I am very sorry to have to make this thread but I just got a message from jonajosa´s wife telling this terrible news

They went into a building to clear it when a grenade rolled out towards them. My Husband got everyone else out of the room and blocked the shrapnel from hitting his men with his body in the doorway.

Medical wise he has lost a foot and has lost also a lot of blood. Im crying as I write this because his chances of survival are only 40%.


She wanted me to tell his friends about this and thus I´m doing it. I´m crying as well writing this.....why I think you all understand..

So let us hope he will be ok and get home safe and sound.

Jonajosa´s wife said she´ll contact me again in a few days.....when she knows more, i think she has possibility to contact him, so all we can do now is hope he´ll pull through...

Oh sweet god in heaven, I do pray that he pulls through this ordeal, and I do hope his wife can find a way to cope with this tragedy. Poor guy, I really do hope he can get the blood he needs and whatever medical support he can.

What are the odds, you know? That on this little fan forum one of us, one of our very own has had this happen to him. It's just awful that he got injured and is in such critical condition.
