I have experienced one designed for Morrowind that does similiar. Within minutes the sky will be darkened with hundreds of cliff racers, all trying to kill you. Took it out as quickly as I put it in.

16 Last Seed (Day 1), late morning

(Hera Tycch, my evil Atronach Sorceress from Cyrodiil, died recently. Since I've had two evil magic-users in a row, I wanted to roll somebody who's more of a good person. And here she is.)

Fay Daway comes to Vvardenfell from Skyrim, with the goal of joining the Mages Guild. Her boat arrives at Molag Mar on this fine, fresh-weather day. As a pale-skinned Nord in a land full of dark elves, Fay immediately stands out. She really feels like an outlander, even before she's called this name, over and over.

Molag Mar is a strange place. She had her choice of taking a boat to Ebonheart, which would be much more like one of the towns of Skyrim, basically a much-more familiar place for her. She chose Molag Mar instead, perhaps because she wants to immerse herself into the province of Morrowind, meeting its actual home residents, experiencing its actual culture.

She sells a slew of items in Molag's smith and trader shops, stuff she brought with her from Skyrim which she won't need: a shield, some repair hammers, and so on. Her family back home in Windhelm are in the cannery/fishing business, not rich, but also not starving. Because of her father's boating connections, Fay has decided to leave Skyrim behind. Why? I entirely know yet. But I do know she is a student.

That is, she recently became a student of magic up in Skyrim, with a focus of becoming an Illusionist. I get the feeling the fact that she studied magic went against her father's wishes, and perhaps this has something to do with why she's here.

She shows up to Morrowind, in fact, with an odd range of talents. Due to her family's fishing business, Fay's skilled with pole weapons, which are occasionally needed while hunting for whales and larger fishes. Because of this, she arrives carrying a silver spear. But she's also got some skills as a merchant: Fay is my first character who's somewhat good (Minor skill) at Mercantile, which she needed while helping her father run the business.

As mentioned, she's also had some magical training, and shows up with a broad range of spells in her book. Primarily, Fay Daway wants to become an illusionist. She can make herself partially invisible with Chameleon and also use Calm spells, but her former training broached several schools. Fay can absorb health. She also can summon scamps, open locks, and employ telekinesis magic.

Her first aim is to find the Mages Guild, and there's nothing of the sort here. After spending a couple days in the canton of Molag Mar, she feels she is ready to try heading toward Suran.
