"Ah, if it isn't Anthanes." Niran said, unsheathing his sword, even though his arm still hurt a bit after it was healed by Serene.

He kicked Anthanes in the stomach and put his sword to his throat.

"Now, three reasons I shouldn't kill you. Come on now, be hasty."

Sel put his own sword to Niran's throat.

"One."

(OOC: That was kinda cool.)

Niran's eyes looked down at Sel's blade, and he removed his sword frome above Anthanes neck.

"You'll regret this Sel, letting someone like him live."

"Hmm. You know what? Kill me. I can't think of any reasons. Maybe I'll have my vengeance on Arcyakt as a ghost instead. Has some additional benefits too, being a ghost, when it comes to getting vengeance. Though not very on any other part. Come on, kill me. I know you want to."

Sel put his sword away. "Maybe. Maybe not." he replied to Niran. "but everyone deserves a second chance."

Niran smiled, almost evily.

"Oh really," then he shoved Sel down and threw his dagger at Sel's hand, the one he held his sword with.

"That should occupy you for awhile."

Then he put his sword back at Anthanes throat

"Come now, you still have to give me three reasons."

"Bastarde." Sel spat at Niran while pulling the dagger from his arm. "Now I'm thinking that we'll regret it letting you live." he said, wincing and bleeding profusely.

He threw the dagger as far away as he could before putting his sword into his left hand.

"I guess this duel has been long delayed..."

OOC: yah i was thinking that anthanes was beginning to sound like Niran at the cave.

IC: Megil knocked an arrow into this bow,

"Let him go Niran, if you don't I'll shoot, and at this close of a range the arrow will fly so fast you will hve no time to block it."

Megil aim with surgical precision for Nirans neck,

"You have gone absolutely mad, look at you. You stabbed Sel you've fought with konrad, now what are you going to go after Celia next. We are all on the same side here, we are all against arkaytc(sp.), and we are going to need all the strength we can get to bring him down. Now I don't want to shoot you, but trust me I will not hesitate when the time comes."

All of a sudden, Anthanes' feet raised from the ground as he gave a lightning-fast and rather painful kick to Niran's groin with his boots. Hoping to have bought a few seconds of time, he gets himself up and draws his silver longsword. "If that's the way you want it then..."

Sel didn't move, letting it play out. Anthanes scored a nasty hit to Niran - that would be hurting for awhile.

He held his arm close to his stomach, trying to stem the blood flow.

(OOC: I'll let all of you imagine what Niran's reaction to the blow from Anthanes was, but as for Megil)

"I find it funny that you would kill me for this bastarde, no wait. It's believable, all of you want to kill me. Go ahead and shoot." However, Niran had moved when struck by Anthanes (that was just wrong!) and the arrow would now hit his shoulder.

"Shoot, because I'm sure as hell not going to stop."

Anthanes dropped himself into a combat stance, preparing to block Niran's strikes with his longsword. Despite his lack of magic he was still a rather capable warrior. "Strike the first blow, Niran..." , the Half-Dunmer grunted.

This man was mad, absolutely crazy. There was no choice now but to physically stop him. He didn't want to kill Niran, but he was going to far, this would be the third injury to be inflicted in one day all from fighting within the group. Even though he hated to do it he knew he had to. He aimed lower down and sent an arrow at Nirans leg, right above the kneecap. It wouln't be lethal but it would disable him. as the first flew fromt eh bow he knocked another one in place and aimed for his other leg. He let the second arrow go too.
Megil then yelled, "Celia, Serene we need your aid up here. Bring all your healing herbs, potions and scrolls."

Anthanes shaked his head watching Niran become incapicated. "Think before you act...And sorry about those wounds" , he said, appearantly sincerely as he donned his cloak and began walking into the Ashlands...Into the nearest concealed position where he continued watching them undetected.

Sel was half tempted to shove his sword into Niran's arm, but resisted, and instead spat on him while he was lying down on the ground.

"Sorry, but I need this too." he said as he tore off a large portion of Niran's sleeve to use as a bandage for his own arm.

(OOC: Well there goes another poriton of it, the first part was when Konrad cut his stomach! The shirt he's wearing isn't exactly inexpensive, his father was a merchant after all. They were very wealthy.)

Niran spat back.

"And you'll be mending it, idiot."

Niran attempted to stand and used a tent as support, it seemed steady enough, and he still had his sword.

He thrust at Sel, directly as his stomach, catching him unprepared.

Megil's face was quite stern. He watched Niran struggle to stand up and Sel walking away. All he had to say was,

"Niran, if anyone is an idiot it is you. I warned you, and I could tell you expected it to be an empty threat. now you know that I take my threats very seriously. In combat I will not hesitate. As much as I hate to say it, you deserved both of those shots."

With that Megil headed back towards the fire hoping to get Serene or Celia to come and help. He left the fool leaning against the post unable to walk for two arrows stuck above the kneecaps.
