Guild Discussion Options

Since I posted last, it occurs the current event ends the 8th and during the event you can get purple boxes by doing stuff with guildies. Therefore, we may want to keep the NA meeting on Tues the first while the event is till ongoing. Either of the potential EU dates are during the event.

So I guess I'm recommending the 1st for NA and either of the other dates for EU.

The 1st for NA, certainly. I'll be there 30th and 7th for EU just in case nobody reads this.

Agree on the 1st for NA.

Given that the 30th is only one day away and that the default for EU would be the 7th, I'd imagine the EU folks will want to simply stay on the default schedule (7th).

I plan to be there tomorrow too, maybe we'll just call it an extra meetup.

I also plan to be at the NA event Tuesday and am so far free on the 7th.

I'm good with any of those dates.

Ditto; although the new GPU is not working very well. So far my PC keeps fatal crashing to complete system down and needing reboot. Then sometimes it won't reboot until I shut the surge protector completely off; wait several seconds, then turn it back on again. When the game is working it seems to keep "snagging," freezing up, twice on my EU account my character got stuck and I couldn't walk forward/sideways/backward = had to reloadUI to get it to work. Really not sure if the GPU is faulty or what. I also did get a new SSD Terabyte but the game was not moved over at all; it is on the same SSD drive it has always been on, urgh.

Also, although this graphics card is WAY higher level/newer than what I had, I had to lower all the settings to the lowest to get it to play. (so my graphics look like they did before the eye surgery now, all blurry and jagged edges).

Bonus EU Guild meetup tonight! I plan to be there, but I might slide in on two wheels a few minutes late.

The second EU meet got Cybbi the jewels and ice staff for Crimson Oath's Rive, so she is trying Vateshran Arena to get Void Bash to go with it. With Turning Tide and Nazaray, that should work well.

Of course she is struggling with a solo arena, having little dps. The mechanics are time-consuming, too, with too many ways to wipe if you fumble, or miss a cue.

Just discovered that doing normal Lep Seclusa entitles you to buy a boat furnishing. Can we pencil that in for the next guild meetings? Until something more important turns up, anyway.

Buffy didn't know what a Lep or a Seclusa was so I looked it up for her and discovered 'tis a Hews Bane group dungeon. If someone knows where they're going and sort of what the mechanics are, Buffy'll be happy to try and help at the next NA guild meeting.

Meetings 4th for EU, and 5th for NA, at the usual time and place.

The boat I would like us all to get seems to be the same as the one between the path and the dock as you go to Bad Man's Hallows. Redguard style, so there probably more examples in Sentinel, but I haven't gone to look.

Jerric plans to attend both assaults on Lep Seclusa.

EU meeting was quite successful, doing both Lep Seclusa, and its sibling Exiled Redoubt (twice).

The boat has been installed at the Guildhall, which meant adding some dock structure.



The picture was taken before cluttering, to avoid obscuring the view of the boat. The dock adds a ramp for climbing out after diving, which shortens the route back up to the diving board considerably.

The new boat is beautiful! It was fun getting it on both servers.

It looks like our September EU guild meetup falls on Labor Day for the US. That is no problem for me, as we will be back from our festivities in the afternoon.
