Megil was sitting in the headquarters for many hours that day, many suggestions had been brought up, some were ridiculous, and otehrs where so devious that Megil had them executed in absolute secrecy.
the sun would rise soon, Megil turned as the door opened behind him. several messengers came in, some out fo breath.
A beautiful sylph fully decked in armor simply said, "Report!"
The first messengers came forwards.
"It seems the attackers have taken ahold of Ebonheart Sir, would you request that the traps be set off?" Megil smirked, earlier that day a yound mageling had come to him and suggested that ebonheart be enchanted into a deathtrap so that when the enemy moved into teh empty keep, the trap would be set off upon command.
"Yes let us set off the trap." Megil stood and walked outside onto the balcony and listened to the darkness. The messengers followed except the one who had run out to relay the message to the mages encharge of the demolition of the keep.
After several minutes a large cracking sound filled the air, followed by a rumbling that carried on for several minutes.
the traps where set on the foundation columns throught the entire keep. upon command the simple traps would ignite and blow apart the columns supporting the keep, the hallways and walls began to collapse as the load bearing columns where destroyed.
Megil walked back inside and awaited the other reports.
"Sir the enemy has been een ransacking neighboring villages." this news was of course no surprise to Megil. "Sir, its not just constructs. there are..... undead among the enemy forces." Megil's eyes widened with shock,
"What... undead, $#!7." Megil rubbed his temples
What do I do....what to do
then it came to him.
"Alright I want you to relay this message through the commanders, tell them to dismember the dead, and then burn them. we can not allow the enemy to use our fallen against us."
the third messenger came forth, a sheepish looking boy who seemed afraid to deliver his news.
"Well," Megil said, his patience wearing thin.
"...ummm....sir... spies have come up with an estimate of the size of thopposing army..."
"And," Megil said. "How many are there?"
"...sir...there are close to 50,000 troops, the number rising as the slay citizens and add them to their ranks."
Megil slammed his fist onto the desk, he waved the boy off.
Megil turned to the commander of the sylphs, his nostrils flaring, his eyes desperate.
"What do you suggest we do?"
She looked at him, "Let not anyone see you loose hope sir, I suggest we fight to the death. remember also that there are 15,000 sylphs that w can call on." sylphs are agile fighters, and when they take their serpentine armor, are immune to most weapons and spells. they can take out a large number of enemy soldiers. And you know Megil, that when a sylph dies, she returns to the water, he body lost to teh sea. did you not knwo that the entire sea is made from sylphs sir, you to command the dead, and not even the evil mage can control water."
Megil was glad he had the commander with him,
"You can always call for your mother, she is the oldest of us, nearly 7,000 years old now. her powers are immense, and her magic, can tear down even the undead."
Megil looked at the commander, "Yes but I will not call upon my mother unless the battle is against our favor."
The sylph looked sympathetic.
"You too are a sylph sir, you are the first male sylph to bear power on us, when all seems lost sir, turn into your true form, and drive them away."
Megil looked confused, she was just trying to cheer him up, he knew there was nothing within him, his power was but a fraction to that a full sylph. he had no form. He had searched his soul his entire life, for the hidden power of a sylph, and had never found it.
"Well let us ride into battle, and if we lose, let us lose in an honourable fashion."
OOC: crappers, ignore my previous post.

Alton pulled his cloak tightly around him and ran along with the group of refugees that fled from Ebonhart. "Where are we going!" Screamed Alton, trying to sound convincing to the other townsmen. A young man in his early twenties answered him, "I'm not sure! They told us to take what we could and leave now!"
He continued to run on, forcing his way into the main gates of Vivic. Faking a pant he stood by the arch-way that led to the top of the Foreign Quarter Canton.
Alton noticed a guard jog by and quickly called him back, "Sir! What news!?" "Nothing for your ears peasent" Fickly one aye? "Look good sir, my family is stuck in the back of the refugee line, I need to know what to do!" Alton faked with all the power he could muster. "Fine, the citizens are being herded into the inner cantons, there you will be safe.. Now go!"
Alton slipped off into the shadows, and gather more information.

Megil stood out on the deck and looked out across Vivec, se saw a lot of movement at one of the entrances.
HE sent a messenger to find out what was going on.
The messenger returned, "Its nothing sir, they are letting refugees in."
MEgils blue eys were now blazing.
"WHAT? I want them to close the bridges into teh city. no refugees. Don't you understand, spies can come in that way." MEgil fumed.
"From now on no one gets across the bridge, if they try kill them. Tell the soldiers they are not to speak to anyone." Ihe turned to the sylph, "tell the sylphs if any civilians try to swim into vivec to kill them on the spot, and dismember the bodies."
I'm glad I have kept most of the plans hidden, from any of the lower ranks. there are but mayb 15 people in this city that are aware of a small fraction of the plan. and they are not inside the cantons.

Fenris nodded. "Aye, it'll wear them down without us losing men, not only that, Ald'ruhn will be fortified. Depending on how much time we have we might be able to call in help from the Bal Isra and Maar Gan. Maybe even Ghostgate."
Fenris stood, and made the annoucement, and the citizens of Caldera, those who had survived Balmora and Caldera's guards began filtering into the mages guild, being teleported to Ald'Ruhn. After several hours, everyone was relocated to Ald'Ruhn, and fortifications were well underway. While the Mages Guild alchemists worked at producing Anthanes' 'grenades' for those who would be sent back to Caldera to ambush Osano's army. Fenris downed a exclusive restore fatigue potion, and set his mark.
"Right anthanes, when you're ready the Guild guide will send us back to Caldera with some of the leftover Hlaalu archers, armed with those....grenades. And a few mage. One of which is a skilled conjurer. Apparently, he knows how to summon a Ice Monarch."
"You know, the sort of Daedra that was soultrapped to make that 'Ice blade of the Monarch' artifact."

The armies met and metal clashed and soldiers of both sides fell, York of course climbed a neaby hill with a few of the constructs and watched. The human troops were well trained and equipped for this fight.
What could I do to make them lose focus? Hmmmm....ahhh...
York called two of the mages to him.
"You will burn the houses in this town as the army passes them clearing out the guards." York said looking over the battlefield.
The best thing about it was he could give orders from above the battlefield, giving him the tactical advantage.
Arrows struck the constructs mostly bouncing off but many of the elves on the wall could take down a group with pinpoint accuracy. Constructs fell in the battlefield but it seemed with a steady flow of the dwemer machines coming in the city would fall...in time.
And the humans would tire...York called a few of the incoming constructs to him for his defense, but continued to watch the battle. The mages were hard at work burning the abandoned houses, it didn't really accomplish anything but seeing a village burn must strike fear into their troops.

After Alton gathered the necesary information, and a hint that the Sylphs would be involved, he chose his time to depart.
Upon returning to Ebonhart he noticed at first glance that the main keep had fallen in on itself. At first anger flared in him, then a series of laughter erupted from him, "Well, well, it seems our adversarys will put up a bit of a fight..."
On entering the courtyard area Alton surveyed the damage first hand, "It seems that most of my command staff was..." He thought for the right word, for they were already dead, "Smashed?" He turned to one of the few humans that had defected to his cause, "Abulard?" "Yes my master" the redguard said in a slow yet croaky voice. "How goes Seyda Neen and Pelegiad?" "Sir, there was no resistance in Seyda Neen, but in Pelegiad we are still rooting out the rebels." "Good, and the.. previous inhabitants?" He said with a raised eyebrow "All servants to you and great lord Arkyact." "Splended. See to it that the infected citizens reach Vivic safely" Alton managed a evil grin. Earlier in the morning, while many were asleep, Alton devised a plan to poison the water with a deadly disease strain of the sort. The first signs occur after almost 7 hours and the victims are random vomiting, then the infected grow indcredibly cold, much to the point where their body tempature drops several degrees. Anything the victim touches becomes "infected" that if another should contact any mucuss membranes on their body they to shall be infected. "As of now there is no cure Abulard" He laughed at the plan, "But, as of now, it only has a 81% death rate. We will still have much killing to do."
Already at least a 1/5 of Ebonhart had consumed the water...

York stared at one archer that seemed to stand out among the mages and archers. He had already destroyed several of the constructs and was dropping more by the moment.
York called up some of the undead archers and whispered,
"Move along the hillside to the left and get above the castle, fire at that man there." York said pointing to Otik
Before they left he quickly added,
"Be careful not to get sighted before you are in position."
The archers moved around the mountain and carefully knocked arrows into their bows firing at Otik.
"Damn these apprentice archers..."York cursed for several moments watching what this man would do
It appeared that he had been discovered, one of the people was staring at him far away.

Otik was sniping the constructs and all of a sudden he felt an arrow go into his sholder and the force pushed him down to the ground, moments later a dozen or more arrows flew over his head and struck the floor near him. Otik pulled the arrow out and called, MEDIC! You two mages throw your strongest fireballs onto the archers on that hill!" a minute later the pain was gone and Otik threw a volley of arrows at the remaining archers on the hill. He then turned back to the constructs and continued fighting ***hows that Kiln ***
