Due to a game glitch on the X360, I saved my only copy of this game where this wizard was guarding a chest that I need into. I can't lure him away from it or get him to move.
My only option was killing him. So...I killed a member of the mage's guild. The penalty was to bring back 20 Daedra Hearts and 20 Vampire Ashes. The only problem is...is there IS NO MORE VAMPIRES that I can find to complete these requirements.

I've killed the vampires in the Imperial Sewers, Memorial Cave, and Redwater Slough.

I cannot kill the vampires in Bloodcrust Cave, because it will create a paradoxial bug which won't allow me to complete a Mage's Guild quest which requires me to "clear the vampires from "Bloodcrust Cave." I've tried. The count simply never shows up to give you the mission. This is really irritating.

Anyone got any clues or suggestions where some vampires might be hiding?! Thanks!

The count doesn't come. His steward comes with a group of necromancers to try and kill you. Then the count kills the steward and necromancers. Sorry to ruin it for ya. Did you do everything you're supposed to after that?

No...I'm talking about waiting for the Count to receive the mission (to go to Bloodcrust Cave--kill the Vamps and deal with the Vampire Hunters)----I just stand and stand forever waiting for the Count. He never shows up...his steward (the Argonian) says..."The Count will be right with you"..and the Count never showed up. I searched the entire castle and he wasn't there. I waited and waited...and bugged the Argonian time and time again. No luck. I had cleared Bloodcrust Cave on the advice of a friend because he said Vampires would be there. Well...they were. However...with the Vampires dead, I'm thinking that the Count won't give me the mission now.

I don't know what to do. I need more Vamp ashes to get back into the Mage's Guild--I need to kill SIX MORE vamps. I've gone through Redwater Slougth, Memorial Cave, and the Imperial Sewers. I've run out of Vamp hiding places.

Vampires in caves RESPAWN you know.

And if that doesn't suits you,i would sugest you visit Azura's Shrine......The quest is related with vampires......

I think I've been pretty patient through this whole ordeal. LOL
Where is this Azura place that you're mentioning? I don't think that I've come across it as of yet?

And about patience:They will reespawn in a week or two....just do some other quests (Counts,Shrines,Main Quest,Town Quests and such) and the time will pass in no time

Dude you really have to explore the northeast a bit more. You are missing about 20 map markers.

I too suggest Azura's quest, as it is easy to get vamprism doing the chore. Also, Nice spoils at the end .
