Lydia and Kirin visit the Eldergleam, cool. This is a quest I've only recently done (which means... within the past couple years

). Once on Xbox and once on PC. In the start of this chapter it says Kirin hasn't been to Whiterun in ten years. Where is he from, originally?
The writeup when Kynareth appears is fabulous, Kane. None of this (the song, Kyne herself...) appears in the game, but it definitely fits.
QUOTE
“The truth of the matter is simple… I never left. Scholars, historians, and zealots have preached for thousands of years that we Divines fled to Aetherius in our entirety, once we learned of our sacrifice to Nirn’s existence. But after what they did to my husband Shor, I could never leave this place. I aided him fully in his endeavor and Nirn is as much a part of me as it was a part of him.”
A moment of silence followed her words, as Kirin and Lydia dwelled on their newfound knowledge. They were stunned to think that Divines could still be among them, their very existence a secret.
That's incredible. Indeed, Aedra and Daedra can be everpresent if they want to be.
Dragon fighting in particular had a way of upping the adrenaline levels and really making a combatant sweat quite profusely.Hey, do ya think?
5/22: am up to the part when the dragon attacks Riverwood. Laughs at Kirin as he runs toward it, but is surprised to get shouted at by Kirin as well. Is a nice touch that each time he absorbs another soul, Kirin must rest. Quite a lot.
Lydia's by his side, making tea & biscuits when he awakes. At this point, I wonder if Kirin & Lydia are heading toward marriage. I know it's a housecarl's job to be paired with his or her thane, but still.
A tall female Altmer immediately walked toward him to introduce herself and the first thing Kirin though was, she wears way too much makeup.Ha ha ha!
Am up to [url=Immediately, Kirin knows this hawk is Kyne, or sent from Kyne, interesting. Lydia doesn't seem surprised at this point at all.
Uh oh, they're going to the Ratway!
QUOTE
“Why in Divines name would anyone want to have a bar in a foul smelling pit like this?” gasped Lydia. “This is the foulest air I’ve ever had the misfortune to breathe!”
“I suspect the guild likes it that way...less chance of someone bothering to put a stop to them.”
Yes, good point. Okay, I vaguely remember this quest. Well, is this part of the Main Quest, heading into Ratway to meet Esbern? Yep, seems so.
Am up to A Lofty Goal
