During my ponderings I realized that the late Felsen's helm alone wasn't going to do the trick. Therefore, after selling my moon sugar and skooma to a local Khajiiti merchant, I entered the armorer's shop and purchased a cuirass, greaves, and boots of the same material, which the armorer said was called 'Bonemold'. I left the armorer's shop and went to the Silt Strider platform. Some hours later, I emerged from the platform and my first thought on the reddish sky and the ash storm was that the Apocalypse was beginning. Realizing it was just a natural occurance in these parts, I quickly ducked into the shadows behind a building, taking off my cloak and putting the armor on. I adapted the brisk stride I saw the local city guards using, giving only a curt nod when they hailed me. I then entered the building referred to as 'Skar', a hollowed out shell of a giant crab that housed the wealthy of Ald'ruhn. It was not hard to find the Redoran council building, and inside Neminda was quite easy to find. She closely resembled Elone, the scout I met in Seyda Neen.
"Ah, Felsen." , she said. "I was expecting you."
"Well..." I began. "You know me, Neminda...I am an orphan of Arnesia..."
"Good." Neminda smiled as she took a sealed scroll from a nearby chest.
"Take these orders to Maar Gan. Don't let them fall into the hands of another House! They're of some importance!"
I nodded and marched out of the Skar, grinning widely under my obscuring helmet. I ducked behind a building and replaced the armor for my usual black cloak, then took the Silt Strider back to Balmora.

QUOTE pray that Serene will never find out That'd be interesting...Also, I think it takes place quite some time before Serene joins up with the Redoran.

It was dark when I got off the silt strider. Gliding through the shadows, I quickly entered the Hlaalu Government Building, documents in hand. With a triumphant look, I handed them to Nileno.
"Exxxcelent, Locke. Keep the helmet, and here are fivehundred septims in reward."
"Thank you, Nileno..." , I began.
"Also, Locke...By performing this task, you qualify for the rank of Retainer."
My wide grin must have given away my feelings about this as she continued: "I hereby name you a Retainer of the Great House Hlaalu. Keep up the good work. Now, I must decode this...Meet me here tomorrow." She gave a dismissing gesture, and I exited the structure, pondering what to do next. I then decided to investigate if there were any houses that offered intimate services in the city.

To my luck, such services were available in Balmora. Though some who have the misfortune of reading this might wish for me to go into details I will not. I emerged a few hours after dawn near the Hlaalu building, somewhat unrested. Nileno smirked at my status. "Ah, Locke. Good you're here. I have another job for you to do. I need you to go to Vivec and... acquire some alchemical recipes."
"Alchemical recipes?" , I inquired.
"Yes." , she said. "Aurane Frernis is a succesful alchemist in Vivec's foreign quarter. It would be in our best interests to find some notes or recipes for her potions - we have interests in the alchemy business in that area. "
I nodded and went to leave, but Nileno had more to say.
"While you're in Vivec you might want to seek out Edryno Arethi. She's a loyal and skilled member of House Hlaalu and might have business opportunities for you."
I nodded, pleased with this information, and proceeded to walk to the Silt Strider.
