Megil glanced back at the man, he then turned around and approched the nearest of is commanders, "Prepare the men for war again" he strode past the man and approached a glum woman,

"So tell me guild guide, how are the other cities?"

she looked up, tears running down her face,

"Balmora and Sadrith More have fallen, as has caldera but the one to Ald'rhun has been in heavy use lately."

Megil thought for a moment, he then motioned to one of teh sylphs that always followed him,

"I want you to travel to Ald'rhun and tell me what is going on there."

The sylph simply nodded and then vanished as the guild gudie sent her to ald'rhun.

Otik was wondering the town when He saw a sylph appear at the door of the mages guild and he ran over to it, "hail, do you bring news from Megil?"

As the sylph wandered otu fo the mage's guild and onto teh street, women kept giving her stange looks while husbands, men and boys could not take their eyes of her. she ignored the looks, and glanced around the bustling town as guards darted back and forth, usually turning back to get another look at the creature. She nervously walked out into the open and began to look for the people in charge of this army, she jumped back in fright when Otk first approached her, but quickly recomposed herself,

"news? no I bring no news, I have instead come seeking news of this place so that i may report back to my half-brother."

she stared teh man up and down, as usually most men told her anything without her having to ask,

"...Well" she snapped, when he didn't speak.

"well umm don't know the specifics but I think I got a ruff(sp) outline of everything, I know they reinforced the gate, buried some grenades under the ash and" Otik paused when he noticed the Sylph had a look of confusion on her face, "oh I'll show you" Otik dug one out of his pack, "These explode when they hit something or if you pour the contents out what ever touches it istintaniously catches on fire" He put the grenade back in his pack

"We also have the guards from the nearby fort fall back here and I think thats 'bout it. If you want somemore info You can find Fernis and most of the others in the Rat in the Pot right over ther" Otik pointed and waited for an answer.

"Otik?" Jace said Jace now a bit annoyed "Where's Megil? What's happened to him?, and who's she?"

"hwhat? Oh ummm Jace right? Yeah Megil is in Vivec. I don't think he's lost yet and umm well this is a sylph. A half-brother, I mean sister, sorry, to megil and she wanted to know about the defenses of the city."

the sylph eyed the new man in front of her with minor interest.

"defenses you say, well what are they like, how many men are defending this city, and how large is the opposing army.? sha asked,"

"wow lots of questions, Well from the other battles I fought i know we are going to be out numbered. I know we have mabey a thousand people, I don't think there were that may people here in Ald' rhun before we got here. I'm thinking the enemy arny will be around 5, mabey 10k of renewable dwemer constucts and undead. follow me we can hold a conference with everyone in the tavern. Otik left and the sylph reluctantly followed Otik into bar and found there group, "hey guys this is a sylph from Megil's army wanting to know of how large the the armies are, both our's and the enemy's and the towns defenses"

"A SYLPH?!" Anthanes paced over to Otik. Damnation, not another one of those aquatic wenches... "I'd not trust her. Who says she's not a spy?"

Otik raised an eye to athanes, "I say she's not a spy becasue, Like I told jace who is out side somewere, Megil is somehow related to the Sylphs becuse this one is his half-sister.

Otik rolled his eyes and pulled out his bow, "Okay how 'bout you sit down and let the lady talk or else I send an arrow through your cranium? YOU were the one killing ashlanders and attacking tons of people before you "lost" your memories and "changed" sides. mMgil only killed one person and that was on accident for all that I know. At least mad is always evil."

"Damnit, I'm growing impatient. York, I'm taking my army to the front gates. I want you to have a closer look at the weakpoint in there wall, but don't let them see you. Report back to me when you are finished." Osano said. He took his army out from the coverage of the hillside and made them completely visible from the gates of Ald'Ruhn. They were, however, just out of spellshot and arrows would fall weak at that range.

Osna stood in front of the army and looked at the town. You will fall soon.

"do you want it to turn into 'He's more powerful then us lets kill him'? Well at the moment it's not, at the moment it is one of those 'He's an annoying battlemage who won't shut-up'! Besides I already told her the bases of our defence and the rough sizes of both armies, I just brought her here so we could smooth out the wrinkles! She could go back to Megil and tell him "they are doomed because they bicker and wont work together." Otik was panting impatient

Shakur Got tired of waiting around in the bar, and after walking out of the bar, he felt a great presence. The bells of the front gate rang, and soldiers gathered near the gate. Shakur walked to the gate, and spoke to some superior officers. "I am-" Shakur was inturrupted by the large orc, who said "your fame has beaten you, sir Ir Shin. Ehat exactly do you want?". Shakur was flattered by the Orc, though war isn't about who can make their soldiers flattered. "I want permission to speak to their general, for we deserve speach in this war. I will not need assistence or this gate opened, and I will go alone" after Shakur said, the Orc repying quickly with "I see, well, go over and do your buisness. After all, I'm not the wise and strong Ansei.". Shakur used his ring and levitated over the wall. He floated to the ground and then started walking towards the army. Only intelligence served him now.

Sel noticed Shakur leaving, so he grabbed Shakur's god-given item, dropped his pack and ran after him.

He saw Shakur levitate over the gate. Why was he doing that? It didn't matter because if he was going into enemy territory, he would need his item even more.

He climbed to the top of the wall and jumped down on the other side.

"Shakur!" Sel shouted, running after the ansei. "Wait up!"

"Sounds like the time has come," V'anul said, breaking off and heading downstairs, he roused the Armigers, before him, and they, disapearred in a flash of light. Fenris headed outside, undaunted by the disapearance of the Armigers. It was nearly Night once again, and the sky was dark with clouds. Ominous signs. Tidings of the battle to come no doubt. "To arms!" The Nord shouted. "PREPARE FOR BATTLE!" he added in a tone that shook the walls ever so slightly. Enough to scatter dust from them.

The Tongue frowned and headed to the the Gate, and waited. Anara meanwhile, made her way downstairs, her body aching. The first sign of the coming of the night and the change. She striped the armor off her form, and waited. Her breathing grew heavy in anticipation.

Outside, Soldiers quickly moved into position. Most with the discipline and order of the Redoran forces and the Imperial Legion. The less militant fighters, those from the Mages, and Fighters Guilds, the local Morag Tong chapter, and the priests of the temple were less impressive in getting into posistion.

"Shakur!" Sel shouted, running after the ansei. "Wait up!"

One of the Mages cast a levitation spell on Sel, causing the Dunmer to leave contact with the ground. Just in time, too. If the spell hadn't been cast Sel would have fallen into the spiked trench hidden under the ash around Ald'Ruhn.

The less militant fighters, those from the Mages, and Fighters Guilds, the local Morag Tong chapter, and the priests of the temple were less impressive in getting into posistion.

When Serene heard the loud call from Fenris she turned to Jonacin saying:
"Ok I might as well try to help the mages and commoners to garther toghether, they have a right to defend their homes and families. Maybe I can lead them...."

She turned to the others:

"Anyone care to help out? Celia? Anyone?"
