ooc: Will be edited should Gamer/Konrad's post conflict
"I am someone you know, but you do not know who, or do you?" , Anthanes said, still twisting his voice. "I shot Niran in the arm so that he could no longer use it, although it seems I have failed."

OOC: since mine and anthanes's conversation is nto linked to duel we will skipp you fighters . IC: "I may know, but the person whom I suspect you to be would have the feeling of Magicka around him. You have no Magicka I can detect. Everything seems to hint at who you are: you're deceitful by changing your voice, a coward for hiding while launching an attack, you wear heavy armor, and you tried to disable Niran. Your arrows are black a dark color to match an equally dark soul. Tell me Anthanes how long will you lurk in the shadows watching us?" Megil was pretty sure this was anthanes, but wasn't positive. the absence of Magicka was the only proof he had that this could be someone other than Anthanes. OOC: right, well megil relly can't tell can he since it all hidden beneath a black robe anyways.
Megil couldn't help but let out a small laugh,
"Hmm not Anthanes then," he said half sarcastiaclly, "If you say so stranger"
Only Anthanes would say something like "Anthanes? I've never heard of him, though he sounds like a handsome fellow." So megil was now certain this man was in fact Anthanes, but either something had gone terribly wrong and he couldn't access his magicka, or perhaps he was using a spell of illusion to hide it from Megil, he wasn't certain which it was.
"There are far stranger things lurking the corners and shadows of this camp than men in dark garbs"
Megil sat down and leaned against the pole of a nearby yurt.
"I'm not leaving you just yet, not until those two finish their duel." Megil said to the 'Anthanes who claimed not to be Anthanes'

Megil continued to watch the man.
"I won't tell the others you know," he told the stranger, "They have no reason to know"
He had heard the tale Sel and Niran told him of the battle and Anthanes almost calling forth boesthiah (sp.), but Megil chose to give the battlemage a second chance. besides without his magic he was a handicapped warrior.
"Tell me Anthanes, why are you following us? Are you bent on defeating Arkyatc(sp.) now that he has personally humiliated you and so you follow us, yet will not show yourself for fear of how the others will react after the way you treated them?"
Megil was being sympathetic towards the battlemage, an approach he knew could anger the man, yet despite treading on thin ice he continued to probe this man trying to coax him into revealing his true identity.

Niran's hand obviously didn't stay still, so Konrad missed the wrist but cut at his palm. Niran dropped his sword and fell to the ground clutching his stomach as the blood soaked his uniform. (OOC: You won because of Anthanes ) This post has been edited by gamer10: Jul 13 2005, 10:07 PM

"Can't say I blame you for hiding your identity, I hear there's quite some hatred towards you after you sent the fireball at serene".
Megil continued to watch anthanes, but ocassionally glanced to the duel going on in the background. He knew the group should not fight amongst iself, but he figured if he let this duel play out, Niran and konrad would come to an agreement of some sort. He watched as a spray of blood trailed after Konrads blade passed by Niran's stomach, he then watched Niran collapse.
"See they didn't kill each other," he said to Anthanes.
OOC: i'm assuming that it was included in the story sel and niran told him earlier

(OOC: I'll pretend Celia was sleeping during the whole Telvanni battlething, m'kay?)
After Serene and Jonacin ran off, Celia was left behind in the Ashlanders' camp. Having no luck in finding Sel in any of the tents and Megil was still dozing when she last checked, she had decided to sleep for a few hours.
After several moments of rest, Celia goggily woke up. She thought she heard loud shuffling from outside, but was still sleepy to care. She rubbed her eyes, and decided to check on her patient. However, Megil was not in his tent...
Growing alarmed, she wandered the camp/tribe for the missing patient.
