Frostflow Lighthouse Spoiler, or Getting Rid of Habd’s Remains:

Go all the way to the top of the lighthouse and activate the brazier. That cremates poor Habd and gives you a little permanent bonus. smile.gif

Here's a couple more interesting Skyrim tidbits:

Travel to the summit of the Throat of the World. You'll find some Malachite and Ebony ore veins up there.

In Alfthand, you will find a skeleton inside one of the locked treasure rooms with a copy of The Locked Room next to him.

Oh, and in the Elder Scrolls universe, the wampas won. You can find that easter egg in a cave north of Winterhold.

OK, from another thread, Missing in Action spoilers. How to legally obtain the evidence. I have not tried this, since the Battle-Borns were already threatening to smash Jensa's face in. Sigh.

The full explanation is here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Missing_in_Action .

It looks like the only completely legal way is to keep chatting with Idolaf Battle-Born until you pass his persuasion test. Then he'll spill the beans and give you the Imperial missive. Even if you're friends with the family and welcome in their home, you'd still have to break into the locked room to get the evidence.

I'm sure I can pass the persuasion test, that will be great. I do not want a bunch of neighbors in a town I love thinking I'll be breaking into their homes and stealing stuff.

Oh, I also heard that the "persuasion test" with General Tullius is bugged, that he is supposed to give you an order to free the kid but doesn't for some reason. URK! If I can't get in their peacefully, I'll drop the quest and let it hang in my journal.

Does anyone know what Erandur's purple spell is? It looks like he's receiving a blessing when he casts it.

When does he use it?
Grits
In combat, pretty much throughout. He'll often have fire in one hand and the purple spell in the other.

I think it is a ward spell.

I think it is a ward spell.

That's the only non-destruction spell he has in his spell list in the Creation Kit.

I suppose I could look around and see if he gets a new spell during the quest.

That’s what the uesp said too, but I’ve never seen that animation other than at a shrine. I wonder if his ward spell is screwed up in my game. He uses it when you would use a ward, come to think of it. During combat rather than at the beginning like you would a mage armor spell. Plus there’s no glow afterward.
