read aki's post below before this one "Brat," Osano said about Konrad. He turned his attention back to the city only to see an axe coming at him. He quickly brought up his left arm and swatted the axe down; cutting his arm but drawing no blood. He squinted in the direction it came from only to see the man in glass armor who attacked him earlier. Osano jumped off the wall and sprinted towards Ryan. Right before he struck him, Osano heard a very loud yell. Surprised (he never heard a tongue befoe), he turned towards the battlefield only to see Fenris taunting Slogon. "Damn him, need to get his attention!" Osano ran to a nearby house, grabbed a torch from it and threw it on the bed. He did this to several buildings cutting down guards as he went and soon, Balmora was in flames. He ran back to the wall completely ignoring Ryan as he went (lol). And looked on at the battlefield. He saw that Konrad had aused a great amount of damage and so Osano commanded his constructs to concentrate on Balmora. This post has been edited by ShogunSniper: Aug 13 2005, 12:20 AM

OOC: use the dragon to set buildings on fire and what not.
IC:Within a half hour, there was a congregation of leaders in the Hall of Justice, There stood a representative from Ebonheart, a representivie from the Mage's Guild, one from the Fighter's Guild, The head of the ordinators of Vivec, and 20 or more messengers that were constantly appearing and dissapearing as messages were being relayed throught major parts of the city, and Ebonheart.
This meeting had been called to begin preparing the city for the coming invasion. Megil was pacing back and forth across the room,
"... Ebonheart has agreed to evacuate into Vivec, knowing that this city and its cantons will offer better protection than the keep. This helps us in that we will have imperial troops patrolling the city, and we will have a legion waiting on the mainland to meet the army of constructs."
"I want the outer Cantons evacuated and to be used as housing for troops. civilians will be moved into the inner cantons and kept within the lower levels of the structures. I do no want any civilians apart from those with passes roaming the city. We will needs Ordinators within the Cantons to keep order. I want the lower out level of the cnatons to be patrolled by footmen, lancers, and any melee attacking unit. Sylph lancers will also patrols the lower canton. the second sotry I want to have filled with mages, of all skill levels. This wil ensure that they have a clear view of teh battle and that they can cast their spells into the foes. The top level will he filled with archers and javelin throwers. and i want only combustible arrows used, since regular arrows will not damage the constructs greatly."
Megil stopped and let this information sink in and to allow messags to be distributed throughout the city.
"I want all vessels to be evacuated from Ebonheart and to be stocked with arches and an ordinator. These vessels will patrol a one mile perimeter around Vivec stopping any incoming ship. If the ship is hostile I want it sunk, and do not rescue any survivors. There will be fifty sylphs in true form patrolling the waters and killing any opponents that fall into it. the smaller ships will patrols the inner canals and aid in the evacuation of a canton if it is overrun. Speaking of this. I want powerful fire enchantments to be cast on every bridge in Vivec, so that if a canton falls the mages can trigger the spells and destroy the bridges."
"The sewer systems will be used by the smallest of teh vessels and will carry supplies between the cantons if they are needed. runners will be placed in each canton to deliver messages to head quarters which will be this last canton."
"I do not know what type of constructs are coming, but if any of them are artillery I want the mages to focus all their energy into destroying them first. To aid in the fight I want every carpenter in the city and craftsman to be constructing trebuchets in the inner cantons, so that we can destroy a large quantity of soldiers. since this army can be repaired I want to stress the fact that we must destroy these machines to the point which they are irreperable. disintigrate spells i suggest using since it will rust the machines and turn them into dust. ice spells are the least effective and i suggest you use them only to freeze machines into place so that footmen can dismantle them. Fire spells will work, only if the are hot enough to melt the constructs into globs of scrap metal."
Megil continued pacing, thinking of what else could be done to ensure the survival of the city.
"These are all the instructions i have for now, please execute them as fast as possible, since the attack i can feel will be in a few hours. At any point that suggestions are guven, bring them to me." Megil let out a sigh and paced the room, nervous about the incoming battle. he would be on the front cantons casting spells of disintegrating salt water into the constructs.
"Oh, one last thing, If you see the commander of this army, destroy him, if the mage shows up send word directly to me."
Relax Sheogorath said this city is almost impenetrable, and your plants have made it even harder to break into. this city was badly designed for everyday life, but has advantages in war. its walls are thicks, and the cantons allow for isolation.
"You're right, but i can't help but feel i left something out"
Of course you feel that way, everyone does, if they find a weakness you will improvise and deal with it when it arises.

He saw that Konrad had aused a great amount of damage and so Osano commanded his constructs to concentrate on Balmora. Fenris ignored the flames. He knew he couldn't put them out. He fly at Slogon, and drew in breath again, and shouted with all his might at the dragon. The shout struck the dragon with gale force, the wind of the shout catching it's wings, which Fenris doubted would push the Dragon anywhere, but rather, rip the flesh of the wings as such winds would rip the sails of a boat, rendering the dragon ground bound. Meanwhile, the non-combatant citizens of Balmora started fleeing, some of the combat ready ones did too. The more loyal fighters and mages stayed on. The priests were busy healing the fallen. The Werewolves moved like furry blurs, tearing large holes into the construct army.

Anthanes levitated towards Fenris and Konrad.
"We're kind of losing. V'laash sharmatzkam solenum!" Magical frost shot from his hands towards a construct nearby which collapsed out of order. "As I was saying, perhaps a retreat is in order while our heads are still in place. Oh, and I suppose there's still the dragon, too."
Low on magicka, the Battlemage merely raised his sword high in the way many heroes do when combating dragons, and joined Fenris in the attack on the oversized winged lizard.

Fenris, who's face was flushed red from the exerction of using too many high powered shouts too quickly, and riding one here, sighed. "I'm Fenris Howlbreath," he introduced himself. "Warrior and Nordic Tongue."
The Werewolves didn't stop in Caledra, but halted a good distance between Caledra and Ald'Ruhn, to rest. They couldn't stay with the other survivors. People usually killed Werewolves, and that obviously, wasn't a option.
