Megil glanced at Anthanes as he appeared in the room. then to his surprise, watched as Otik shot him in the leg. Megil rolled his eyes.

"Why would you go shooting him for. you should be more cautious about where you shoot that thing."

He then turned his attention back to the sword, konrad, and the others.

"Perhaps it should not go to Konrad, The thing is afterall cursed. If I am to assume correctly it would take one of great strength and knowledge to overcome the damaging effects of the blade. Though I hardly consider Anthanes a worthy candidate, or Niran for that matter, and Otik well look at what he just did, I doubt he could use the sword properly and would probably end up accidently slicing someone in two.. Speaking of Niran, where are he and Celia"

with that he sat back and let the others debate the matter of the sword.

OOC: be back got to finish adding the colorwash to the door.

Niran came running into the room, pulling Celia by the arm behind him he said

"Right here," giving an annoyed glare to Megil, he stopped and took a deep breath, still holding Celia's arm.

"If I may make a suggestion," Niran said, and he let go of Celia, stepping behind her.

(OOC: I think it would be interesting if Celia got it. )

Konrad watched the ragged entrance of Niran, then stared at Celia.

She is not worthy of it! She is healer anyway, not a fighter.

"Ludicrous!" he told Niran. "I think it should go to Sel! We should take it back to camp for him."

Anthanes smirked thoughtfully.

"Hmm...I do not believe that Celia has any need of a sword, or any weapon for that matter, and Sel'd most likely say that it'd belong with someone else. That leaves a few choices..."

Am I starting to sound selfish? I don't want to be selfish...though I really think I should have that sword, if only Serene'd trust me enough...Heh, getting her out of my mind whilst she screamed - in her thoughts anyway was vengeance enough. Humiliation's better than dead, heh.

Serene didn´t know what to do....the enchantment of the sword was massive, massive ice-storm..so to say....when used it immediately got the victim totally deep frozen....

Really she wanted Jonacin to have it, he was by far the most worthy one...or maybe Sel also would have been a good choice

Thus she knew Anthanes badly wanted it.....

Niran whistled loudly to focus the attention on Celia again,

"Listen everyone, why would you need a sword. For only one reason of course, to kill others. I suggest we put the sword in the hands of someone who cannot use it."

(OOC: Now, what exactly does it's enchantment do? Otherwise Niran won't be making any sense if it's just another normal sword.)

Anthanes sneered. Although the battlemage has lost his coldness and cruelty, his acid tongue remained.

"Odd that -you- are the one with objections to killing... I wonder if we're going to make use of the sword to help slay Arcyakt and whomever happens to be on his side, or if we're going to keep it around as decoration."

"Shutup Anthanes, at least I did not murder a bunch of innocent women and children." Niran spat angrily, his hand going to the hilt of his sword.

Anthanes rolled his eyes. "That was the previous Anthanes. I thought you understood this."

I bet that she'll hand it to her pet warrior, even while he doesn't need any material swords and is unstoppable regardless of what he's using. I hate favoritism.

Anthanes sighed. "It's not my fault the Legions consist of empty-headed fools. Can we get back to determining who gets the artifact?"

OOC: How do you know about Arcyatk if you have a 9 year ago memory?

"It's been determined," Niran said forcefully, unsheathing his sword "Either someone who can't use it gets it, or I destroy it!"

[Konji]

Konrad drew his sword and stood in front of Niran. "Who are you to decide? You have only just seen it!"

"Who are you to decide," Niran said angrily, "You're just a child!" He pushed Konrad down, and stepped over him, coming closer to Serene.

Konrad growled, and hacked at Niran's calfs.

Niran jumped away, turning angrily back at Konrad.

"Stop it!"

[Konji]

Konrad rose quickly, getting into an attacking stance facing Niran. "Don't push me. The whole group thinks either Jonacin or Sel should have it, seeing as Anthanes can't be trusted. It would be pointless giving it to Celia."

Niran sheathed his sword, and ignored konrad.

He turned back to Serene

"Well if that's so, then fine." he sighed and stepped back to Celia, hoping they would gain some sense.

Whoever can use it will use it, and not for the purposes you specify. Such a powerful item will give whoever has it the longing to use it for personal benefit.
