Get some of those gelled insoles to put in your shoes while you are at work. You are doing heavy lifting work on a hard floor, it is hell on your feet. My husband had to work like that, I kept a new pair of insoles in his work boots every 6 months or his feet would kill him.
I also need new work shoes. They're like I'm walking on concrete. They used to have air on the bottom, but I kept stepping on tacks at my old job and they deflated the air bubbles. They were wonderful. My birthday is next month and I'm telling everyone to get me a giftcard to Academy so I can get those shoes again.

Good idea, you need good shoes working on hard floors. (example: shoes made for nurses are made for long hours walking/standing on hard floors).

Not exactly entirely back, just missing the place so I'm popping in and waffling...Hopefully the next couple of days should see the worst of the work finished for another 6 weeks, and by then it'll be less of a grind anyways, what with the weather hopefully being a bit cooler...
I know that over in the US you get far hotter temps, but here in the UK we're so unused to anything over the mid-twenties (Celcius) that when we get a prolonged spell of nearly (or just above in some parts of the country) 30 degrees, we're so wrecked it's untrue...
Personally, I really can't stand the heat...It's not doing me much good...I just have to keep up with the water and wait it out really...Grrr...Not good when you're working in it...Damned tractor's Air-Conditioner is broken too...

Yes it was a truly epic struggle. A puny member standing up to a moderator. It was an awe inspiring battle of ages (two-three heated PMs
) that resulted in my permanent exile from the Elderscrolls forums. It is true that I now live somewhere new with a new PC and could easily create a new account but the official forums aren't for me. Besides, all the best guys/gals online are here and spread across a couple of smaller forums.

About Rohugh... I also had dealings with him so it´s not all good. Once he came down on me when really I had done nothing wrong, I just politely defended myself from another member who really was rude, but he got nothing. That was completely unfair

I mean, sure, it was before I even joined the forums, and I've had nothing but nice and respectful interactions with him since, and actually consider him to be an 'online friend' as well as writing mentor, and he's so gentle he would drive a mile to take a mouse back to it's natural habitat,...but I heard he once had to tell someone being rude not too be as such! The audacity, sir!!
And many of my experiences with Rohugh stem from 2006-08 or so, perhaps he's changed since then or cracked under the stress.
Then again we don't need 'mods' in a traditional sense here anyways, we're nice and mostly self-regulating.
But disrespect any of my friends here, like unnamed parties from 2008-09 (no longer here), and I will own you.
I will reach across the distance of time and space, I will open the dark recesses of your soul and I will show you the ugly truth like an unholy revenant seeking vengeance from beyond the grave.

Well I walked outside last night into my fenced in back yard to take my dog to the bathroom. I didn't really pay any attention to my surroundings because it is such a familiar place to me. Then my dog started going nuts. She was growling and the hair was standing up on her back, which is extremely uncommon for my very mellow German Shephard.
She then proceeds to run directly at something small and black, which I can't really see because it is dark. It ran and I then noticed what it was.
My dog was chasing down a SKUNK. Yeah. So I yelled at my dog several times to come to me, luckily I've worked with her and she put aside her natural desire to chase small animals (very strong prey drive with this breed) to listen. I'm just amazed that it didn't spray her or me, since we were about 6 feet away.
So yeah it was an interesting night to say the least. Normally with small animals I would have tried to scare it off but with a skunk, I let him screw around in the back yard until he decided to leave on his own. Not wanting him to spray and leave the area around my house with that pungent stench that only skunks produce.
