Full Version: House Designing
How do you place items in your house where you want them? Or can you even do it? I have a 360 by the way, so I can't use hotkeys.
Um, it's basically the same as dropping items on the ground. Just place them where you want them.

Also i think that draging is done very sloppy.I worked my boat of by just putting silver plates and pitchers!!!
Definatly not worth my time....
But everytime I drop an item it just falls over. I was just wondering if there was a way to control it better.
I've found that the way the object reacts depends on the part of the object you 'grab', so if you have your cursor on the top of the object you can sort of...flop it into position.

Unfortinatly you can't.That's one of the devs sloppyest mistakes if you ask me.I really don't like thje fact i can't drag bodyes wherever i want....and i can't decorate my house nicely because of that.....Still,i hope a mod will apear.I think it might be official mod(Made by Bethesda).

That would be fantastic, but I like decorating my house. This drop and cross fingers is retarded and very sloppy. Lets hope it comes out soon aye.
i try to lean an array of my weapons against the walls. it takes time but eventually i can get it to stay. but when i leave and then walk in again, as soon as i get in they fall down. pisses me off.

Yes you can, go in to your inventory, find a item you want to hot key and hold "Y", then press the D pad direction you want to put it on. Sorry I can't give you any tips on placing items, just keep trying.
Apart from using telekinesis how can u do it on the PC
Don't drop items on the ground. Empty all the drawers and bullcrap items out of all your furniture and shelves. Then...designate one cabinet for Weapons, one for Bows, One for Armor, One for Potions, a Desk for Scrolls, etc. It beats putting all that crap onto the floor.
And if you don't know how to put items into cabinets and you're on the XBOX360, simply
click on the cabinet/desk----it will show you that there is nothing inside of it....then just
hit the left paddle---it will show your inventory and you just click which items you want (using the A key) and that way you can organize stuff.

Had a tough time reading that but I agree that you should be able to drag bodies wherever you want.

You're missing the point.
The topic creator doesn't want to put his stash weapons so that he can use it later.....He wants to decorate his house

Yea you kind of did miss the point. I want to decorate the house so it looks cool. I have chests already designated for all my crap, but i just wanted to throw new stuff in my house to show off to my friends.
kinda like this setup i got goin on in my house.... all the stuff that's too expensive to sell...
