Vvardenfell,
Grazelands, close to Vos

As the time went by Eberron was nearing the Telvanni town, Vos. He walked with his eyes sharpened on the horizon in front of him. What he was going to expect at Vos went through his mind, but as the thoughts went through his head he knew he actually didn't have anything to do there. I can be wandering around here for weeks, if not months trying to find just the smalles of clues to where they are...

Eberron rubbed the back of his head, before gently touching his scar at his neck as he walked. The memories of his brothers made him feel better, thought they where dead he had many nice memories. His thought switch to another thought, and he soon thought of if it was anything else he could do here. Vvardenfell was only one of the few places that was about to explode into share chaos if a war would unleash on the houses. Maybe I could do something, maybe try to... No, what could a young Redguard do in this crisis. I doubt with all this I would have little hope of finding my sister and even suriving here. If I would be captured by anyone with my fathers sword I dont know what they would belive of me. Maybe they would think I'm a Legion Knight and kill me or something... Eberron shaked his head, clearing the thoughts. He was better at handling things as they came, insted of planning at least things like this. He could soon see the city of Vos beyond a little hill in front of him. It was time to focus setting his feet into this new ground...

"Lets see what I can find out about this house then - Telvanni" Eberron said to himself before entering the city...

Endris awoke with a star, "Day already?" He quickly readied his equipment, pulled on his cloak and rushed out the door of the Morag Tong. He walked at a brisk pace over to the Silt strider and asked the man to take him to Ald'Ruhn. Silt striders were expensive at this day and age, Endris knw, but he wanted to get to Ald'Ruhn quickly.

---------------------------------

Almost an hour or so had passed when he arrived in Ald'Ruhn. He walked off the silt strider port and pulled out his assassination writ and read it, double checking. Serene [last name]. Endris tucked the writ away and began aimlessly wandering the town. He couldn't ask where Serene lived because that would brand him as a suspect.

Konrad looked from the man he remembered had slaughtered the Ahnerreshu (Something like that...smile.gif) to Serene. He panicked slightly, this was too much for him. His face stayed resolute, glancing backwards and forwards from Anthanes to Serene. It seemed the man had recognized him, but Serene hadn't.

He turned to the woman and bowed low, before noting the hand. He took it in his own gloved hand and kissed it lightly, before staring up at the woman. She was how he remembered, she did not seem to care for his appearance after all. He cleared his throat, trying to produce some words. A mixture of dehydration and lack of practice hindered him.

"I...I am looking for you." he croaked, standing back up to his full height. "You said to visit..sometime."

"...Hello, Konrad." , the half-dunmer said. "And hello to you too, Serene." Anthanes grinned slightly.

Konrad nodded solemnly, following the joyous Serene into the manor. He sat down wearily on a chair, crossing a leg over his other as he layed back. He took a glass of Flin from the maid, sipping it slowly. "What I've done....What I've done." he mumbled to himself, putting the drink down on the table besid him.

"Nothing. I followed Sel and Celia back to their town and lived on the outskirts of it. Everybody thought I was an old man. I've spent my days making furniture and growing vegetables. Haven't handled a sword since I broke mine back in the pub." he told her, smiling. His smile was not backed up by his eyes though, they were empty of emotion.

"So what about you? This is a nice home you live in." he commented, looking around casually.

Dane let a look of dismay mar his moody expression "Oh I see..." he said pitying for the captive soul, an emotion he didn't often experience.

"I could direct you in the way of the general store, but I want to know... Why do you put up with it?" he asked somewhat frustrated.

Well, that was unexpected.

It took him a moment to think of something. He opened his mouth to respond, but his jaw dropped before he could speak. Just beyond the man adressing him, a dunmer was talking to a guard and both were looking directly at Val.

Val recognized him. He had arrested the unsavory character a few years back for burglary.

"Oh.... hell."

Dane was confused, the Argonian wasn't replying, infact he might have let slip a curse from his scaled lips. Dane was a bit put off for having his question snubbed by some slave, but perhaps he was just uncomfortable talking to others free of captivity, none the less he waited for a answer.

The guard now had his hand on the sword sheathed at his side. He was took a step in their direction. The guy that questioned him was apparently oblivious to the situation.

Think of something, you have to get out of here.

He got it.

"I'm sorry, but if I don't hurry my master will be angry with me."

Hopefully this fellow will lead him somewhere where he could lose the guard.

"Why thank you Konrad!, Well we´ve built up a life here....."

"Mommy!!! Mommy!..." a childish voice interrupted her and she immediately rose and went down the stairs saying:

"Oh guys you haven´t seen our miracle yet!"

Sel

"It's only for a week." Sel promised Celia as he strapped on his sword. He doubted he would need it, but he always took it with him just in case. "Mr. Lenius said that we may even return before that." He grabbed his pack and kissed his wife and daughter goodbye before walking out the door towards the river.

He wasn't exactly fond of his job, but it had definite possibilities. Especially with the blockade that had been formed around Vvardenfell, pirates would be in greateer numbers due to the fact that many Legion ships were focused on the island rather than the mainland shores.

Boarded the ship and went below decks. He threw his pack and his sword on his bunk, but kept his dagger on his belt. He walked back up to begin the long process of loading the supplies.

Once that was done, they were underway. Sel hated this part of the journey; the large ship was forced to go down the river, often getting stuck in shallow parts, and always extremely uneventful. The ocean was the best part of the journey, the wind in his face, the salty air, the awesome power of the water itself...

"Sel!" Mr. Lenius, his boss shouted, disrupting Sel from his hours of daydreaming. "Hoist the sail!"

Sel looked up; they had already gotten to the mouth of the river! He burst into motion, deftly climbing the familiar ropes and waiting for the right time to do his part in raising the sail.

Soon, his duties were done, and he stood on the bow, allowing his face to be sprayed by the salty ocean mist.

This is how Sel's days at work went, but he didn't go every day. It was usually a trip of a week or two, but then he would get plenty of time off afterwards, while Mr. Lenius got paperwork and ship maintenance done. Time he spent with his family.

Sel enjoyed his relaxed lifestyle, but did miss the old days of fighting demons, werewolves, mages, and Niran.

The next few days were uneventful for Sel --meaning no pirates-- but son he could see the huge blockade ahead. How were they getting through that?

Within minutes, a Legion ship came up beside them and boarded, asking questions of all kinds and searching the cargo.

"Once you get on the island," Sel heard a soldier say. "You can't come back until everything is settled over there."

"So we are clear to go?" Mr.. Lenius asked.

"Yes, you are allowed docking at Seyda Neen."

When the soldier went back to his own ship, Sel ran over to his boss. "You said it would be a week!"

"I said it should be a week if all goes well. Apparently, all isn't well on Vvardenfell." Mr. Lenius said smugly.

Sel resisted the urge to punch him in the face. How was he to explain this to Celia? He was getting a slap or two, that was for sure. "Well then, I guess we should turn around."

"Sure," Mr. Lenius said. "You can swim."

Sel walked away then, mumbling curses directed at the imperial.

OOC: long, I know, but I wanted Sel to join in the madness!

Dane

Dane felt even more sympathy for the hectic slave.

Obviously extremely overworked..

He turned around to walk away and was almost run into by a busy looking Hlaalu guard and an apparently concerned citizen.

Why don't these damn dunmer leave a poor slave well enough alone...

He thought to himself thinking that the slave was obviously a runaway.

Dane walked up to the guard attempting to distract him.

"Oh Hi there" He said a false smile gracing his unshaven face "What are you doing?"

"Nothing that concerns you, street trash" the guard growled obviously irritated by being blocked by Dane and attempting to look over his shoulder and through the crowd for the Argonian.

"Damnit!, you made me lose him you ugly vagrant!" The guard cursed grabbing the hilt of his blade. "Your lucky I'm not cutting you up right here!" he said as he rushed off quickly through the crowds attempting to track the Argonian, citizen in tow.

I did all I could

Dane thought returning to his socially avoidant shell

"It's all in his hands now.." he uttered quietly as he walked away.

Isaarin

Isaarin stood there as Megil strode off.

Though burning up inside for being lambasted by an obviously half-bred dunmer he didn't let a look of anger cross his face. Only a look of smug self-assurance graced his noble visage as he turned around and ordered whichever lowly officer was with him at the time to keep an eye out for Megil in the future and then walked off heading for his personal silt strider to be brought back to his manor in Balmora.

Val slipped around a corner. He was out of sight of that guard, but there were others. One of which was approaching, he had obviously noticed the commotion.

Damn my magicka pool. I could of at least brought the charm with me.

"You there! What are you doing sneaking around like that? Let me see your hands."

He was close, arms reach in fact, and his sword was drawn.

Ok Val. You knew it would happen some day.

Val raised his hands above his head.

Nobody lives forever. But no way I'm going down without at least a struggle.

In a quick movement, he brought one of his hands down directly in front of the guards helm. With a flash, he blasted a light fireball into the visor. The guard staggered and yelled in pain. The light spell likely did little damage, but it was a great distraction.

Val bolted. Leaning forward and trailing his arms behind him he made for the gate beyond the now alarmed crowd. There the gards were already waiting for him.

Dane heard a loud metallic sounding blast and only knew it could have been the slave.

The crowds were rushing around in fear trying to escape the source of the blast. He traced the patterns of where the people were running away from and approached a guard struggling to get back up on his feet. Though guards were obviously rushing up to investigate, nobody was there at the moment and he kicked the guard squarely in the side of his head knocking him uncouncious.

Not wishing to be connected with the mess he rushed away in persuit of the argonian using his ranger skills, though dampened by being in a cityscape, to track down the wayward slave.

Sel

Sel stepped off the ship and was supposed to enter the census office, but that wouldn't do well, being an outlaw and all. He jumped the fence by the dock and entered the town.

It was strange, being back home. He played with the amulet on his neck(not thinking about the fact that he could easily go home with it) as he walked towards the silt strider port. While he was here, he may as well visit his mother and sister.

Sel handed the man at the silt strider septims, and was promptly blasted in the face by his laughter.

"What's so funny?" Sel asked, getting a little angry.

"Go get some Hlaalu currency; it will serve you much better here."

"Is there no exchange?" Sel asked; he really wanted to get to where he was going.

"Hmm...It will cost you five hundred septims to ride." the man said, taking advantage of Sel's absence from the island.

"five hundred? that's ridiculous!"

"Septims have no value here." the man answered with a shrug, leaving the possibiliities of exchange in Vivec unsaid. "I'm doing you a favor by even accepting them."

"Fine." Sel said, handing hims the gold and sitting down in the silt strider. "Ald'ruhn."

Not slowing, Val brought both arms forward and focused a purble transparent sphere in each. He launched them at the two guard blocking the gate. The orbs' energy circled around there bodies until they reached their feet.

Low power levitation. Very magicka efficient, and so weak the victim could only hover ever so slowly.

Val stopped, nearly falling flat on his face. Now for the final touch. He waved his arms in a circle, then shoved them forward. The telekinesis spell struck the confused men and launched them. Under normal circumstances, they might have barely felt it, but the lev spell val cast on them made them weightless. The gate was clear.

Val again sped off. He could hear heavy footsteps behind him.

Dammit. Im out of power.

He would need his sword to deal with the final guard giving chase.

Dane reached into his pocket. He needed to get this slave's attention. He did a roll and while doing so picked up a small rock. As soon as he got to his feet he threw it in front of the path of the fleeing slave.

Dane feared it would hit his feet but it connected with the dirt with a light thud and sent a small clowd of dirt around the Argonian's feet. With a little attention gotten he yelled "Hey!".
