Wow. I went to umbra at level 6. My armor was horrible and umbra would obviosly beat me. I survived by using a drain fatigue blade, making umbra fall repeatadly. I also used skooma. The added strength gae my acrobat the power to carry the items and do more damage. And I thought it was useless. Has skooma helped anyone else?

Not in oblivion, I recognised that it was useful but I never used it, but in Morrowind the alcohol had similiar effects to what skooma does in oblivion and alcohol saved me many times. I was disappointed that the alcohol was next to useless in oblivion.

It seemed useful for me. Except it ran out pretty fast.

its good for long journeys on foot because it boosts your speed but id honestly advise against useing it because he has some pretty heavy side affects , but in a pinch of flight or fight , yes it could help.
