Ghastley's computer up and running yet; and able to sign into his own account yet)? I can't be the only one who shows up at the Guild Meet, all chaos could ensue without proper leadership, lol.

Expect chaos.

Machine ordered, but not yet delivered. I was expecting shipment on 7/30, but there was no update on that, so I called them, and the tech I needed to talk to was out to lunch. I will be re-trying soon, and may have more info for the meet. At least discord works on the (work) laptop, so I can attend in voice.

My new machine was delivered today, and is just as dead as the old one. It fails in POST, and never shows the BIOS logo, just like the one it was supposed to replace.

I await a call back from cyberpowerpc to help me determine what needs replacing. I hope it will not be the video card, as they are scarce.

If you want, you can visit Shonta Quassan's magic snowglobe at the next guild meeting. I think that I've set requirements correctly. I almost definitely won't be there because of the difference in timezones, I'm already deep asleep at that hour, but if you want, you're more than welcome in his home, so you can have a look at, where he lives. The home isn't yet completely finished, especially not the exterior zone, but we've come a long way. But no worries, even if I won't be there, there are plenty of beings in Shonta's home and even one Factotum.

Oh and the music is good too.

As mentioned elsewhere, new machine works. ESO is re-installed and running, but I need an adapter before I
can plug in all three monitors. I should be in full operation before the next meets.

We need one of each, and then all the Eyevea and Earth Forge sets will be complete. Fleur has a 200 voucher jewel writ that needs a few iridium grains so she is close to another, too.

Yay, we're getting so close to full sets! I sent a woodworking station, since Elke has a 52 voucher writ for Orgnum's Scales woodworking. That will get her I think 20ish away from another station. And she has another writ waiting only for a trait to finish research.

Orgnum’s woodworking station placed. Thanks! And we have the jewel station, so Orgnum’s is complete.

Just the Blacksmith and Clothier for Shalidor to go, and we will have to pick a new set.

Edit: Just bought a Blacksmith one.

Edit again: Grits' Brynja provided a Clothier, so now Eyevea is done, too. This probably means IC is next. (Redistributor, Nobles Conquest, and Armor Master sets) but it may not be the best time to go there.

Reminder: EU meet tonight, NA tomorrow!

Any suggestions/plans, other than chat?

Buffy'll be at the NA one tomorrow. I'm guessing the EU folks might be able to do some event dailies for goodies maybe but the event ends before the NA meeting.

So for the NA meeting, the only thing that pops to mind is if someone has a WB or several that need turning from black to white on the map, we could see about that. Or is anyone is farming some particular dungeon set from a manageable dungeon like when ghastley was farming VoM for Rattlecage. Another thought might be to meet at some easy spot where there are no companion restrictions (unlike towns or homes) - like Boralis wayshrine in northern Rivenspire. That would enable companion fashion showing.

I still farm VoM, but only for a resto staff. Blossom and Bastian like doing that one. As a tank, he doesn’t hurt the Cursed One enough to bother her.
