No, not really. The archery does not have the solid feel that games like Elder Scrolls. It is more pull and hear the arrow go 'ting,' if that makes sense. The game world is not open world but hubs that load the area in. Nothing as good as Beth games.
Where the game does excel is just that liberating feeling of just being lost in the ancient world with huge walls and waterfalls, the usual Tomb Raiding stuff. The ice caverns and detail on the walls really makes you feel that you are miles inside a mountain rather than just using a load cell like Bethesda.
So some parts are better but most is miles behind Beth.
I would give it 8.5 out of ten, it is very good. Just a few too many cut scenes and set piece moments.
I am hoping for more open Tombs in the next one. These ones are too small. We need some huge 5 level thing for the game to be 'epic.'
